OVERALL Most would say that Kalif would act a lot like his grandfather. He is stern, witty, and sarcastic. He is also naturally a cold, unfeeling person who grows bored of people very easily. Kalif is also protective over his family, tends to think that he knows it all, and acts like a privileged boy, which to be fair, he is. He doesn't form attachments easily, and doesn't care about others. He only thinks of himself at all times, and plans his future as well. He is stern and prefers to be left alone to do as he wants. As he grows older, hurting or killing people will come as second nature, as will leadership and controlling the family. He also holds a great sense of pride.

Coming to Hogwarts New Zealand came as no surprise considering what family he descended from. His sister held on to his hand tightly, which he allowed since she relied on him for everything. From decisions to usual activities of what kids were supposed to do. Kalif stared ahead, feeling Mari’s shaking hand in his. She was nervous. Yet, there was no reason to be. Their grandfather taught here, and there were other family members that they could rely on if needed. While Mari was codependent on him, Kalif was more independent. He did not mind Mari hanging on him, following him, but Kalif would do no such thing. He stared as the other students were sorted. Before too long, it was Mari’s turn. Kalif watched as she was sorted, before it was his turn. He walked up and sat down on the stool, while folding his arms across his chest. He wasn’t impatient, but he didn’t see what the big deal was about sorting.

"This is no big deal really and this is certainly no surprise....Slytherin,"

HISTORY​

Kalif Styx the Second and Amarantha Nicolette Styx were born in the Styx Manor to Caspien and Kailie Styx. However, there were complications to the birth which caused Kailie to bleed to death in the bathtub after naming her children. From there, Caspien raised them in his father-in-law's home. Caspien spent much of his time at work and drinking, after Kailie's death. Kalif and Amarantha were raised mainly by the Patriarch. During this, Kalif was chosen to be the next Patriarch of the family. He entered the special training required to lead the family, which created a rift within his relationship with his twin. She became overly attached to him, while Kalif became more and more independent. It did not take long for Kalif to be fashioned and molded into the perfect leader. They were soon accepted into Hogwarts New Zealand. Kalif met a few other pure-bloods, then he was sorted into Slytherin. His twin was sorted into Hufflepuff. Since a relative was also sorted into Slytherin, Kalif tends to command him around in the dorms, while having others around him at the school. He commands his relatives with a snap of his fingers.

As the years pass, he was trained as the perfect prodigy, though there were times that others seemed to outshine him. During his fifth year, he was named prefect because of his role in the school, while meeting and making allies and rivalries, as well as annoyances. It was also during this year that would be his last in Hogwarts New Zealand, as he, and his grandfather, left that the end of the year. He went back to Bulgaria to finish out training and learning in the Zhefarovich manner. He didn't contact many others, just choosing to focus on his education and lessons. While he was taught blood supremacy, he sees more worth in people than just their blood status, which was why he will talk to those that are 'lower than him', so to speak.​
