Kida had been sitting lazily infront of her make up desk in her bedroom, Scarlet was at a play school learning some Italian so Kida had nothing to do, her hair was freshly chopped short which she trusted her Cousin Aeon to do for her since Koaru had made it choppy and she couldn't stand trying to hide it much longer, she would sit infront of the mirror for hours trying to play with her hair which wasn't there, it was up to her shoulders in less than a month and it wouldn't take long for it to be back to its original length, especially with some magic helping it along.

Listening to the cool sea breeze flow through her window in her house in Tuscany she tapped her face, she had recently gone moved to Italy for a while to get away from the New Zealand Media but she missed New Zealand terribly, Kida had decided she needed a fresh start in life and that was why she went to the Charmers and asked if she could buy the Team off them, Kida had been waiting for a reply for weeks now when she heard a sound echo through the cool late afternoon air, she got up and saw a Black and night own flying towards the House, Kida opened the window and Notte her owl flew in she took a step back while the Owl gained its balance and settle down, it had a letter in its beak and Kida leant forward to pick it up but the Owl pulled away, Kida pulled a shocked expression and tapped the bird on the head and gave it a scratch behind the neck 'I will turn you into a Teapot Notte' she warned as she pulled the letter away from the owl and let it fly out the window again.
Kida left the bedroom and studied the letter for a moment before walking onto her deck and sitting on one of the couches and opening the letter.

Kida almost dropped the paper in shock with what she read, Kida stood up and ran through the house downstairs to Aeon's room, she half stumbled through the door and grinned at aeon like a Cheshire cat 'You're going to be so jealous' she said holding her arms up against the door frame to keep her balance and catch her breath.

Eustacia lightly brushed a gloved hand across the varnished study desk, particles of dust sticking to the dark fabric. The room she stood in was a mess, clothes strewn across the floor, the bed unmade, books open and crumpled in a heap in one corner. She picked one up. The cover held a strip of paper at the top, reading "Flourish and Blotts - Obsidan Harbour", the popular bookstore in New Zealand. It was a trashy fiction novel about a group of young wizards fighting practitioners of the "dark arts" and saving the world. She scoffed. "That kind of thing doesn't happen in reality. Too much inspiration after the Dark Lord's defeat. " She murmured, more to herself than the wizard with her. Varian disapppeared around a corner, letting himself look around the home they'd technically broken into. The witch returned the book carelessly to its pile and continued to scan around the unkempt room, which belonged to her grandson, Aeon.

It had been irritating for Eustacia at first. Traveling around Italy with her daughter, Katherine, as well as her own sisters grandchild, Varian. It was Katherine who'd wanted the trip as a break. But for Eu, it made sense that her daughters ex-husband would have returned to his parents birthplace with his son, Sern, after Stace had threatened to kill him. The faintest idea that they should find Sern had come to mind. Though she had thrown out his twin, Aeon, after he refused to have anything to do with her when she attempted to get him to join the Scitorari, the two were so connected that if they got a hold of one and convinced him, the other would soon follow. Both Eustacia and Katherine knew there was something about the twins they could use. Sern had always been dark and would suit Eustacia's Necromancers, but Aeon was definitely a lot more powerful and a definite necessity. It just angered her to not have an extent of control over him.

It wasn't until they were in Milan however, that Eustacia believed she had finally found the twin she was looking for. The unmistakable blonde hair and blue eyes, he looked so much like his parents. But it had come as a surprise when Katherine informed her that the twin was Aeon, who should have been in New Zealand, not Italy. "How can you tell?" she'd asked curiously. Identical twins like the Summers boys were just that, identical. Katherine however, pointed out a young, dark haired woman walking with him. The boys cousin, Kida. Professorial Quidditch player who had recently been kidnapped by a man Eustacia knew of well. In the paper, Aeon had been mentioned as being with Kida. It seemed they were still together.

A quick change of appearance and well placed enchanted glass eye later and Eustacia could follow where the boy went. The glass worked as a two way reflection, showing the other what each could see. It wasn't until a day later that she and Varian apparated directly into Summers' bedroom for a surprise visit. Maybe in the last few years he'd changed his mind on his own.

Loud footsteps thundered from upstairs. Eustacia glanced toward the ceiling, where the sound echoed and grew in volume as someone stumbled toward the room. A female face appeared in the doorway, looking excited and out of breath. One of the filthy mudbloods from Alexanders side of the family who hadn't realised who was actually in the room. Eustacia smiled. "My dear, I don't think there's anything you have that I'd be in the slightest bit envious of. I'm here to see my grandson. Could you tell me where he is?" she asked, taking a step toward the younger woman. Her dress fluttered at her heels and she held her staff in one hand, fingertips loosely wound against the soft wood. "I would say I don't mean to intrude, but that would be a lie. You really should learn to care more for your safety and possessions. We wouldn't want someone unwanted inviting themselves in, would we?"

