Light It Up

Sam's comment obviously confused Artemis. She was looking at Sam with a "Huh?" expression. Sam understands this, though. She can totally relate. When she was younger, she would ask a friend what she did all summer and her friend would reply, "Just learned quidditch" and Sam's eyes would bulged and only one particular question is going to flood her mind as long as her friend won't tell her what she said and it is "Is that some kind of tango lesson?", her friend would laugh at her like she was a mental person, though and she totally hates it. "NBA? Well, it stands for National Basketball Association." She explained, looking Artemis in the eyes for she wanted Artemis to get it. Sam thought for a few seconds before adding "Do you know what basketball is?". Artemis was looking kind of embarrassed. Sam was sure it is because of the fact that she doesn't know what NBA is. Sam smirk by the thought of this. She didn't want Artemis to feel bad. Sam totally understands that she's not really an expert when it comes to Muggles since she's a Half-Blood. Sam threw her a concerned look, she wanted to tell her what she was been thinking a while ago but she is a bit afraid Artemis would deny it and then she would be the one to feel the embarrassment instead.

Slowly, the Slytherin registered the information on her brain, telling herself to probably get more information about it with her fellow sibling. Artemis nodded slowly, feeling a little shy with her lack of knowledge towards the particular subject of basketball. Heck, Muggles always had these crazy ideas that they use. They were the ones who always invented these things to play along with. Their technology was thought to be advanced enough but they had no idea what the wizarding world could do. Artemis could bet all her galleons that the wizards and witches could suddenly make a piece of their technology appear out of nowhere. Magical folks are geniuses. The magic that they have is more than the muggles could ever think off. They did not even know that mermaids, centaurs, nymphs, elves and other creatures that they had actually existed! Artemis thought of what the first thing entered her head at first when she heard the word basketball. "Basketball?" Artemis repeated, conscious that it was completely foreign to her tongue. These muggles were crazy. She grabbed a fistful of her hair gently as she thought about it, whilst she held on to her blonde hair. Heck, she only did this whenever she needed to think of something deep. This basketball subject was completely unfamiliar, and with she spoke out aloud the first thing that she thought off.

"Is that some kind of a candy? Chocolate, perhaps?" Artemis gently let go of her blonde hair as it carelessly tumbled downwards to her shoulders. Her lips formed a frustrated frown that obviously told Samantha that the Half Blood had no clue of what it was. Basketball was something that she never heard off in her whole life. If she has heard it, then probably it was only twice or thrice and it made no big deal for Artemis. Artemis did not really keep note on those words that she did not know about, unless she needed too. Artemis released the embarrassed look as her curiosity fully engulfed her. Blue eyes came to face the Ravenclaw's, searching for some amusement in her eyes. There was, unfortunately, yet this did not stop Artemis to hide her questioning look. It was not wrong to question and her question was indeed sensible. Being a Half Blood was just different from being a Muggle, and she did not really put herself into those things, particularly the muggle life and how they lived without magic.

Things seemed to get a bit uncomfortable to Sam. She can't believe she was giving an explanation about basketball to Artemis. Back in her home, Sam was well known for being the most idiot person when it comes to sports, especially about one particular sport and unfortunately -of all the million topics they could be discussing now- they were talking about it. Sam looked around hoping to find something interesting to talk about with Artemis but unfortunately, there's none. Sam thought deeply, she knew from the beginning of the NBA topic, that they were going to talk about basketball. As much as she wanted to explain the whole functions of the game, she can't since the only thing she knows about it is its name and maybe some Muggle people that plays it including her father and her boy cousins. As Sam's eyes stroll along the whole room, one particular question was somehow, stuck inside her brain and, unfortunately, it was making her dizzy. Not physically but mentally. "What am I going to do if she asks me information about basketball? She looks totally clueless. If she wants information about it I'm afraid she just has to live with disappointment. Only what is she gets mad? I am such an idiot. I can't believe I even brought up the topic", accompanied by a weird look she kept plastering her face as the words slid down her brain. Even if Sam isn't that girly, she absolutely isn't that boyish either. She's more of a 50/50 person. That question was something Sam couldn't burst out. She had no intention of telling Artemis that, she intended on keeping it all to herself which is a bit selfish if other people might point out but right now, it's the best choice. Artemis did asked her what basketball is but it wasn't accompanied by another question so that made Sam's mind feel a bit better, if ever her mind can feel anything, though, maybe except for ache and dizziness. Sam's weird expression was changed into a bit shocked one when Artemis asked her if it's some kind of candy or chocolate. Seriously? A chocolate? Artemis absolutely could do better than that, but still, no one could blame her since Sam was also clueless of what to say at the moment. Sam thought for a moment before replying, "No, it's not a candy and it is not a chocolate either. It's a kind of sport. Like quidditch, only minus the broom and the snitch" She explained. Sam could do better than that if she thinks harder; the only problem is that her mind was a bit distracted at the moment. But still, what she said was true. It was almost like quidditch except for the broomsticks and the golden snitch. People shoot the ball in the basket and then they get points, Sam saw her father and her cousins play this, only she doesn't know how to count the scores.

