"Stop it. Stop it. You're fine." Rose was telling herself, looking at her reflection in the middle of the bathroom that was thankfully deserted by the time she'd gotten here. She'd checked over her shoulder twice since she'd walked in, convinced that she'd not fully checked all the cubicles the first time around and at some point an older student was going to pop out and catch her talking to herself. The Ravenclaw had already pulled up her white socks to her knees, making sure they were straight, and cleaned any scuff marks off her black shiny shoes, but she still didn't feel like she was doing enough. She'd never been one to feel in competition with anyone, until she'd ended up here. Now she felt like everyone was looking at her as a lonely little girl who didn't know where she belonged, and at times Rose felt as though everyone were looking straight through her. Soon, they'd all realise she wasn't as smart or as cool or as interesting as she was doing her best to make out to be.

Ivara liked damp places. They reminded her of frogs, and while she knew she wasn't going to exactly find frogs in a disused lavatory (though a girl could hope) Ivara had decided to explore the area just in case. She thought her frog Roger might appreciate it at least. He definitely liked the damp. She stepped into the bathroom, holding her frog, and noticed a girl. She looked well put-together and yet there was something off. Ivara could just tell. She frowned, looking at the girl. "You okay?" she asked with concern. If this girl was being bullied, they'd have Ivara to answer to.

Rose had been so fixed on her own reflection that she didn't realise someone had joined her until she spoke. Her head suddenly snapped in her direction, to see the girl that was holding a frog in her hands. Her eyebrows rose, her features softening. "I.. I'm okay thank you." She didn't want this girl to think she was having a problems, especially because she didn't know who she was. Rose swallowed, doing her best to stand up taller for her own self confidence. "What's his name?" she asked the girl with a new smile on her face, glancing to the cutest frog in the world.

Ivara blinked, watching the girl seem to change demeanour. She tilted her head slightly, wondering if she should comment on it but then the girl asked about Ivara's frog and Ivara perked up immediately, forgetting completely about what she'd seen. "His name's Roger," she said proudly. "He's an Australian green tree frog." She tried to remember what she'd seen before she'd been distracted, feeling like there was something important about it. It didn't come. "I'm Ivara, by the way," Ivara said instead. "There a reason you're here? Oh, are you looking for frogs too?"