Kida paused briefly when she saw a woman sitting in her cousins room, she ran through the situation in her head, all the doors were secure and windows so the only way is Magic. The woman spoke and Kida knew who she was, Aeon and Serns Grandmother Eustacia. Kida leaned against the door frame when Eustacia started talking to her and telling her to learn to care about her safety she scoffed 'Oh Eustacia, I don't want to sound like a b*tch but that would be a lie, Get out of my house and if you want to see your Grandson maybe consider that he doesn't want to see you' she said with a look on her face that was broadcasting as a warning.

Kida took two steps into the room to stand to face Eustacia, Kida being naturally tall was taller than the woman before her 'Would you like to leave with Dignity or shall i escort you out myself' Kida lay out a thin warning, Eustacia may have tried to tell her to safe guard her house but she didn't need it just yet when she was more than capable of expelling any unwanted visitors that may show up. Kida put on hand on her hip pocket and dug her thumb in and waited for Eustacia to leave, Kida's Hazel eyes had slowly started to change to a gold with bright strikes of green through them. Kida's shoulder length brown hair had slowly developed Black streaks through it she waited for Eustacia because Kida had no problem with Dragging her our by her ankle.

"Language, dear." The older woman tsked, shaking her head in mock disappointment. She had only expected Aeon to be around, not the incompetent dirt of Alex's side. Eustacia would tolerate Kida, for now. After all, apparently it was her home and not her grandsons. How disappointing. "My. I'm surprised a person of your...stature could even own such a house. Pity, how much is wasted on the filth of our society." her voice was thick with disdain and genuine concern, as if talking to a known criminal who had just been pardoned. But then she smiled and turned away, looking out toward the window and into the cloudy sky. "It isn't about whether or not Aeon wants to see me. He won't have much of a choice. I have a lot I want to discuss with him." she stated, though she knew it wasn't any use even bothering to say a word to the younger woman. She was too stubborn and impulsive.

Eustacia looked back as Kida entered the room and not-so-subtly tried to use her height as a method of intimidation. Then came the measly threat. Eustacia laughed derisively, her eyes narrowing as she looked straight into Kidas, which had subtly seemed to change colour. "Dear, dear Kida. Why would I leave when I only just arrived? Now, I'd love to continue our chat but I have someone more important to see." her voice was still full of amusement as she stepped around the other witch and left the room with a call of 'Aeon'.

Kida felt her anger rise but she tried to control it, it was not time to lose her tempter over something so trivial, the woman seemed to think she had right to be here and Kida knew that she would be mistaken rather quickly if she continued to act the way she was. Kida brushed her hair out of her face and allowed the woman to walk past her for a moment before she thrust her hand out, she watched roots and vines sprout from the wooden floor boards and lash themselves around the woman's ankles just up to under her knee's. Kida walked out of the room and stood in front of Eustacia 'Maybe you didn't understand me Eustacia, You are not welcome in my house, and you will leave' she said plainly, she didn't have time for games, Scarlet needed to be picked up in an hour so she had to get rid of Eustacia who was imposing on her time, she had to make plans for the Charmers as well.

The Young Witch focused on her eyes for a moment and they cycled back to Hazel, Kida flicked her wrist and the roots and vines tightened their grip, she wanted to see if she could cause this woman pain, the pain like she endured under the hands of Koaru Koshiba her eyes transfigured again darker but before she could get trapped in her power lust she realized what she was doing and stopped. Collecting herself Kida smiled 'Now I'm sure you have no trouble leaving how you came in' she said 'Now in case you don't know, the front door is how normal people leave a house like this' the Brunette waved one hand towards the door which opened for Eustacia 'Don't trip down the stairs on your way out because you will receive no Kindness from this house hold' she said waiting to see how Eustacia would leave 'And someone of my Stature has two houses and a Quidditch Team, and what do you have?' she said asking a rhetorical question 'A Dead Husband, a disgraced Daughter who had children with a Muggle born and now you're desperately grasping at t he last hope you have of trying to look powerful and that's my Cousin.. Nice seeing you again Eustacia, don't come back any time soon' she said as she turned around and walked towards the stairs.

Aeon wiped the buttery blade against the slice of bread he held and pressed it back down onto his sandwich, the lettuce and cheese crunching from the pressure, and briefly slid the smooth side of the metal across his tongue to take off the remaining mixture of spreads and ingredients before throwing the knife into the sink with the rest of the utensils he'd used. He snapped his fingers at it, softly muttering an incantation which was barely audible over his earphones. At once, each item frothed up, covered in soapy foam which cleaned them completely, then floated into their respective places in the drawers. The blonde wizard grinned and picked up his plate, ready to walk out when he heard his cousins voice float in. Was she talking to him? No one else was home. He touched the music player clipped to his hip, adjusting the volume by lowering it a few bars to hear her better. By what he made out, she was talking to someone else. He shrugged, guessing she was just on the phone and continued out through the dining room and down the hall to his bedroom.