Artemis ignored the small nervousness that sparked in Samantha's brown eyes. Her own blue ones were filled with curiosity on the subject, and she wanted to learn more about it. She planned to ask questions, or at least the basic rules in basketball, just so she can be familiar with the said sport. Basketball was sounded and felt foreign to both ears and tongue of hers, what's next if she would see an actual game of it? Artemis took a second before she could ask away, not planning to even hide her curiosity. She wanted to know about the scenery if ever she's watched a game of basketball. Quidditch was the most famous sport in the magical world where the Jacksons resided, but Artemis could not help but just ask this girl beside her. Her mother haven't even told her anything about it! Artemis' blue eyes were filled with excitement when the Ravenclaw spoke the word of her favorite hobby, Quidditch. "How about the hoops? You mean, they have a Quaffle too?" Interrogated the petite blonde, asking away with her body slightly leaned forward to her side where the other witch was sitting. In the Slytherin team, Artemis mistakenly took the role of being a Chaser, even if she got wanted the position to be Keeper. Unfortunately, the president of Heta Omega, Kendra Snow, was better than the second year. All these years, she wanted a game. Maybe when Snow leaves Hogwarts, then it'll be mine Artemis thought.

Sam didn’t really know what to say if Artemis asked her more about basketball. She was no basketball expert. But she has to admit, she does know some facts about it but only a few since she doesn’t really like sports. Even though, this topic isn’t really her thing, she tried to put up with it since she doesn’t want to go back to the bruise thing which in fact doesn’t hurt anymore except to move and to touch. Basketball never entered Sam’s list of things that interests her. Usually, whenever her male cousins and her dad plays or watches basketball and she’s forced to watch them or the TV, she just finds a book and reads it or maybe just sleep. Artemis looked like she’d never heard of the sport before but it’s normal for her, being a Half-Blood and all. Sam winced at the thought of this. She doesn’t really like talking about things she doesn’t know, Artemis on the other hand looked eager to know more. Sam sat up straight and looked around the room and removed the brown hair that was blocking her eyes from doing so. Then, Artemis asked her if the sport they were currently conversing have hoops or Quaffle. “No it doesn’t have any. It has these baskets that have holes in its bottom that players shoot into so they can gain scores. If I’m not mistaken, I think it’s called a ring.” She explained. Wow, Sam thought. That information just occurred to her so she isn’t really sure but wherever that information came from, Sam was glad. Sam tried to touch her bruise to feel if it is still painful. When she touched it the pain started flowing from her veins again. Bad idea, she thought, accompanied by an obvious scowl that interprets the hurt that she felt.

The sport called, 'Basketball' was something that was just in Artemis' mind after all the events that happened between them. The small accident that occurred slightly faded from her memory, because of her excitement taking over. The hallway that they were in was silent and only their voices were echoing through the corridor. Even their mumbles would be probably overheard by someone if they continued talking to one another through the whole day until dinner comes. Artemis did not care at all, since what they were talking about was a type of sport she never heard of in her whole short lifetime. Quidditch was the only heated topic that she was eager to get into, besides from telling others the pain that she experiences in Potions class because of its such complex lessons. "Meaning, one point per shoot?" Artemis asked, with a small frown as she tried to catch up with all the information. She still could not picture the game though in her own thoughts, but she could probably ask Alliyah, the expert in all those muggle things.

