Moving houses had never been a stress-free thing for Aiden, he had grown up moving house every two or so years for his father's profession, he would continuously have to make new friends, and say goodbye to the ones he had made before the move, by now she should have grown used to it all, and built up a resistance to goodbyes. Nevertheless, it had discouraged the teen from establishing proper relationships, he knew by some means he would ultimately have to say farewell, so he didn't even bother anymore, saving him the hurt when he did leave again. This was only at home, at Durmstrang it was a different story, he had chosen to attend said wizarding school because he knew he wouldn't have to change that school if he moved house. This provided the sixteen year old some sort of familiarity, but it still didn't permit him to make any genuine friends. Or any friends at all for that matter. Attending Durmstrang did not give way for Aiden to finally show proper social skills at all. He did have them, he just never made the effort in using them, he preferred to linger in his dorm all day and play guitar, and it was more applicable to his future anyway, as opposed to the amount of friends he wasted his time with.

As his family's car pulled up to his new house his father in the driver's seat and his mother already inside his new house, she had left a few days earlier to set all the furniture up. The wizard knew he would grow weary of the place very quickly much like he did with his previous homes, for some reason, Aiden had never been able to fully let go of his childhood, which explained why he was holding his much loved polar bear plushie to his torso. Aiden hugged his bear closer to his chest; it had grown to a custom for the wizard, to clutch Luther tighter when moments of insecurity stirred in his day to day life. It was just a pity that Luther wasn't always there to calm Aiden's nerves. More often than not he would have to find other ways that would let him fake confidence, unfortunately Aiden hadn't found a way yet, he would do just fine with being able to feel Luther's soft fur against his tattooed skin, a feeling the Durmstrang student would always remember, and one he hoped would never go away. The calming and nostalgic happiness Aiden was indulging in was short lived, because it was then time for the teen to leave the car, and dive in head first, to his new environment.

The air was fresh; the sixteen year old took a deep breath in, still clutching Luther to his body. Of course it looked unusual, a tattooed up sixteen year hold holding an old tattered polar bear toy, it was an image one could only assume made him look like a mental patient of some sort. Aiden embraced that idea, he had been called a freak a few times and it was the only insult he liked being thrown at him. Any other insult would have a negative effect on the teen, making him more insecure than before, he considered being called a freak as a compliment, he believed being weird was a lot more beneficial than being normal, it ensured that he would never be considered boring. Aiden did not have the energy or intention to move from the spot he was loitering in, all he wanted to really do was stare at the place he would have to call home the next few years and kick at the loose gravel with a converse sneaker, an obvious way to typically act like a teenager and well, procrastinate. Aiden's guitar and wand were still in the back seat of the car, enclosed in it's case, he was still holding Luther, the moment felt static in a way, somehow soothing, no matter how stressful moving house was and has always been for Aiden Hanley Springfield.

The entire morning Jackie Margera played look out in return she was promise some chocolate kisses. Being the sister to a part giant and a very curious eleven year old, the girl had no trouble accepting the bribery. “What if they’re muggels Madlyn, what if they see you and then we will be the one moving? “ her voice whiney and nasally kept Madlyn distracted from her mind the entire time. She couldn’t think straight these days, but keeping busy suited her well. She was tending their family’s farm animal, basically doing everything Jackson did for them when he was alive. “They are not muggels, I can assure you of that Jackie, and why are you so worried about it? You’re not the one passing seven feet tall?” Madlyn asked her sister.

“Like I said what if we have to move? This is our second house, and now that daddy’s gone…” her voice drop, she felt her heart drop to into her little chest. Poor thing, she didn’t want to leave the home in which her father use to dwell in. “You have nothing to worry about it right, right. I promise you” half way through milking their stubborn cow, Madlyn had enough of the stench occupying right at her nostril. “Eeewl Best, you need a wash after this” the cow let out a long ‘moooo’ as if it understood the human language. “Now go keep a look out, you know you want to kinda see how they are right sweets” Madlyn’s mixed accent sounded part way Irish, Jackie noticing laughed running before her sister gave her a good kick in the tush. She sighed, everyone miss Jackson, it’s hard to let go. However her father would not have wanted his family to be depressed and unhappy, it’s the last he wanted them to be. Moving on is just not so easy.

In due time, little Jackie came back running sooner than Madlyn could think alone. “They’re here” she whispers out loud, she enter the barn house giving her sister the update. “And how they look like?” Madlyn said in response. “Like humans” Jackie replied in sarcastic manner. That did it, Madlyn drop the water pail and ran after her snarky little brat sister. “You get over here, now!” Jackie dashed, laughing like old times sake, it was good thing she was laughing, but not in the suspense of humiliating her sister. Crossing the green grass in her backyard, she could easily see their new neighbor, they were a small bunch. Wife, father, and the oddly looking boy who was standing there not moving gripping an old tattered bear. Jackie ran inside the house, leaving her older sister to stare at the strangers. She wasn’t use to staring, but guessed she had nothing better to do. Plus the boy was strange, like her, strange for her means good. Than Lokata broke her out of her staring contest, barking at the new comings of course doing what any mutt would do protecting its owner. “Lokata Sssssshhh! Hush boy , calm down” she went to quiet down her husky .

