Alex walked out onto the grounds, having finished his lessons for the day, and needed some time to himself, though spending it with friends wouldn't go amiss either. He smiled, laying down on the grass outside. I wish Lilith would stop hiding from me, we never see each other anymore. Alex thought with a sigh. Alex thought about the classes he had attended since the first time he had come here, and sighed as he remembered he hadn't even made that many friends.

Alex chuckled, and looked around at all of the people in the courtyard, and looked up at all the windows of the castle, thinking about them all, and wondering what they could be doing, he stood up, and walked around the Lawn, looking at all of the people that he past, and wondering if their lives would be any different had they not come here, and made all the friends he had now. Alex had been glancing at the castle when he ran into another boy, and ended up falling over, "Watch where you're going!" Alex said.

Liam yawned as he walked down the steps from the staircase, he was tired and thought he needed some fresh air. He walked down to the entrance to the grounds and pushed the door open, he walked outside and took a deep breath of the fresh grass and plantations around him, it was great. Hogwarts was great, everything seemed to be great right now. He walked across the grounds taking in the scenery, he examined from left to right all that was around him, he was in his own little world today.

Liam saw a plant and walked over to examine it, he recognized it from his class but couldn't remember the name. "Mostly found around Hogwarts.." Liam recalled, he stood up and walked away from the plant, he'd find it again later, he wanted to see if he could find anymore plants he recognized from his classroom. Probably not, but it was always worth a try, plus it might be fun. Liam continued to examine the grounds, getting lost in his thoughts once again.

Liam was brought back to reality when a boy had ran into him, he nearly flew off his feet and stumbled backwards, he fell onto the ground with a dull thud and groaned. "Ouch." He said, rubbing the back of his head when he heard a boy speak to him, he sat upwards and slowly got to his feet. "Oh So- Wait, It's not my fault completely, you could watch where you're going and easily move!" Liam said back, feeling a little nervous about hitting the other person.

Alex chuckled as the boy tried to pin it on him as well, "That may be true, but it's as good as your fault as well for getting lost in your thoughts, maybe if you had paid more attention, you wouldn't have let me run into you." He said, winking at the boy. It was strange how only a minute ago, Alex had been having an argument with this boy, and now Alex thought he would be able to be friends with him. Oh well, it's always worth a try.

Alex shrugged, would it really be so bad if he was friends with a Gryffindor? Eden was. Alex chuckled to himself, and looked over at the man, "I'm Alex. Alex Blade. I am sorry for running into you." Alex said, shrugging. He walked over to him, and held out his hand for him to shake. "And you are?" Alex said, "A Gryffindor by the looks of it. But nevertheless, I may be a Slytherin, but I'm not like the others, I don't care to be seen socialising with Gryffindors." He said, shrugging.

Liam blinked as he chuckled at him, he looked around him then back to the boy when he spoke to him again. "I'm not saying it's all your fault, I am telling you that it was your fault aswell." He grinned a little before continuing. "I could of, yes. It appears that way, eh?" Liam laughed to himself and finally the excitement of bumping into a new person began to wear off, he felt he was going back to being his shy normal self.

Liam looked as the other boy shrugged, seeing as nothing could of brought this on he was a little confused as to why he did this. He realised he had began to talk again and he turned his head his way, still curious as to why he shrugged. "Er, It's fine. Afterall it was both our faults." He looked to Alex's hand and he took it, shaking it. After the handshake he retracted his hand back to himself. "I'm Liam Fallon, nice to meet you." He said with a smile. "Thats good, seeing as Slytherins and Gryffindors don't 'get along.' Heh."

Alex rolled his eyes at the boy, he seemed to be too shy for his own good, and Alex would have to try and do something about that, else the two of them would never get anywhere, and he couldn't have that. Alex sighed, "You wanna go for a walk around the grounds? I have nothing better to do with my day, maybe we could get to know each other better." Alex said, chuckling. He wondered if this boy was smart, he seemed to be so, but maybe not so much.

Alex smiled at the boy, and walked away towards the rosebush, but he didn't exactly plan to go there itself, "Come on, Liam! We can't get to know each other if you don't come with me, can we?" Alex said, in an attempt to try and annoy the boy, he didn't think it would work, but it was always worth a try.