With completely forgetting what happened, Artemis watched as Sam's hand sneaked away to feel if it was still tender enough to have pain in it. Artemis watched as the pain shoot through the body of Sam, causing her to scowl that meant the pain was still there, unfortunately. The Slytherin looked Samantha, while she recalled their talk about it. "It's your call. The Hospital Wing is just there nearby. I can walk you there." Artemis gave the other girl a look of kindness, while she thought of what Samantha's response would be. There was a fat chance that Sam would avoid her statement again, and she'd change the subject once more. Or, irritation could already reach her until she could get a little impatient with the small blonde. Artemis looked at Samantha, searching in her eyes whether she should already stand up and prepare for flight towards the Hospital Wing.

Okay so, Sam wasn't really enjoying the new topic. Sure, she enjoyed her previous comment but what if Artemis asked more about it? Artemis looked like she was enjoying the topic though. Good for her, Sam thought. Sam isn't really what people calls "sportsman". Yes, she adored quidditch in her freshman year but that interest was lost when she discovered a new interest which is reading and writing novels. People might find Sam's change quite short, she doesn't care as long as she's happy about it. Artemis looked as if she was excited about basketball. Sam doesn't really know why but she has some guesses and she would like to keep them to herself since she isn't sure if someone or somebody will agree with her. Sam thought deeply when Artemis asked her if it's one point per shoot. Sam forgot if it is. Although, she remembered a small bit of information about it. All she needs to do is to dig for that information right into her mind. After a few seconds of digging and teeth gnashing, Sam finally remembered. "Uh, I think it depends on the shooting range. There is a place where basketball games take place and I think it is called Basketball Court. The court has lines and stuff like that, that are plastered on the floor. I think if the player shoots in the lines forming a circle near the ring, it's a free throw I think, the point'll be counted as one point. That is if the player wouldn't miss the ring. Whereas, if the player will dunk or maybe shoot farther away in the ring, the point will be counted as two but if the player will shoot farther away than the range of the second point shooting, the point will be counted as three." She explained. She's not quite sure if what she is explaining is the truth but as far as she can remember, it is. "The game also has four quarters meaning four quarters per game. Of course, the players have to rest since playing basketball can be pretty exhausting and after the resting, the game will start once more but not back to zero but to their current scores. I think it's 12 minutes per quarter. Once the fourth quarter time finishes, the team who has the highest score wins but if the fourth quarter time finishes and both the team has a tie and over time will occur and once the over time time finishes, the highest pointed team will win. That barely happens but I guess I should still inform you so you can understand it better" Sam explained once more. "Maybe later. My bruise doesn't hurt that much except to touch." She said. Sam was sure her bruise would feel much better if it would be given some more time to heal by itself.

Artemis was not really getting the whole topic, but she decided to show her curiosity instead of her confusion in regards to that unfamiliar subject. With all the rules that Samantha has spoken about, she was pretty much unsure on what to say, because of millions of comments that she could provide, in so much many ways. Maybe her questions were even not understandable and there was a fat chance that Samantha would also be puzzled by her. Artemis managed to bob her head up then down, giving the Ravenclaw a nod after with all she has said. Basketball was interesting, yet it was harder to understand compared to Quidditch. Quidditch was easy, because of the hoops, the balls and the point system. That was all she really needed to do. "You play?" Asked the young blonde, wanting to know whether she has experienced it or not. She was one curious Slytherin when it came to sports because of its intricate subject and the enjoyable atmosphere when she watches it. "Naturally, of course." The response of the Slytherin was pretty making her mark that it was obvious that the bruise would naturally feel pain when touched by anything and anyone.

Artemis looked as if she has this thick list of questions to ask. Sam nervously gulped at the sight of this. She didn't really want to answer further questions about the game. She, herself hadn't really understand most of her words but she kept on talking, anyways. Sam wasn't really convince while Artemis nod at every word she says that she thoroughly understands it. If the situation was the opposite and Artemis was the one who was explaining, Sam would definitely be curious also. It just depends on the mood since if Sam was in a good mood she'll definitely understand and learn faster. "No. I just observe" Sam said, shaking her head when Artemis asked her if she plays. This was true. She doesn't even know how to dribble for Pete's sake. Her cousin, Hank taught her many times though but sadly, he always catches Sam in her worse mood. The bruise topic was starting again. It was like a Phoenix that once dies and borns again only with a different reason since their topic was born by Sam's stupidness and Phoenixes were born by the ashes. "I guess" Sam replied, flatly.

