The past two week had been both; bad and good. At one time she was flying and enjoying herself, almost every night and on the other when the alcohol left her system she got bad headaches and the reality came back in, her break up and her pregnancy. She reminded herself that she was no longer pregnant, she had got an abortion thanks to her friend's good advice. Larissa was being a savior and a friend when she needed someone the most. It was her who had advised Veronica to get her abortion and also to see other men and break their hearts, play with them and have fun so she would forget Joshua whom she had fallen in love with, it was difficult but as days passed she realized it was not impossible. She had so far got two victims, one some worker in Bulgarian Ministry who was twenty two and another a musician who couldn't stop composing for her but she had victimized them, left them heart broken like someone had left her.

She was bunking a class, they didn't seem to matter anymore, not now. She hadn't been thinking about victimizing guys from the school but the opportunity would be fun, if she got to play a bit more with them, play for a week before she dumped them. Her identity was lost at heart but she didn't allow that to weaken her for her brain had been filled with ideas of revenge. She walked through the corridor and entered the common room where she sat on the couch with a book which she had no interest to read because at the moment she was a hawk looking for her prey. She smirked as he the block in the wall slide and awaited her victim of the week.

Drake was rather a bit tired today. Between working in his classes and then flirting and hanging out with girls and his friends, he barely had any time to himself. He didn't care much for time to himself right now because he just wanted to have a good time in his life. He was young, quick and best of all, he was a Veela. Not everyone had that kind of ability and Drake used his ability to the fullest. He always enjoyed turning on his charm on girl's to lure them in for his wicked games and fun. Sometimes he would trap girl's that were a bit nerdy and get them to do some of his homework, or he would sometimes just would be in the mood to make out with a girl and he would then find a cute looking girl and start to make out with her. Life was all good right now for Drake, or at least for the most part. With his entry to Hogwarts being denied this year, he was a little disappointed, but the good part of it was that his father didn't do anything to him. Admissions into Hogwarts this year were canceled for some reason that was unknown to many people that were transferring, but was always next year. So his father wasn't mad at him and told Drake to apply again next year.

Walking back to the common room, Drake was just wanting to sit down and relax for a little bit. His mind was telling him to relax, but his heart was telling him that he needs to find a cute girl as soon as possible and start making out with her. He didn't really know who to listen to, so his decision was to sit down and relax. Perhaps this time, he would even get to study on his own, instead of asking someone else to do it for him. As he walked into the common room, he picked up a spot on the couch, on which another cute girl was sitting. 'Maybe I can satisfy both by brain and my heart together.. maybe.'Thought Drake to himself. He went to the couch and sat down next to the girl and said, "Reading a book now are we? What's are you reading there?" Drake wasn't much into the book, he just wanted to start off a conversation with the girl.

Veronica smiled warmly at the boy as he came to sit beside her. Maybe he was going to play as well, maybe not, only time and words could tell that. He was very good looking but nothing Veronica couldn't handle. She had been a bit unsure about playing within the walls of Durmstrang because if a big chaos was made she could end up in trouble but seeing the good looks that this boy held she freed of her fear. "Wanderings with the Werewolves by Gilderoy Lockhart" she told him as she showed him the cover of the book in which she placed a bookmark before closing it as she turned to face the boy. "The writer thinks too much of himself" she said with a shrug as she thought about the whispers that she had heard about werewolves being in Durmstrang.

She wondered if he was a sixth year because he certainly didn't seem like a fifth year. Veronica was no longer surprised to meet new transfers every now and then, it was as if Durmstrang was accepting more students than ever before. His face was new and she was sure she didn't see him in the corridors. "I suppose you're new in school" she said giving him another smile. It wasn't her dazzling smile or the flirty one but it was the charming one. "Do you like it here?"she asked him wondering what was his view of the school. Personally Veronica liked Durmstrang very much but it was not the same for many she knew, not that it mattered especially because she would graduate this year but yet she was always curious about others view of the school because it was like a home to her.

Drake gave a small smile when he heard the girl give the book's title to what she was reading. The first impression's of Drake about this girl were good to say the least. She was a bit cooperative, unlike some of the other girls who would come running to Drake, flirt with him and upon that, they would start fighting each other as to who was going to hang out with Drake more and what not. It frustrated Drake sometimes as to why this happened when he always tried his best to stay in control of his surroundings, but sometimes, it wasn't that easy to control. "Wanderings with the Werewolves? I see." Said Selwin with a smile. He had already read that book a few times because it really interested him. One of Drake's uncles was a werewolf, though he was able to control himself most of the time. On a few occasions, Drake witnessed his uncle transforming into a werewolf and got very close to getting bitten or scratched by his uncle, though he always managed to get out of the way. Luck was with Drake so far in his life and he hoped that it continued to support him.

Drake was surprised as to why this girl thought that he was new to the school. It had been about two years since Drake had been here at this school, he wasn't exactly new. Drake wasn't too involved in Durmstrang quidditch or anything, so it's probably the reason why she hadn't had a chance to see him or meet him. "Well, I've been here for about two years now, so if you call two years being new, then I suppose I am new." Said Drake with a small chuckle. Her next question made Drake think a little bit. He loved Durmstrang more than being home schooled, he got to meet people, hang out with his friends, flirt with girls and over all, have a good time. Though some portions of it he did not like. "I suppose you can say I like it here. Sometimes the homework get's a bit too much and same goes for the exams, but hanging out with other people makes up for it and having fun in general to say the least." Said Drake with a smile. Drake felt a little embarassed that he had not introduced himself yet. "The name is Drake by the way, Drake Parker." Said Drake.

Sorry it took a bit to reply. :( Have been super busy for the past few days.

Veronica wandered what he 'saw'. She did get the impression that he was well aware of the book because after all it was a famous one and even she had read it two times when she had time. She was a little surprised when he said he had been in Durmstrang for the past two years. Either she thought too much of herself knowing everyone and everything of Durmstrang or this boy wasn't a social butterfly like herself, either way it was pity they hadn't met before.

She smiled as she heard him say that the school was fun in general, even she thought the same way. She was glad that he wasn't like others complaining about the school having dark views and dangerous students because all those who came here knew what they would have in stock so they better be prepared or not complain. "I'm Veronica White" she said with a returning his smile. She did notice that he was pretty, prettier than the other guys and his smile would melt any girl's heart and if she let her guard down then he could get her too but she wasn't going to play fast especially because she could see him around school unlike those guys who were strangers and she had to play fast before the night was over.

"Studies are pressurizing especially now in seventh year" she said softly agreeing to his statement about academics. She did get acceptable in most of the subjects except Dark Arts and Potions, her favorite ones and that wasn't somethings he was proud of. She had come to an understanding with herself that this second term she would work hard and graduate with good grades in everything because her last report was terrible that she had burnt it. "What year are you in?"she asked Drake. He was muscular-ish and since she was shorter than most of the fifth years she couldn't easily know one's age by their physical appearance and she didn't like playing with guys from fifth year or younger so she had to know her data first.