Kida's voice grew louder, and another was just as clear as hers. Definitely not a phone call. Maybe she invited Eden over. he wondered as he came to his bedroom door. He stopped. Curling around near the door frame were green, plant-like tendrils, while inside stood his cousin and another woman. Aeon pushed his earphones down around his neck. "Kida? What are you doing to my bedroom? Get out!" he huffed, hoping she wasn't trying to get him back for his tendency to animate their household items. The vines turned black and shriveled to the floor and Kida moved aside, giving Aeon a view of the stranger. His mouth dropped open.
"Eustacia? What- Why is she here?"

Eustacia felt the plants crawl up around her legs and grimaced. How utterly vile. she thought, taking in a deep breath. She closed her eyes and counted to ten in her head. The wretched worm was blabbing on all the while about how she didn't want her there and so on. She might as well have been speaking in another language. "You talk too much, Miss Frost." she murmured and tapped the bottom of her staff against the floorboards once, sending dark sparks into the plant-life as they began to tighten. Their lush greens and earthy browns faded to dull greys and blacks, leaves crackling and turning to ash, along with the rest of the roots and vines. The woman stepped gently out of the blackened design around her, while Kida took on a condescending tactic. How cute.

Eustacia looked back into the eyes of her extended relative, who was still carrying on. The dark witch's facial expression took on that similar of an adult talking to an infant. "Again with the talking. Though, may I point out that your...godfather, was it? Died and left you his home? You didn't exactly buy that one yourself, now. I would take a wild guess and say that you didn't pay for this one either. As for your Quidditch team, I'm sure that must be quite a great achievement for you. Possibly the only thing you've accomplished for yourself in life. Personally I don't quite care for the sport. Now, for your jab at my deceased husband, you should look deeper into his death. They never did find out what, or who had killed him. And my daughter, I assure you, was no doubt bewitched all those years by your pathetic uncle." Eustacia finished as Aeon came up to the door. So he was here. The older woman's eyes shone and with the merest nudge in Kida's direction, she mentally casted out Langlock, the tongue jinx. "Aeon! Such a pleasure to see you again. You've grown since I last saw you! Why don't we catch up, hm?"

Kida crinkled her nose 'It's Ms Frost' she said correcting Eustacia, she wasn't a five year old girl she had a proper title and someone such as Eustacia who seemed to be brought up in the "Proper" way should know how to use it.
The Woman before her used her staff to counteract her spell the vines turned black and shriveled the leaves crunched and formed ash piles on the floor. Waving her hand the dust spun into a spiral and siphoned out the door. The Brunettes eyes channeled on the woman who seemed to act like she was Perfect but not know when she wasn't wanted 'Eustacia, are you hard of hearing?' she asked, the woman still wasn't grasping the concept that she wasn't welcome but again Eustacia seemed to just ignore her and continue onto her own response, Kida wondered if she could call the Muggle Polizia in on this, Eustacia wouldn't like being plastered on the front of a Muggle News paper for Breaking and Entering.

'I inherited my houses, that does not mean i did not earn them none the less, i still upkeep them and keep both of them clean but i wouldn't go far from saying that a Priss such as yourself doesn't work hard at all, Let me guess you have someone to clean your houses for you because you're too busy flaunting around trying to pull your family back together because you're lonely.' Kida put her hands on her hips, she wasn't in the mood to keep up with Eustacia's wants and needs. Kida rolled her eyes 'Oh I should look deeper into his husbands Death, maybe you were just his little play thing and you were just after his money. Would you like me to look into your Husbands Death, i know a few people around the Ministry' Kida chuckled to herself and ran her tongue over the bottom of her teeth. Kida heard something metallic make a clink against the sink in the Kitchen and she turned around from the stairs towards the Kitchen, she passed in front of Eustacia when she saw Aeon and he told her off for being in his Room, Kida walked around Eustacia 'My House all my rooms Aeon, Get back into the bloody kitchen' she said but they had both already spotted each other, Kida grabbed Aeon's shoulder and dug her grip in hard to steer him back into the Kitchen 'Do not speak with her Aeon, She is...' Kida paused she felt her tongue seal itself to the roof of her mouth, Kida put one hand to her throat and shut her eyes trying to take a deep breath through her nose.
Kida let go of Aeons shoulder and turned around to Eustacia giving her a cold smile. Kida focused on her Animagus form and Transfigured into a Large Black wolf, Typically the size one would class as an Alpha in the pack, White fur wound its way up her front left paw but the rest of her was jet black and her Bright Golden eyes with green streaks through them stood out. Kida growled viciously at the woman, she had given her 3 minutes mentally to leave before she lost a limb.