Artemis' high hopes vanished when the Ravenclaw replied back. She wanted someone as a best friend, preferably a female and contains the same hobbies and interests as her. It would maybe make the best buddy, despite all those ups and downs when it came to friendship. Artemis was rather fond of the Ravenclaw house, and that was her second option of entering besides from Slytherin. There was something she liked about it, but she had no idea what. Artemis nodded sadly and slowly, while she was still trying to get over the idea of giving this sport a shot, probably with her father. The Slytherin also tried to hide a smile from Samantha, and successfully did it by just turning her head to see if anyone was there, watching them suspiciously. Darkness, blood and lack of company were her greatest fears, and she hated it when she remembered those three things. She stuck her blonde head as she looked to see if anyone was there. There was a rustle from the wind, but nothing came about. Artemis gladly relaxed and rested her back by leaning in.

Sam could feel the essence of awkwardness suddenly filling in again. She knows she had to suggest a topic that is an interesting one since she didn't want their whole conversation to go to waste just because they don't know what to say or tell each other. Sam thought deeply in hopes to find something interesting to brought up. Artemis seems to be interested in sports. Sam studied Artemis's interest intensely. Since she loves sports it would be nice to brought up basketball, tennis and other sports to her but since she isn't really that familiar with the Muggle sports Sam thought she'd make a go with the Magical sports. She only knew one sport and that is Quidditch so she didn't have any choice but to brought it up. "So, do you like Quidditch?" She asked, lamely.

Artemis' thoughts wandered by itself once more, giving her the chance to actually flood her mind with billions of questions that she craved to be answered. Her mind still had the words of basketball in it, and she did like it. Sports were something that made her keep her sanity and help her to build a fit body for a woman. She sighed as she thought of all the questions that still entered her brain, overloading with questions that she did not even though whether it was answerable or not. Within the family, she unfortunately hasn't really inherited the brains of her mother nor her father. Almost everything went to her fellow Gryffindor sibling but she really did not mind about it. To get a high grade, she'd really do anything except for entering a dark room involving blood. The blonde grew tired of filling her brain with questions and turned to her companion's direction as she heard her voice speak out. Instantly, blue eyes sparked with excitement and happiness. "Absolutely. I play. It's been my addiction ever since I was probably around, seven." She replied with a grin on her semi pale features. It was a good subject, she admits and she would love to keep that conversation flowing. Hell, Quidditch was something she would never give up on. It was obviously the only sport that was really meant for wizards and witches, because of its magical rules with brooms, Quaffles, snitches, etc. It was a shame that the muggles didn't have this sport, since some longed to fly on the skies. Artemis smirked inside. She was only twelve, and she has been already taught to take to the skies. Meanwhile, those muggles had absolutely no idea about the sport that went by the name of Quidditch.

Sam started poking her arm. For no particular reason to be honest. She just doesn't have anything in mind to brought up. She just wished Artemis liked Quidditch so that their awkwardness would disappear. Sam looked at the same direction Artemis was looking. She seemed to be waiting for someone because she kept on staring at the empty space. "Waiting for someone?" Sam curiously asked. Sam was glad that the basketball topic laid off since she don't have any more to say about it. Sam's face lightened when Artemis's face sparked with excitement and happiness. Sam smiled at herself for a job well done of finding a topic that interest her companion. "That's great then" She said with a friendly grin. Even though she's not really familiar of the game, she wasn't bored about conversing involving it. "So, you're probably a member of the Slytherin Quidditch team now, huh?" She asked.

The silence bothered Artemis and she busied herself by looking at the empty corridor repeatedly. It made her busy in a strange way, though she did not really care. The afternoon sun was almost shining brightly before it even sunk somewhere between the skies. The blonde ignored the heat that it was emitting. Her pale skin might bear those itchy marks once more, and she hated that. For some reason, her skin was totally sensitive to the heat of the sun. Whenever she'd take a trip outside the grounds of Hogwarts, she'd always stay under shade and make sure the temperature under there was cool enough for her not to perspire that much. Her nails were not sharp as before so it would be damn useless if ever she would just scratch it most of the time. She stared at it with a look of blankness, thinking if ever it would serve her right if she would get those strange allergic results later on. The sound of Samantha's voice interrupted her and Artemis quickly let down her wrist where he nails could be found. "No, not really. Just checking if someone would pass by randomly." Her tone was the same as her expression, which was casual and her shoulders made a soft shrug. Really, there was no exact reason on why she was looking at the empty corridor every after ten seconds. The silence just bugged her, and she really did not appreciate it when it was dominating over her.

