There are days when all you want to do is stay inside and conversely there are days when you feel like you need to be outside. Lux's young body ached to be outside. She needed to feel the cool breeze on her fresh face and to smell the clean air - being inside a castle was nice but being stuck inside a dungeon was hardly where she found that she belonged. So she put her blonde hair up, tying it with an elastic and looked herself in the mirror. Within a week she felt as if she was a copy of what she'd known herself to be. The eleven year old was dressed in a strange mixture of muggle and wizard ing clothes, as most people at Hogwarts seemed to do. Somehow it worked but whenever she had seen her mother dress this way in the past, she'd always laughed it off as a poor sense in clothes. Now she understood. It was how it was in the wizard ing world.

No matter, her excursion was not to be about appearance or vanity. She never dared wearing make up anyway. She was far too young to do so while other girls here seemed to paint it on heavily. Lux shrugged, it just wasn't for her. That was all there was too it.

The new Slytherin walked up and out the castle and inhaled deeply as she felt a cool summers breeze touch her skin. She felt this was the most normal thing that had happened since being here and was happy for it. Not knowing what to do or where to go, she just walked. Lux Hamilton found herself headed towards a big dome and anxiously she walked inside. Her breathing shallowed while she stepped out but found that there was no one else there so she heaved a sigh of relief.

While Lux walked around she noticed that this looked a bit like a footie field but it didn't have the right proportions. It was probably another one of those weird wizard ing things that she would have to get used to. A sting of fear came over her when she remembered reading about what Romans used to do in The Colosseum. She hoped this was not the case here. She was far too young for this, her mother should have mentioned it anyway.

Once again the girl shrugged and sat down in the middle of the grassy field. Her fingers pulled out a few thin blades and twisted them back and forth. It was almost calming to do so.

Grace Collins was gracefully walking in the Ravenclaw common room, she did not know where she wanted to go. She was feeling lonely, no one wanted to be her friend and her plan of making friends in her Quidditch team was not succeeding. Ravenclaw was boring and the sometimes she would get extremely bored. Her pranks where working well, but she had some enemies here and there. A girl was crying rather loudly and was running passed her with big eyes. ''She is scared of me.'' A smirk appeared on Grace her pretty face. Grace yawned lazily, she was going no where with her life and she was surprised that her head of house had not demanded a meeting with her. Getting might and power on this was proving more difficult than she thought in the first place.

The common room was rather empty and Grace was feeling empty and useless. Grace was walking down the giant staircase and had her eyes on some place outside. She could not give a flying salamander about where she would end up walking to, everything was fine although some crowded place was most unlikely. Grace yawned and found herself standing on the Quidditch Pitch, she loved the place the wind roaring trough her long hair and the adrenaline running trough her body. Grace was wearing some fashionable Muggle clothes, she hated the colour of the Ravenclaw robes. Grace was looking with an somewhat evil gaze to a Hufflepuff that was close by. She did not want to scare her, but sometimes it was automatically. Grace would never say sorry, but she felt something deep inside. ''I hate everyone here, so why am I still here.'' ''Oh yeah..my parents'' Grace shrugged, Grace did not want to go to Hogwarts, Hogwarts for her was Hogwarts school for the mentally disabled and Grace found herself to be better than that.

Graditce found the Ravenclaw part of the Quidditch Pitch rather awful and she jealously looked at the green and silver coloured Slytherin part. Grace was glad she was a Ravenclaw now, some of the Slytherin were really horrible. After some time she noticed another girl standing on the Pitch, it was totally weird that she had not seen her before. It seemed that this girl was ruining the Quidditch field with her paws. Grace wanted to say something mean, but she had enough for today and wanted to be nice, but truthful. ''You know that if you want to pull out the whole field you are going to sit here for forty more years.'' Grace looked at the girl with her shiny eyes, she hoped that she had not said something wrong. The grassy field was really pretty and the sun that was falling on it made it look really pretty. Almost silently she sat down right next to this girl, hoping that she would talk back and not know her somehow.

Elijah Drage was lying on his bed in his dorm trying to decide what to do with the day. It was decent weather and staying inside was not the best idea. He had school work to keep himself busy, but he really didn't feel like doing any of it just now. His brown eyes glided around the room, finally resting on his broom. The Streak was propped in the corner by his other roommate's broom, the red color glinting in the sunlight, beckoning him to take it out. He may not be on the team, there was enough students in the upper years that tried out that he knew he didn't stand a chance this year, but that didn't stop him from getting out and flying and honing his skill. Finally deciding what to do, he got up and crossed the room to grab his broom and head out of the castle.

Quickly making his way across the lawn, Eli reached the Quidditch pitch. He walked in and was ready to mount his broom when he noticed there were two girls in the middle of the green. Instead of kicking off like he wanted to, his long legs took him across the field to where they were gathered. He heard one tease, well, he hoped it was teasing, that the other was going to need forever to pluck the grass clean. "Let's hope she doesn't stay out here forty years plucking grass. That would be a bit of a boring existence, and a bit dangerous when games are on," he stated, a smirk gracing his lips. "Wouldn't want her to get pummeled by a falling player or a bludger." He winked, hoping they didn't mind the interruption and that they would get that he was joking around.