Aeon stuttered, lips moving, trying to form ten different questions at once. Why was Eustacia in their home? And why was Kida talking to her? Had she brought her here? Aeon felt a surge of uncertainty as Kida tried to shoo him away, but the white haired witdch, his own grandmother, greeted him with almost convincing warmth. The last time they'd spoken, they had a disagreement and he'd been forced to live by himself for a few years. "Eustacia? Why are you here? Whats going on?" he asked, eyes wide and shifting between the two. Kida spoke but was cut off mid sentence. It took him a moment to realise she'd been jinxed, as she clutched her throat. Another moment later and she'd burst into her animagus form, a large wolf.

Why was everything so goddamn confusing.

The young wizard took a few safe steps away from the both of them. He was shocked that his cousin would transform in front of Eustacia. Aeon preferred to keep his ability a secret. "Ki, what are you doing? Everyone just stop for a second, please."

Eustacia raised her eyebrow at the young imbecilic witch, raving on about how Eustacia didn't work hard, probably had someone cleaning her home and that she was lonely and trying to pull her family back together, as well as some other comment on her being her deceased husbands play thing. For a second she thought that there might be something wrong with the girls mind. Did she really believe those things? it was like she'd taken everything about her and said the exact opposite. "Do you actually have any idea of what you're talking about or are you just mad?" Eustacia asked, posing it as a completely serious question, but the jinx had taken effect and Kida could say no more. "Well then, I would say that's an improvement." she laughed and looked back at her grandson. "You and I should have a talk, my dear. Would you care to join me elsewhere?" she extending her gloved hand, the other remaining entwined around her staff.

Everything took a turn when Kida revealed her ability, becoming a relatively large wolf. That definitely wasn't high on Eustacia's list of expectations. "...How interesting. You have actually managed to become an animagus..." she trailed off, eyes flicking over the mudbloods fur, her ears, her tail. Unconsciously, the womans fingers trailed down the dark hawthorn wood of her stave before gripping it firmly. If the girl thought that changing into the beast she was could scare the Necromancer, she had another thing coming. Anyone could predict the outcome of a fight between a wolf and a witch. There were hundreds of spells she could use before Kida would be able to reach her. From behind the wolf, Aeon pleaded that they all stop. His facial expression showed how lost he was. "You're right, Aeon. Everyone should just stop." she agreed, eyes still on the animagus. She lifted the stave from the ground a few inches and dropped it back onto the wood. Impedimentia. She incanted mentally. The spell rippled out across the floor and rushed toward both wizard and wolf.

Varian strolled away to explore the rest of the house without a second thought for Eustacia or her reasons for being here, leaving her to pace around the room. Had he not been accompanying her in this so-called breaking and entering, he would have gladly been exploring the Italian landscape with his grandmother Josephine. Surely she has a decent reason for being in someone else's house, he thought to himself. She wouldn't lie to her own sister by saying she needs my help for a quick task, would she? A second thought barged it's way onto his mind, as he gazed around at the aging architecture. For what purpose would Eustacia need someone like himself? Varian usually kept to himself, retracted, silently entertaining himself with his own thoughts. He didn't need the company of others for comfort. No one, that is, except for Sootie, his cat, which he lovingly brought everywhere with him. Perched on his shoulder like a faithful parrot, he lightly brushed her head as she purred into his ear.

Continuing to investigate the house they had allowed themselves into, glancing every now and then through the hallway, taking note of the fact this was not his home, and should the owner find him......What jinx would I use to make my escape?, he puzzled. The Trip Jinx would be his first choice, before bolting for an exit. He was never a fan of confrontation, deriving back to his preference to keep to himself. Or maybe I could go old school and use--. He heard voices. One was Eustacia, he knew this. But the others, he could not tell. One sounded like a young woman, the other a similarly aged man. He quickly made his way to the door, peering around the corner towards the source of the voices. They were coming from the same room he and Eustacia had parted ways. They were too muffled to make out, but he could definitely decipher a few words; Grandson, Kida, Ms Frost.

Who were these people? Was Kida the owner of the house? Varian had only ever heard that name from Quidditch. He tip-toed against the wall of the hallway to the room. The voices grew in volume. Sootie shook slightly against his collar. She was like him, never a fan of groups of people. He glanced into the room to see Eustacia standing across from a young man, faced by a massive black wolf. Sootie hissed suddenly, obviously frightened by the sight of the beast. 'Shhhh Sootie.....' Varian whispered to her. 'Eustacia, what's going on here? Who are these people? And why is that mutt here? You know how badly Sootie handles dogs'

Kida almost wanted to slap the plate when she saw that Aeon was again eating, she had only bought food the other day and Aeon had already devoured half of it. Aeon hadn't left like she said but he understood her predicament he asked everyone to stop for a moment but Kida knew that with this woman nothing would have stopped.