Artemis nodded softly with a small grin hanging on those pink lips of hers. She always adored the subject of Quidditch, since there was a lot of necessary things to talk about. The blonde had no difficulty in talking about it with boys, but it was sometimes difficult with girls who had no idea with what Quidditch was about. Those muggle females were some trouble with her, but she was glad to hear that there were some people who joined their house team even though their blood was the most inferior of all. She had no idea if it was true and it would be best to keep it to herself. "Yeah. I'm a Chaser though I wanted to get the position of the Keeper. I'm still getting used to it, but I'll try out again next year for the position. I don't know which between the two, so I'll see first." Artemis was someone who was picky with what she wanted to get along with and so same went with Quidditch. The position of being a Chaser was rather perplexing and she dealt with it pretty bad. Her grades slipped down a bit compared to her first year. The blonde didn't mind, thinking that last year was the year wherein she was just completely interested with magic. Her second year was caught by the Quidditch sport, so she really did not mind about her studies.

Samantha nodded as Artemis explained why she was staring at the empty space just a few steps away from her. That made things clear that Artemis was also feeling the same awkwardness Sam felt but she seemed to like Quidditch so Sam just hoped that it would result to a nice conversation. Sam adored quidditch back in the years that she did not found her true hobby so she was a hundred percent sure she would be able to understand all the things that Artemis would comment about it. The truth is, Sam dreamed of being in the Ravenclaw Quidditch team back when she was a freshman. She really loved the game and reads tons of books about it too. Unfortunately, her dream had been crushed when she decided to give up. When she saw the actual game itself, she got surprised and scared of what might happen to her on the field. Yes, Sam resembled a coward that day but she did not care since she found her destiny, which is a future novelist. "Well, good luck on trying out next year. I hope you get the position that you want" Sam said, flashing Artemis an encouraging smile.

The fear of silence was quite strange for the young Slytherin to think about. She knew nobody in her whole life that was terrified and felt strange whenever she or he was alone with the silence as their company. It made her feel panicky whenever there was silence and darkness around her. The blonde was just glad and that the Ravenclaw was beside her, totally beside her, body and soul. If no person or any living thing was next to her, she would already head to the dungeons, fearing that someone might be close to her. The Slytherin also never dared to set a foot in the Forbidden Forest during the evening, because of its strange creatures that resided in the deepest part of the forest. Everything there was something horrible for Artemis, including the dirt on the ground. Artemis had no fondness towards nature and she would never have any. Her mind bugged her to tell her fellow student about the kind of fear that she had, but she decided to pass at first. She barely knew this person and she knew that trust could not be gained as easy as others would think off. Artemis nodded in reply, with the same flash of a smile on her lips, minus the encouraging feeling. She thanked Samantha that way, knowing that the Ravenclaw would get it. "Would you like me to accompany you to your common room? I mean, we've been here for about an hour. It maybe is one o'clock already..." She took herself as a kind Slytherin and smirked inwardly. She would never make Samantha see that kind of smirk she thought of doing. Artemis looked at her in a way that people would wait for the other person's response. Yet, she waited for it even though it will take Samantha Madison to reply for ten minutes.

Quidditch was something Artemis liked and Sam was glad that she does. Sam can sense the triumphant feeling Artemis will feel when she gets the position she wants. Of course, when she tries hard she could achieve any dream whatsoever she wants to acclaim. This was one of the things Sam's mother always tell her. Back in Sam's younger years, being a violin virtuoso always had been her dream. She was enrolled for violin lessons back when she was still living in Canada. She moved, however because of her parents' divorce and therefore, her dream of becoming a virtuoso was crushed into pieces when she suddenly moved to New York with her mother. The magical sport called Quidditch, though revived Sam. The day she set foot on the lands of U.S.A she stopped believing in her dreams because she knew they would be crushed anyway so what's the point. She was ignoring all enthusiasm her mother was bestowing her until her cousin (from her mother's side) and told her all about the magical sport. Her dreams started coming back again as her cousin went on, it was crushed again, however, when she decided that writing novel is her new dream now. She didn't feel bad about it because she knew she had found her destiny. Sam smiled back when Artemis smiled at her. She knew that this was Artemis's way of thanking so why not return the favor? "Sure" Sam simply replied as she stood slowly and grabbed her sling bag.

