Lesson Learnt

Landon felt sweat running down his face as he approached the hospital wing doors with Susie unconscious in his arms. The weight of her seemed to grow heavier with each step. He burst through the doors, looking around to see if he could find a nurse anywhere. He reached the nearest unoccupied bed and gently placed her there. "Anyone here? There's a student unconscious. Please help." he said, a little stressed. He felt his heart hammering in his chest, hoping that help wasn't too far away.

Susie was having an interesting dream about a dark room. Everything was dark, actually. Black was the prevailing colour. Every now and then, a distant light swelled, like moonlight pouring down a long tunnel. No way Susie was heading towards that.
