Liusaidh was a little curious as to why Kalif Junior had wanted her to target Professor Drage, but she wasn’t going to question it just yet. Not really, she was curious but if it meant that he didn’t rat her out to his dad and she still got her fun then that would be fine. She just had to target someone that really Liusaidh had no qualms with. She would now, doing this, but it wasn’t like it really mattered how many teachers at this school disliked her. None of it mattered. Her life would be fine without. But she got the feeling this wouldn’t be an expellable offense just yet, well, until three years down the line when Professor Drage was still finding glitter everywhere. She had her wand out and had managed to get into her office, far less security that Professor Styx’s perhaps she just need to build to professor styx, figure out her methods and then build to bigger targets. She pushed open the door and walked inside, she moved to be behind the desk and from within her pocket pulled out the glitter bomb. She was deciding if she just want to set it off now, or if she wanted to try to have it trigger for when she wasn’t there. All of these thoughts left her mind as she heard someone at the door.

Lydia had just wrestled the boggart back into its wardrobe after a private lesson with one of the students. No matter how many times she faced the hidebehind, it drained her physically and emotionally. However, she would be a terrible professor if she asked the students to confront their fears and couldn’t share her own.

She desperately needed a hot cup of tea and a good book. Opening her office door, she stepped inside, but turned at the last minute as she noticed something on her office door. Just now, she was noticing Vex’s addendum to her office sign, scribbled in red, of course. She sighed and shook her head.

Liusaidh looked at the professor who had just walked back into her office, the glitter bomb in hand, ”Oh hello,” Liusaidh said with a forced false cheerfulness, ”Ah can explain,” she said with a little smile, she was loosening her grip on the glitter bomb, intending to distract the professor enough by speaking that she wouldn’t notice the glitterbomb in her hand or her clear intention to still drop it on to the floor of her office.

Lydia nearly jumped out of her skin, bones and all, when she heard a voice from inside her office. She turned to see a red-headed Slytherin she recognized but hadn’t taught yet. The young girl had earned a reputation throughout the school. “Miss- Fergusson,” Lydia said, cautiously, “What are you doing here?”

Liusaidh paused, ”Uhhhh, nothing,” she replied she didn’t really try to hide what she was doing, or the little glitter bomb in her hand, ”Is this no profeessor Styx’s office, ah had homework for him,” she lied poorly, since she wasn’t particular good at lying, she wasn’t hiding anything, but perhaps it might get her to ignore things for a moment while Liusaidh dropped the bomb. She was going to end up caught in the blast but it would be absolutely worth it. 100% worth it.

“His office is that way,” Lydia said, pointing over her shoulder with her thumb. She was delayed in noticing the object in Liusaidh’s hand. When the sunlight caught the surface it was- sparkly- to say the least. “What is that?” the professor asked, her eyes widening.

Liusaidh gave a little shrug of ‘oh okay’ but of course she wasn’t looking for his office. She was in the right place and she was doing exactly what she had set out to do. It seemed then that this professor noticed what she had in her hand, ”Oh, it’s nothin’” she replied but she decided she needed to act now. So she threw it down on the ground hard and did her best to move to cover her face from the blast of glitter that would erupt the moment it made contact with the floor.

Lydia barely had time to shield her eyes as the glitter bomb exploded. Everything in sight, including herself and Miss Fergusson, was covered in sparkly dust. The professor coughed, hoping she hadn’t inhaled the hellish stuff.

A student had never done such a thing to her. At least, not during her time as a professor. Lydia wasn’t certain if she was hurt, bewildered, or a mix of both. With wide eyes, she asked, “Why?”

Liusaidh was only just able to shield most of her face from it, but she felt the blast of glitter cover what was left open. When it was open she glanced up and around at the room, unable to help the light giggle as she noted how covered in glitter the room was, how covered she was. And though Liusaidh wasn't that superficial she did care a little about how much of a mess she likely looked from the glitter blast. she'd have glitter everywhere for years after this. At the question Liusaidh hesitated, seeming to remember the professor was there. She wasn’t sure she should sell out Kalif, he’d told her to do it and she was kinda curious as to why but she didn’t want to sell him out once. ”No sayin’” she told the professor. If pushed much more she was likely to mention it, but she had to at least pretend she could be somewhat loyal to another pureblood.

Lydia brushed the sparkly dust off of her face, her arms, her robes, but it was absolutely futile. Glitter would remain in her office longer than the castle would stand; she was certain of that. There was no use pushing her to explain herself further. Lydia got the feeling that the Slytherin girl simply liked the chaos of it all.

“All right, then, to your Head of House,” Lydia said, trying not to sound as deflated as she felt. She hoped Kalif was in his office next door so she wouldn’t have to track him down in the school. Then part of her hoped he wasn’t around, because if he hadn’t stopped to check in after a commotion like that, it said a lot about his character.

Despite what the professor had just said about where she was to go, and get into trouble from professor styx couldn’t in part help but marvel about the room, it was just such a beautifully glittery room. She was glittery too, but this was just so cool. So good. Liusaidh just nodded. ”Fair enough, lead on sir galavant,” she proclaimed, still seemingly pretty amused by this and what she’d done. It would’ve been nice to not get caught for it, but she was a little indifferent to being caught really.