Kida sniffed the air and smelt someone else in the house, they soon appeared with a car perched on their shoulder, Hissing at Kida in her wolf form she snarled loudly and barked at the cat hoping to scare it away, The Boy looked oddly familiar she could sense his confusion in the situation, he was following Eustacia. The Boy called Kida a mutt she snarled at the boy for using such words in her house how ever she didn't have time to worry about that.
Using the wolf instincts that came along with her form she could sense the movement and emotions of the people in the room, Aeon seemed rather Hungry and slightly concerned with what was going on, The Old woman was masked she had another reason for being here and the Boy was confused and Concerned, obviously for the cat perched on his shoulder or rubbing up against his face. In a moment Kida sensed that Eustacia seemed to be surprised of Kida's ability and if she could she would have rolled her eyes at the woman, Eustacia exclaimed her surprise that Kida sensed not a moment later. Enjoying being able to feel the room Kida smelt some meat somewhere in the house that she yearned to go hunt out but she didn't have the time Eustacia's body changed slightly and Kida knew that she wanted to cast a spell and she wasn't going to allow it, Launching herself off her paws she charged at Eustacia but the spell hit her wolf form before she had a chance to reach the old witch. Kida felt her movement slow as if her joints were becoming stiff and solid.
The Black wolf snarled and barked loudly her form was very uncomfortable her muscles wanted to move faster than they were being allowed.

Aeon spun around as an additional voice flittered in, catching sight of yet another unwanted visitor to the house. "Did we leave a sign outside saying "Everyone welcome"? How many people are wandering around our home?" he asked, narrowing his eyes at the slightly older wizard. Wasn't he that awkward kid who he'd seen at a few family dinners years ago? He looked familiar, that second-cousin on his mothers side. Though the fact he acted like he owned the place really ticked the younger wizard off.
"This is mental. Who are you to ask who we are. You're the stranger here." Aeon retorted. He felt closed in, with the appearance of Eustacia and the other man. Behind him, Kida leapt at his grandmother, too late as a magical wave struck her and she slowed, almost to a complete stop in mid-air. Luckily for Summers, his cousins wolf body blocked off the spell hitting himself as well. He watched for a second as she hung uselessly in the air, probably surprised that her flawless plan of attacking a witch as a canine didn't work. "How you escaped a dark wizard, I'll never know." he breathed, quickly setting down the plate he held in one hand on top of his dresser whilst withdrawing his wand with the other. "This is getting out of hand. Everyone get out of my bedroom." He held up the wooden instrument at the dark haired boy with the cat. "Or I swear to god I'll turn this guy into a mouse. Cats love mice, right? That'll be amusing the watch, I'm sure." he said through gritted teeth. Once again, he reflected on what a big mistake living with Kida had been. Life was almost better when he lived alone, drunk and depressed.

Eustacia almost cackled as the hideous beast leaping toward her slowed in mid-air, moving at perhaps the pace of a snails crawl, if not slower. Kida definitely was not pleased and the dark witch felt a flush of satisfaction. "Oh, you ungrateful thing. Consider yourself lucky. This is rather generous of me." she laughed, her voice loud and full of malice. She side-stepped from Kida's course and turned her attention to Varian who had finally popped up out of the shadows with his little familiar, only to be threatened by Aeon. That was surprising.

"Wand down, child. Don't do anything you'll regret later. Why don't we talk outside, get some fresh air? It's far too stuffy in here." Eustacia suggested, then leaned in close to the suspended wolves ear at her side. "But that's only to be expected from your house, right?" she whispered, forcefully patting Kida's furry head. She stood back up and walked over to Aeon, gloved hand outstretched. With her other hand she gestured with her staff, releasing the wolf. "Just come with me. I want to have a small chat, nothing more. Trust me."

Varian was certain he knew the young man from somewhere, now that he had seen his face. 'That must be Alan--No, Adam? It definitely starts with A....', he pondered. He couldn't pick the name, but could definitely recognise him. He was family, or at least somewhat related to Varian. He could remember now, all those years ago, at the family gatherings, the small blond-haired boy that he could see down the table, seated near----'AEON!!', his mind suddenly sparked. That's where he had heard the name from. Varian imaginatively slapped his forehead for taking so long to remember his own extended family, but it had been so long since he had seen him, especially now that he was in his adulthood. Being the courteous type, he made to reintroduce himself to his cousin, but not before he had a wand directed at him, Aeon threatening to turn Varian into a meal for his own pet.

