Why was back to school always such a hectic time. You'd think it'd be calm, with a gentle ease back into school life, but that didn't seem to be the case. Instead it was throwing a child into a pool to teach them to swim, throwing information at the students from day one to stuff their heads full of knowledge. There was no rest for Yerik as he dove headfirst into his school work and his extra-curricular life. The edge of the forest was within sight; the glowing lining of light and free space seeping in through the trees as the badger made his way closer. Make it to the lawns and just past the first stretch of empty land that bordered the forest, and the Ravenclaw would be free. The Bowtruckles, for one reason or another, never went past that point. Perhaps they were overwhelmed with the scents of wizards and witches everywhere? So much so that they felt threatened in going too far past the forest? It was a possibility. Honestly, Yerik would have loved to wait around and observe, perhaps even come up with some way to test his hypothesis in a more direct way, but for as curious as he was, he wasn't mad. Wait around to see why the Bowtruckles didn't cross some invisible border? He'd have to be entirely insane to take a risk like that especially when he knew that the creatures didn't shriek and wail at him out of affection. No, they despised him. Perhaps even wanted his head. Or, well, perhaps that was a bit of an exaggeration, but still. There was no possible way of mistaking such behavior as anything else but hatred.

Thus far, Yerik had stumbled across no one, and that was likely for the best. Yerik Rhys closed his eyes as he stood out on the lawns. Hoping to have a piece of solitude. With the different things entering his mind ; school, quidditch, Hogwarts Monthly and social life, he couldn't help but wrinkle his forehead. Trying to focus on something, anything that can distract him for the meantime. He needed it, after his prefect duties every night, which was exhausting to be honest. He didn't have a choice, though he was sure, he's enjoying it - every minute of it. The prefect was able to manage everything though, with school and his extra-curricular activities. The only missing thing is a social life that he terribly lacks. Rather than doing nothing Yerik Rhys laid down with his eyes closed just listening. Silence was what everyone else would have been hearing on such a relaxing day. But Yerik Price was not your average person. The whispers of the gentle spring breeze, shiver of the leaves above, vibrations of the dancing blades of luscious green grass beneath him, the flap of a birds fluttering wings ad it flew, every single detail Yerik was playing attention too. The steps that he heard people take, the ripples in the near by lake, the claps of the young first years's hands as they played hand games. Everything was a detail, even the working motors of the old clock tower in the courtyard. Until he heard a few footsteps approaching and so it'll began.

LeAnn found that being outside was the only way she could clear her mind lately. The school just seemed to be overcrowded due to the new hoard of first years, she wondered if she was ever that annoying when she had started the school - well obviously she wasn't because she was brought up better than the children that seemed to act as if they were brought up with no manners whatsoever. There were days when even being outside wouldn't help as it was it too was getting overcrowded but the grounds were a vast area and she was much more knowledgeable than first years that were too afraid of wandering off too far in case they ended up in the Forbidden Forest or something silly like that. Sitting by one of her favourite oak trees near the edge of the forest by where Professor Thornton would keep some of the creatures that they would study in their class. The sound of the creatures would sometimes relax her because it would be all she could hear as she was far enough away from the large crowds that they were merely a far off dull hum to her young ears. LeAnn sat on the ground with her legs outstretched in front of her and a journal sitting on her lap with her quick notes quill floating in mid-air beside her face. Her crystal blue eyes were staring aimlessly into the darkness of the forest as she was lost in concentration. She was now the Vice President of the Heta Omega, along with one of her besties, Aphrodite, who was now the President, and she was determined to do the best she could in her new role and was jotting down ideas that the sorority could do this year for fundraising and just general good fun, the sorority hadn't done much but now she had some more power in it she was determined do take it back to its glory days.

This was all LeAnn could imagine herself doing in the future now, event planning, she had really gotten the bug for it especially after she was in her prime the day of her mother's wedding when she practically ran the whole thing herself - a great accomplishment for a fifteen year old at the time, regardless she loved it. After informing her mother of her new dream the newly married woman was more than happy to help her eldest daughter in her career. Evette had always been supportive of LeAnn and whatever her dreams were but she never really did see LeAnn becoming a dragon trainer or a paper pusher at the ministry - only one of which LeAnn ever showed any interest in. With Evette being well-known in the right places she was able to set LeAnn up with an internship over the holidays with a marketing firm in Paris where she was able to oversee party planning at its finest. LeAnn had shown promise and was promised a part-time job during her holidays from school and a job when she graduated if she wanted it. Granted this may not have been a good enough reason for her school work to take a dip like it had done so far this semester but she was ready for school to be over so she could get back to Paris.

Sighing as she came to realisation that finishing school for good was a long way off she got up and decided to retreat into the castle and maybe take a shot at some of her essays. As she made her way up through the Great Lawn she felt a gust of wind come behind her, one uncommon of the nice spring day that it had been so far. Thinking nothing off it she quickly realised that the wind had stolen her hat, "Sh*t!" she exclaimed as she started to run after it seeing it landed near a guy lying down on the grass. "I'm so sorry about that, the wind blew it right off my head!" she shouted as she ran closer to the guy to retrieve her hat, hopefully he wasn't annoyed or anything, she was in a good mood today and did not want that ruined by some jerk who didn't understand Mother Nature.

Waiting for the stars to fall down seems forever, waiting for someone to talk to him seems like forever. How he hoped that forever can happen in a day, forever in a day. He couldn't stop thinking of what the future may bring, good or bad. As for the present, he wish to add a few things, friends mostly. It's always the same problem, why am I such loser? Does everyone hate me? Will someone like me? Same questions, different answers. He hated thinking restlessly, and he wants it to stop right now. After all he's here to take a break from everything even just for a minute, an hour, a day. If only time could stop and let him forget, forget everything he hates. Kudos if that happens. Yerik Rhys continued to the different sounds around him, the sounds that surrounds him amazes him. It's like listening to music only, there aren't any words or a tune to sing to, it was so simple that he wanted to stay put for any upcoming sounds. Though he knew very well that someone's approaching him, fixing his position. Yerik straightened up and waited for the strangers arrival, how he hoped it to be someone unfamiliar to him, perhaps a first year or a transfer student but to his luck, it's not a he or a she. It was an it, a hat appeared in front of him. For a moment he stared at it, hoping to for the hat to be blown away to a different direction. From the looks of it, the hat belongs to a female student, seeing the the design of the said hat.

Now here come the part where the owner will approach him as well, taking a handful of grass and releasing it into his fists. The prefect braced himself for the owner of the hat who is obviously is a female student of Hogwarts. Just when everything seems to fit in, the lady is not at all unfamiliar. In fact he have met her once inside a dark room, the abandoned room he loves to spend his spare time. He couldn't remember her name as he couldn't even remember if she said her name before their conversation ended. Fate seems to barge in every now and then, before the lady could even get her hat. Yerik Rhys reached out his hand and got the hat, he stood up and personally handed the hat to the owner with a smile. "No worries. Here, take it." he said to her while handing the hat. He didn't want to sound like a jerk at all, with the typical reaction of being annoyed instead he want to please her today. Oh, sorry. I must be covered in dirt." he stated without even caring about the lady in front of her. He patted his back, shook himself and checked it there's still some dirt covering him. "Such a lovely day isn't it?" Yerik Rhys said while looking at the azure sky. He wanted to make an impression that he isn't a grumpy lad at all, once he was contented with his glance above he looked at the blonde in front of him and smiled once more.