The adolescent stayed in deep thought, he was moving to a new house, a new neighbourhood, a completely new environment. But somehow it all felt so familiar, Aiden couldn't figure it out himself, but it felt like he had lived in the area before, there was no other explanation as to why it was no familiar to the sixteen year old. The air felt so peaceful as the gentle breeze caused it to grace his pale skin, the musician smiled slightly, somehow this time when he moved, he didn't feel as insecure. Maybe because he didn't think he would be bothered by their new neighbours knocking on their door and introducing themselves. The teen shook his head, which let his mind arrive back into the real world, Aiden needed to get inside his house and see what his new room was like, and if he would be able to write and record in there without disturbing his parents, or neighbours, in their last house, they had noise complaints from the houses next to them, and hopefully this time Aiden and his family would avoid that situation.

The brunette was about to turn around and retrieve his guitar and wand from the family's car when the sound of a dogs' bark filled his ears. He quickly diverted his attention to where the barking was coming from to see a tall girl, with the barking dog. Aiden squinted to get a better view of them, however the sun had other plans. Aiden opened the car door, pulled out his guitar case, with his guitar and wand inside it, and walked inside his house. It was a quaint place, and Aiden didn't mind it as much as he did their previous home. He ascended the staircase to find three bedrooms, one was his parents', the other was for guests, and the one at the back of the house was Aiden's. His room was already furnished, but there were still a few things the teen needed to do in order for him to be comfortable in his new bedroom, and that was to cover the walls in posters. His mother had left two boxes filled with his stuff, so he could decorate his room how he pleased. But decorating his room was not number one on his list of intentions, what was number one was finding out more about that really tall girl, and that meant Aiden needed to get to the backyard as quickly as possible.

He ran down the stairs, making a jump over the railing and grabbing an apple from the kitchen fruit bowl before continuing his acrobatics out the back sliding door and into the backyard, where his gaze met that of the tall girl's once again. Aiden slowed his pace into a casual stroll as he made his way towards the girl, who was standing close to the fence. The sixteen year old took a bite from his apple before asking, "Is staring a habit of yours?" after swallowing his first mouthful of the sweet fruit and smiling pleasantly at the tall girl. She was quite pretty, if you looked past how tall she was, not that her height was a bad thing. Aiden was considered taller than average, but compared to this stranger, he was short, very short. Aiden's curiosities lead him to want to know more about her, and striking up a conversation with her was one way to achieve this goal.

Lokata shush as soon as the strange boy disappeared inside his new house. “Honesty Lokata your worse than human” she patted the husky right on the head. He lick her hand, his bright blue eyes watch his owner with curiosity. “Yeah I know he looks strange but I can’t complain can I?” again the husky lick her hand, soon he left a wet trail right underneath her forearm. She let him go as he please, anymore of his happy tongue and she need to bathe twice to get the smell off. For a while Lokata entertain himself following a butterfly, Madlyn watch him. It was a sweet escape to watch a husky stop a butterfly from fluttering away, soon Lokata gave up and disappeared right into the back of the yard.

She stayed sitting, letting the autumn sun blind her from the view. She like the sun when it wasn’t on her face, so she stood and walk over towards a tree, engulfing right under the shade instantly to stay away from the sun. Had she have been paying mind to her new neighbor she’d made aware that he be standing near their fence that separated their house in between. The sound of the voice broke her away once more from staring out into the horizon viewed set in front of her. “Yeah on an off chance someone moves next to us than, yeah I guess so” she shrug, she narrowed her eyes at the male. Strangely, awkward, weird, but a typically teen. “What do they call you?”

my bad for the muse is going down

Aiden Springfield was in high spirits that afternoon, as he had moved into a new house, without any uneasy feelings, an unusual thing for Aiden, but it did not leave the teen feeling anxious as it would normally, as Aiden had been able to quickly make an introduction to his new house, and make his way outside with a healthy snack to introduce himself again, but this time it was to a person, although he hadn't actually said anything in the form of an introduction just yet, but to say ones name to another was to let the other know they were alive, and if it weren’t for Aiden's breathing, how would the girl know he was alive. A weird thought to ponder within Aiden's mind, but he was a musical genius according to his parents, and every genius is a little clinically insane in one way or another. "They call me Aiden Springfield. What do they call a young spirit like yourself?" Exclaimed the sixteen year old, as he let himself bow while s dopey grin covered his face. If Aiden was wearing a top hat while bowing, he would have taken it off and spun it around, his confidence never went unnoticed, and that was when he was confident enough.

The musician was curious about his neighbour, was her family magical just like his family? It would not be any sort of surprise to the teen if his new neighbours were also of the magical variety as the vibe Aiden was getting from the girl indicated to him there was more to her than just being extremely tall. Aiden wanted to explore this possibility as much as he could while he still had the chance. "Would you like to come inside for some tea? That is, unless another guy has taken up your afternoon." Said the sixteen year old, as he took another bite from his delicious apple. Luckily his mother had already unpacked the furniture and brought some groceries. Aiden knew what they would be having for dinner that night too, which was his favourite meal, chicken salad and fries, for desert they would be having chocolate chip cookies and milk, it was the meal his mother always cooked when they moved house, she made it because it was Aiden’s absolute favourite, and it calmed him down in no explainable way.