'Why don't you give that a shot, Goldielocks' Varian smirked, amused at Aeon's pitiful threat, but moderately crushed that his own cousin would threaten him, let alone barely recognise him. He could easily wave a quick disarm, leaving the boy hopelessly unarmed, or perhaps make use of his well-honed experience with jinxes. Yet, he simply shook it off and strolled into the room as if there was no wand pointed his way and no cousin wanting to transform him into vermin. Varian was not here to fight or get into a scuffle with his own cousin, and was certainly not intent on crippling him with a well-casted Jelly Brain Jinx.

Sootie had calmed down now that the wolf was hovering gracefully in midair, being of no danger now that it had become a fluffy baloon. But what was a wolf even doing in the house in the first place? Surely this wasn't the Kida he had heard of just before? 'So, anyone care to explain this whole situation to me?' he queried, unsure if he would get a straight answer from his Great Aunt, his cousin or even the wolf. He paused for a second, but recieved no answer. 'That's ok, I'm sure it'll pop up in due time.' Varian had only walked several steps before Eustacia released the wolf from the imaginary floating prison, then proceeded to Aeon, no doubt for the whole reason Varian was here for in the first place.

And yet, he still had no idea what was going on.....

The Situation was getting far too out of hand for her liking, Kida felt cool hands touch her fur and she wanted to instantly wash herself or shave her fur or something as if the touch was poison and contaminating her body. Transfiguring back the spell was no long cast upon her.
Kida pushed her brown hair out of her face and fixing her shirt. The Brunette smiled sweetly and blinked a few times. The boy who was unknown to her was standing near her and Kida ignored him as if he wasn't important 'Now My tolerance for this situation is getting rather low so....' Kida lashed out and grabbed the Shirt of the boy and tossed him roughly against the wall, Using her training she pressed one arm on his throat so with Pressure he wouldn't be able to breathe and placed her wand into his jaw digging in lightly forcing him to feel minimal pain, the boy looked Familiar but she hadn't recognized where from as of yet. 'Now lets sort this out now shall we'

The Witch looked over her shoulder at the old woman, she wasn't going to play any more games. Withdrawing the wand from the boys neck Kida tapped the wall and shards of wood and lightly the shards pressed against the boy's back. Vines shot out roughly making their way around the boy restraining him so he couldn't move. Kida kept on arm against his throat and put her wand back into his jaw.

Kida looked over her shoulder to Aeon and smiled 'I'll get to you later, Mister Negative' she said in referral to his comment on how she survived the Dark Wizard Koaru Koshiba. Kida turned her attention back to Eustacia 'Leave and i will send him after you've gone' she said to Eustacia, not giving him for Eustacia to rebuttal she pressed her wand into the boys neck. Kida still had some sense lingering of her wolf form and she knew who the boy was in front of her 'Varian and I need to talk'

Aeon exhaled slowly and let his wand falter, dropping slightly away from Varian and his cat. He supposed he wasn't enough of a threat to bother with, considering how unsure he seemed about everything happening. But the wizards idiotic "Goldilocks" comment almost fired him back up. Another few seconds and the intruder would have been a nice, fat mousy meal for his pet, if not for Kida's change back to normal and gung-ho fighting skills. Aeon didn't really think she was actually capable of physically defending herself until now, although when he thought about it, it made sense. He smiled to himself and let the fact that she was destroying his bedroom wall slide. After all, it was technically hers.

"Why you brought that little follower of yours, I could never guess." Aeon said, eyes back on Eustacia, her hand out for him to take. There was a slight pause while he thought about it, actually going with her, and his hand hovered in the air. "If talking to you will get you out of the house, then we'll talk. But you only have five minutes." he placed his hand in hers, feeling the soft fabric of her gloves brush against his skin. Kida would probably kill him for going with her, but if it was just outside, it couldn't be that bad. "I won't be long, Ki. Please, take my grandmothers companion somewhere else?" he asked, avoiding looking at the cracked wood she'd caused. Instead he stared out of the window and across the lawn, where he planned to apparate. "Back soon."

Eustacia arched her eyebrow at her sister's grandchild. His antagonistic comment wasn't at all what she'd expected. In the short time she'd actually been with him, he'd always been the quiet type who kept to himself. "Careful now Varian, I don't plan on removing your body from your pets insides in the event that you are Transfigured." she said with a smile, albeit lacking in humor. Her eyes followed him as he strolled into the bedroom, not the smartest of moves in his situation and naturally, one that didn't end too well. The elderly witch brought the fingers of her free hand to her temples and huffed with disappointment, as Decrella was pinned up to the wall and threatened by the arrogant mudblood. He would have to look after himself.

