Kayce Davies-Dilys was raised by her single mother, Violet Dilys, until the age of ten, where she moved in with her father Mason Davies. Growing up she never had a pet, her mother said they didn’t have the extra money to spend, despite how many adorable kittens Kayce brought home. Since learning about owls, she has dreamed about having one of her own. Mason, her father, has an American Staffordshire Terrier named Oden, who was a lovely tan color. Kayce and Oden have bonded since she has moved in.

History
November 11, 2038, Violet went into labor and gave birth to Kayce Davies-Dilys on November 12, 2038, at 2:49 am. She notified Mason Davies and he stayed with Violet at her parent's house for the first two weeks of Kayce's life. Mason eventually had to return back to work in New Zealand, leaving Violet to care for Kayce on her own. Violet got a job at a Daycare facility allowing her to receive discounted childcare for Kayce and afford her own place. Violet and Kayce moved into an apartment of their own in Welshpool, hoping she could separate Kayce from the magical world.
Wanting to separate herself farther from her family, Violet moved them to Cardiff, Wales on December 14, 2040. Violet found work at another daycare, Sunshine Meadows Nursery, and enrolled in university for education. Kayce attended Sunshine Meadows until fall of 2044, switching to a public muggle primary school. She continued to show no signs of magic until her eighth birthday party in 2046. At her birthday party, a couple of girls who she considered her best friends, didn't show. Kayce demanded the entire party be canceled and in a crying, screaming rage caused her cake to magically raise from the counter and slam into the ceiling.
Unable to conceal the truth about her daughter's magic any longer, Violet sat down with Kayce and told her about her magical heritage and how she would likely get accepted into Hogwarts. Kayce was full of mixed emotions, most of them feeling like a cruel joke had been played on her which greatly impacted her self-esteem. She wanted to get ahold of her magical relatives and felt resentment towards her mother from keeping this from her. In an attempt to make amends, Violet sent an owl to Mason. Mason was excited to hear that his daughter had shown signs of magic and visited at once.
Kayce struggled in school with all the new changes in her life, she found herself being a bully to other kids and worrying about her appearance. She spent all of the holidays with her father in New Zealand and they started to get to know each other more. By September of 2049, Kayce became frustrated with living around her squib mother and muggles, she craved to in a magical environment. After pleading to her parents, they decided it would be for the best for Kayce to move to New Zealand and live with her father.
While there were a lot of changes ahead for Kayce, she transferred to a primary school in Queenstown, New Zealand and thrived academically. Kayce still found herself in the old ways of putting others down to make herself feel better. Mason Davies was unaware of his daughter's behavior and considered her his angel. Just missing the deadline by two months, Kayce would likely be accepted into Hogwarts New Zealand for the 2050-2051 school year.