Together with her companion, Artemis stood up and dusted of the invisible dirt on her pants. Her cardigan was also strapped to her body firmly, even though the day was not as windy as the previous ones. It gave her outfit a sense of style and fashion, that was recommended by the people that surrounded her though mainly by her sibling. Artemis unconsciously placed both hands inside the pockets that were on both sides of her body and looked at Samantha unexpectedly. Her intense blue eyes were swirling with different sorts of mixed emotions. It was difficult to identify yet Artemis did not really expect her Ravenclaw friend to just look at it with some sort of puzzlement and all that. Taking a small step to her left, she stupidly frowned. Merlin, she was a Slytherin. She certainly had no single idea on where to go or else, she would lead Samantha to the wrong way. Artemis never heard rumors about the Ravenclaw common room and she did not even suspect that it was located somewhere. She had a strange and stupid feeling that it was found in the first floor, just near the Slytherin's territory, though she was not so sure about it. Artemis looked at Samantha with that same puzzled frown with her mind, debating on where to go and why. "Sorry, but, which floor is the Ravenclaw common room?" She asked with a small hint in her voice about her clueless mind. The Slytherins and Ravenclaws were not rivals. In fact, the Slytherins considered the Ravenclaws as their brothers because of their common personality such as determination and ambitiousness. The blonde still had no preference about the Ravenclaws except for her sharp mind, but she would love to find out whether the Eagles were as much as she expected.

Sam stood still while looking at the view behind them as Artemis stood up. It looked as if it was going to be sunset soon. Sam winced at the thought of it. Man, she still had loads of homework to do. She opened her bag to see if the book she'd borrowed on the Library earlier was in her bag and indeed it was. Sam breathed deeply in relief. All she needs to do now is to get back to her dorm and finish her assignment before she falls asleep again. After Sam closed her bag, something occurred to her. And that something was the idea of Artemis not knowing where her common room is located. Well, unless she uncovered a secret about it or something but Sam barely believes that because she knew that the Eagles aren't idiot enough to share a private information. Sam looked at Artemis carefully in hopes to see if she had a any idea of where the Ravenclaw Common Room is. And Sam was right. She sensed Artemis' lack of information. Sam smiled at her when she asked where the Ravenclaw Common Room is. "Uh, it's located on the the Towers. You can drop me off by the North Tower" She said, flashing Artemis a smile that she hope would make Artemis feel that Sam understands what she feel. Sam,herself doesn't know where the Slytherin Common Room is and if she'd ask Artemis the same question she'd definitely go clueless.

Artemis gave her companion a little credit as she said where the location of the Ravenclaw Common Room was. She never knew where it was nor did she care. She knew where the Gryffindor Common Room was because of her sister's influence to her. The Hufflepuff common room was also familiar to her yet she still was not so sure and exact whether the floor that they were currently on was the residence of the Badgers. Shrugging to her own thoughts, the blonde began to make sure that her cardigan was still in tact and not rumpled as they were sharing their own thoughts and conversations with one another. It was fun, actually, but Artemis could not help but just smile at the day today. However despite the interesting events, she still had other matters to run. There was Quidditch and some assignments but she focused first on the ending of this little event. It was a long day, really. And Artemis was exhausted with all the worrying that she had poured on Samantha Madison. "The North Tower? Well that's - unexpected." The second year had been in the North Tower for countless times and it really was a good place to dwell in. The Tower was usually isolated when she would visit there and she never knew that there was still a hidden room that would can be found there, somewhere. She found the Dungeons, surprisingly comforting too because of the isolated place and the cool everywhere. It was said to be near the lake and Artemis, for a second year, have not yet discovered if it was a truth or a just a rumor.

Slowly, Artemis walked sided with Samantha as she held both flaps of her cardigan. She never realized why it was draped over her body. It was to add style, she thought unconsciously as she walked with the Ravenclaw. Cardigans were something Artemis liked wearing even though it added warmth to her body temperature. The flats that she was wearing were silent and never clicked on the floor, unless Artemis would let it so. "I bet it's nice in your common room." Said the blonde monotonously. The imagination of it was a bright room where the air can be felt anywhere. The Slytherin Common Room used the lake's coolness to cool it off. It was rather cold and dark in their common room with emerald colours almost hanging everywhere. The sofas and the banners had a shade of the Slytherin colour and Artemis had grown to be fond of it. Very fond of it, actually. "Is it airy there?" She questioned again. The blonde had nothing against the house of the Eagles. In fact, she found their company okay compared to her fellow Slytherins.

OOCOut of Character:
I'll do the thread in the tower with the conversation still flowing, if you don't mind.