Thankfully, Aeon gave in and agreed to go along with the Necromancer. "A smart decision, child. One of your few." she laughed, fingers curling around the boy's as he took her hand. "You and I can talk, Kida and Varian can talk. Quite a fair little exchange we have, don't you think? Now goodbye, little mudblood. It has not been a pleasure." Eustacia said as she pulled the young wizard in closer and began to apparate, turning and leaving one last comment. "Take care, Varian."
With that, they were gone.

Becoming suddenly transported to the wall behind him left Varian with very little air in his lungs. Winded, aggravated and still hopelessly confused, he did not fight back against the woman who had pinned him against the wall. If by being the target dummy meant that he would finally get an answer as to why he was told to accompany his great aunt, then so be it. An arm pushing against his neck and a wand dangerously close to his jawline, Varian did little more than wait patiently while Eustacia began to apparate, taking his cousin with him.

He couldn't do much else anyway; multiple pieces of jagged wood made being adhered to the wall extremely uncomfortable and the vines entrapping him felt like steel cables tied to a truck. He gave a quick glance over to where Aeon was standing, but only saw thin air.

'Finally...' Varian muttered. Without his great aunt here to cause anymore issue or his cousin fixated on rodent transfiguration, he could sort out Kida. Eustacia had addressed her by this name just moments ago, and it made more sense now without her animagus form making things more confusing than they already were. He turned his head to Kida, who still had her arm against his throat and a wand against his jaw. Sootie growled silently on his shoulder, becoming more irritated the longer Kida kept Varian's neck pressured.'So, now that they're gone, do you think you could call back these bindings so we can talk on a more equal position?' he gasped, finding it difficult to speak with her forearm blocking his airways. Before Kida could speak and without warning, Sootie struck out, a row of claws raking her arm, doing her best to protect her beloved owner. A quick trickle of blood oozed out of the long, thin wound and dripped onto the floor, immediately followed by Sootie jumping to the ground. Her back arched, her tail fluffed up, her claws fully unsheathed; she was ready for her second attack.

Kida cursed at Aeon as he agreed to go with Aeon 'So help me Aeon if you go with her i'm putting a lock on all the cupboards' she said but before she could finish her sentence Eustacia had all ready taken him away.
Kida rounded on Varian but his cat had put his claws deep into Kida's arm, she hissed and dropped her arm away from Varians neck but still kept her wand arm pointed into his jaw. The Cat was on the ground when Kida took a step away from Varian and flicked her wand towards the cat causing it to blow backwards and the doors to shut locking it in the kitchen.
The Brunette waved one hand at Varian and the vines and shards of wood shrunk back into the wall 'If you take sides with that woman there is no such thing as an Equal Position, What are you doing with her Varian' she said harshly as she moved closer to him, before he had a chance to speak she pointed towards the lounge and waited for Varian to walk in there without her needing to assist him. She had no time but to wait while Eu and Aeon had their little talk for what ever it was for.

Watching her arm as blood ran down it she rolled her eyes, she would have to get some healing potion from her medicine cabinet later but now was not the time, her arm stung but nothing she couldn't handle, she was a Beater, getting hit by solid objects was her thing. The Brunette raised her eyebrows at Varian, waiting for an answer.

Varian's heart sank as he watched his companion fly into the kitchen. Sootie was tough, but she had never been flung through the air like that before. He would have to check on her later, as the doors to the room slammed shut, locking themselves; he still had Kida to deal with. His eyes turned back to her just as she flicked her hand to remove the vines and splinters from the wall. She ushered Varian to the sofa, asking him why he agreed to accompany Eustacia here.

'I wish I knew myself. I'm not entirely sure I've been told everything...' replied Varian, rubbing the now red marks when the vines once held him. 'Eustacia only mentioned she needed to see someone important and how they knew me. Turns out she was right about one thing; I haven't seen Aeon since those family dinners all those years ago....' he reminisced, but those memories soon gave way to a wave of confusion. 'But why is he so important to her? What could he HAVE that is so important to her?' Varian wanted to ponder over this some more, but Kida was now looking at the fresh cuts Sootie had given her, and decided it would be best to do what she wanted, lest she give him a few cuts herself.

Moving over to the couch, he was now a little more at ease knowing Kida was not as aggressive as she was a few minutes ago. Without Eustacia here to fuel her rage or Aeon here to fuel her annoyance, she was far less prone to barging Varian into a wall. Moving the junk cluttering the cushion, he took a seat, leaning forward intently and raising his eyebrows at the woman with the red dripping arm. 'Well, here I am. I'll tell you as much as I know so far, but then you have to tell me how much you know about Eustacia and Aeon.'

'Oh, and can I have my cat now, please?'

