Aroha walked out of the Hogwarts castle and onto the Hogwarts great lawn, stretching her limbs. She'd been stuck inside doing classes all day, and now it was getting later she had free time. Free time to meet up with her friend, Miro. She walked to a particularly old oak tree, the two of them having agreed to meet up there. He'd bring the muggle ball, she'd bring...well, herself. Maybe it wasn't a fair trade-off but Aroha was early for once. She leaned against the tree and gave a sigh. At much as she tried not to care about exams, they were looming anyway, and her choices for next year's subjects seemed like too much responsibility. She was just pondering maybe dropping astronomy when she saw Miro as he came out of the castle. "Hey!" Aroha called out from her spot, waving over at him. She smiled, happy to see her friend.

Since chatting to Professor Kingsley and feeling an innate pressure to begin to care about (and even so much as try) in his classes lately lest he fall even further behind in his studies and get even worse grades, Miro had recently been caught up in his own head. Too distracted by the expectation on his shoulders to be better at school to really focus on anything fun, which was a complete switch to his usual focus on only having fun and letting everything else in his life fall by the wayside. He felt that he was caught in a fork in the road of his journey at school, where he had an impossible decision between choosing to walk along the right path and focus on his classes and studies and be the student everyone expected him to be, or choose the left path of fun and friends that he had been following for the last two years. He felt stuck, and knew if he chose one side it would inhibit him from choosing the other, the decision seeming black and white with no grey area in the middle where he could find a balance, let alone understand he was capable of finding a balance between fun and learning.

It had become a bit too overwhelming, especially with no one Miro felt like talking to about it. So out of habit Miro had tried to distract himself and spend time with his friend Aroha. It would only be a short time kicking a soccer ball around the great lawn but Miro was happy for any reprieve and didn't waste any time arriving to the lawn to meet with his friend as soon he was able to, in his most comfortable running clothes and with his soccer ball tucked under his arm. It didn't take him long to spot Aroha waiting for him and he smiled, running to greet her. "Hey!" Miro exclaimed, moving to drop the soccer ball to the grass and gently kick it between his feet. "Do you wanna like, try to play a game or just kick the ball around?" Miro asked, his eyes darting between the ball he was kicking with his feet and to Aroha in his impatience to start running around.
