Alyson was winding down from a long day of swimming in the lake with one of her few friends with a nice walk in the garden. The flip flops she had worn down were still quite slippery from the water that had been splashed on them and after a close call with a sea creature Alyson couldn't identify she decided it was time to bid her friend farewell. The dress she used as a cover up was wet from the bathing suit underneath it and her fine platinum hair hung damp and stringy in her emerald eyes. She was just admiring a nearby rosebush when she heard the beautiful notes of a guitar. "Hmm... I wonder who's playing." she murmured to herself as she made her way closer to the sound. She did this for a few minutes, trying to locate the beautiful music when she spotted a nearby pear tree. "Ooh, pears." she said softly, quickly climbing up the tree to get one, not really caring that she wasn't wearing shorts. Not like anyone was around anyways. Hopping back down the tiny girl then realized that she source of the music was very close. The took a few steps and realized the mystery player was on the other side of the humongous tree! Stepping into his line of vision, "You play that very well." she told him.

Elijah Tine was the kindnof guy who didn't go out much. He went to the same places and did the same thing. He always looked forsomething steady in his life, and this was music. So wherever and whenever he could Eli would play. He'd strum his guitar. And sing like he had only moments to live. Making eveything note a show. Every over exggrated and unnecessary dance step showing hm to be more than a boy of 13 who liked music. Elijah was the kind of guy who had a passion and did all for his passion. He lived and breathed the music he played. It was no different the day he went to the gardens. Instead of taking in the marvel of the different plants and animals Eli had kept his eyes squarely on the ground. His hood up and his fingers strumming away at the guitar. in other words Elijahwas being himself. 100% himself. He was at in the gardens. He was leaning against the tall bark of the tree, strumming away at his guitar eyes closed and his jumper hood covering his short messy brown hair. He was perfectly calm in these moments alone with his guitar. He was used to being alone in such a fashion. Eli wasn't the type of guy who was overly outgoing who needed to talk to people and be in with the crowd. He much prefered all the time he spent alone. His eyes shot open when somone spoke. He looked up to the young blonde standing in front of him. He smiled at her while giving a smal nod to the thanks.

"Thank you" Eli smiled at the girl. "would you like to sit? I'm Elijah or Eli, by the way."

Alyson observed the almost perfectly green pear in her tiny doll hands before bringing it up to her face, her tiny but powerful nose caught the slightest hint of the fruits essence as the wind caused the scent to dance around in the air around her head. But not wanting to be holding a piece of fruit to her face for an odd amount of time the took a bite, she felt the soft peel break easily under the pressure of pearly white teeth as though being sliced by a knife as the taste of the pear was infused into her tongue, they were by far one of her favorite fruits and eating them right off of the tree had to be one of the best things possible. She remembered Kailey telling her about planting this particular tree when she was Alysons age, Alyson would definitely have to thank her elder cousin for that. Hearing the boy respond to her statement she quickly chewed the remainder of the pear bite up before swallowing quickly. "How long have you been playing?" she asked, a note of curiosity in her voice before she heard his offer. "Sure, I have quite a walk ahead of me, need to get a bit more energy up." she said before taking a seat on the soft blanket of Earth, leaning her back against the trunk of the mighty tree, she could feel every bump and groove along it's rough edges on her back. "Hello Elijah, I'm Alyson." she told him with a smile. He looked kind of familiar, was he in her year?