Following Varian into the lounge she sat on the couch across from him and waited, he seemed to pour out a load of questions which she wasn't quite sure the correct answers to but she tried her best anyway. 'Eustacia wants more power, Her family she believes is power, her direct family. Unfortunately for her Aeon and Sern aren't pure but she wants them anyway' Kida said looking at Varian studying him in case he changed suddenly and tried anything sneaky. Kida rolled her eyes 'You can have your cat back when i have my Cousin back, I'm sure my Cat is in there to keep it company' Kida looked at Varian 'Since i'm not related to Aeon by his mothers side and i'm a Muggleborn she has no want or need for me and insists on degrading me any chance she gets' she paused for a moment brushing her hair out of her face 'If you have a Problem with Muggle Borns i will fly you up so high and watch you suffer for air' she said leaving a loose threat to make sure he knew where she stood on others thoughts about her blood line, she had already been taken by a Death eater because she was a Muggle born she was over the whole hate towards Muggle born things by now.

Kida reclined back on the couch and looked at him 'I suggest that Eustacia be left without her family and learn how to be powerless, but apparently thats not how it is, so i guess You will continue to follow her around, but so help me keep her away from my house and my cousin' she said warning him, she wasn't fond of being made a fool either, if Eustacia came near her house next time she would disarm her and send her through the fireplace elsewhere.

Varian had no issues with Muggleborns; he was brought up to be a more open-minded person than Eustacia sounded. He was surprised, however, that a witch like Kida, who seemed like a capable Animagus, was born to parents without a drop of magic in them. Most Muggleborns he knew did quite average at school, and went on to have average careers. What was more surprising was that Eustacia obviously had a far more sinister reason for wanting to speak to Aeon. Trying to keep her grandson away from a muggleborn sounded like something she would do; wanting power, that was dangerous in the hands of someone like his great aunt.

'She wants power? Doesn't she have enough power as it is?' retorted Varian. He had heard his great aunt was extremely powerful. He also heard rumours she delved in the darker side of magic. 'How much more power could she want? I mean....I've heard things....That she works with necromancy.....' he continued, working on the little bits and pieces of information he had in his memory. 'Someone like that having the power she wants....I don't want to imagine what might happen.....'.

Varian shook slightly, fearing what could come to be should his great aunt get what she wants.

Kida smiled sideways at Varian, he seemed so clueless in the muggle world, but then again not everyone experienced her side of the magical world, some grew up clueless of Death Eaters. Brushing her long brown hair back over her shoulder she shrugged at Varian 'I do not understand whats going through my Cousins Grandmothers head, she is horrified by my existence, But there are a lot of Witches much more powerful than her, Aeon, Sern and myself can quite easily over power but we don't have her experience and its bad face to hurt an old woman' she said with a half smile, it was true, her and her cousins were always talented, skilled Animagi it was always a competition between Kida and Aeon.

The Witch shook her head 'I have heard rumors about another group of members arising called the Scitorari, i wouldn't be surprised if Eustacia had her own group' she said with a shake of her head, the last thing she needed was more dark wizards, Rumor had it that they weren't anti muggle-borns but she knew some would be like their Death Eater parents and still hate on Muggle Borns.

Kida felt sorry for the boy who seemed to have been dragged into the mess by his relation to Eustacia 'If you wish to Escape Eustacia, we may not be blood cousins but you're my cousin's cousin and you're welcome to post yourself at one of my houses' she said with some feeling, she would be able to keep him under control in her own house and making Eustacia weaker was always at her benefit.

Varian wished he knew what was going on at all, let alone what was going through Eustacia's head. Considering he had tagged along with her to this ordeal without first asking for what purpose, he pretty much put himself in this awkward situation.

'Gotta agree, I would probably shun you down for starting a scuffle with an old lady' Varian interjected, 'but even so, she's still a powerful witch, and she's had a lot of experience in her lifetime. I sure wouldn't want to be in her to-maim list.'

A sudden thought broke into Varian's mind. If he was worried about being around Eustacia, why did he follow her request to come here? She was his Great Aunt, so he should have no reason to be anxious, even frightened, of her. However, the more he heard Kida talk about Eustacia and this group she may be affiliated with, the more he had reason to. His Great Aunt wasn't the type to be fond of Muggleborns, as he had seen not long ago, and the name of the group had a certain dark aura to it; the kind of aura that brings a slight panic to your perspective.

'So, what exactly ARE the Scitorari? Are they some kind of dark arts cult, because that would explain Eustacia's involvement.'

He paused, then spoke again. 'And as long as it's ok with you, I may take the time to think over your proposal. I'm staying with my grandmother at the moment, and I'll need an hour or so to pack anyway. But.....I do appreciate it'

And for the first time since meeting Kida, Varian shyly smiled.