Confused, the girl watch the man taking her time to dephice the stranger. "My name is Madlyn, just Madlyn" her mom called her Maddy, Joe use to call her that too, now no one spoken that name since last year. She rather like them calling her by her name anyways, only mom could call her that now. She took in the air and let out slowly as the new comer spoke to her some more. She like his name Aiden, she knew an Aiden once back home in Ireland. He was best friend's with Stormy little brother. Stormy, hmmm, she miss her part giant friend so much. One of these days she ought to go visit her somehow, maybe after school was over? Really it's hard to make plans, when your barley old enough and every summer you were drag back to America. To see family mostly, but to be a little closer to Mandela too.

"No, I don't think any guys made plan with me just yet" she look out to the field than down the road. Most houses were separated by acres and acres of land. She stood up from the rubbish ground. "You know your asking a part giant to go eat with you right?" she stared at the odd boy. "I mean really, you think you parents will approve me going to eat with you? Or sip tea?!" tea was dinner, but she's always heard dinner used at home and not tea. Sounded funny when you meet someone and they say tea instead of dinner. She had a weird fatigue feeling in her stomach when he smiled a her. Really stupid feeling, reminded her of Joe. She tried hard no to blush, really hard not to blush. Stupid boys, gawd she needed a life.

Aiden Springfield clapped his hands together at Madlyn's answer, she had no other plans, so he was going to invite her into his new home, which he had first laid eyes on not ten minutes ago. The musician was not quite sure of what kinds of tea his mother had brought yet, but surely there would be a variety, and Madlyn would like something they had, right? "Wonderful, I'll meet you at the front door in ten." Said the teenager, before turning around to throw the core of his finished apple as far out into the open as he could, and nodding to himself in satisfaction when he threw it further than originally thought. It was not an unusual thing for Aiden Hanley Springfield to underestimate himself, and he had done it moments earlier when he expected himself to throw his apple only a few short meters. "I'll see you in a little while. Cheerio, for now, miss." Exclaimed the wizard, as he took a glance around his shoulder towards Madlyn, and flashed a bright smile in her direction before running back inside the depths his new house.

The teen rushed inside, in a hurry to figure out what teas were in the house, and make the tea. The sixteen year old, opened one of the quaint kitchen cupboards, to find they only contained two sorts of tea, Apple and Rhubarb tea and Green tea with Lemon. "This will do." Aiden muttered to himself, as he took the box of Apple and Rhubarb tea from the cupboard, while alternately obtaining the pink, flowery tea set from below the sink. One would say, a weird place to keep an expensive tea set, Aiden thought it was an adequate hiding place to keep something expensive. He added a proper amount of tea leaves into the teapot, before pouring in hot water. Luckily for the hyperactive music addict, all he needed to do after that was place two tea cups on the kitchen table and answer the door. A task that allowed Aiden a quick stop at the mirror, to tidy up his wavy locks of hair before opening his front door with perfect timing, just as Madlyn was arriving. "Hey stranger." Were the next words to escape from Aiden's lips, as he stood in the doorway, softening an already quiet giggle underneath his hand.

Madlyn had no clue what just happen here. She went from asking a question to the boy leaving her standing there astonish. She guess in his world no means yes, and yes means what the heck? How do you even come to that conclusion? She turn around facing away from his house and stride normally to her own house. She looked inside from the doorway, Jackie was busy playing with Lokata. When the smaller girl looked up at her sister, she question if she should run or not. Jackie hadn't a clue of her sister was done chasing her. "I'll be right back, okay don't let anyone else in the house" she closed the door and retrace her steps right back near the fence.

Aiden was nowhere outside this time. She groan, there was no might of will power in her for to do this. She has less of a history being invited over someone house, so it was no surprise there she hadn't a clue how to approach his front steps. When she finally talk her way out of being nervous, she made it to his front door step barley her usual self. Madlyn cleared her mind of absolutely everything, doing that meant she wouldn't say anything to cause herself being embarrassed. When he open the door, Aiden goofy smile greeted her at first sight, Merlin this boy was crazy looking. "Sup, so you wanted me over here? And..." she waited twiddling her long fingers between calm palms, she felt stupid staring down at him. He was tall, but not near her height, so she sort of look silly compare to him.

The gaze, and attention span of the sixteen year old was focused on the part-giant girl by the name of Madlyn, who was standing on his porch, probably expecting to be invited inside the house of Aiden Springfield, and that was what the teenager planned to do. Aiden had never intentionally been rude to others, in fact, the teen was mind mannered, and polite when the situation called for it, it was when the sixteen year old did not feel the need to impress, was when he showed any sign of his true personality. One might expect Aiden's true personality to be evil and demented, at least that was how the cliché's went, but Aiden did not have a violent bone in his body, nor a single thought of acting in any way cruel to another living being. He was truly just a child, basically. A teenager that hadn't quite gotten over the happiness of their childhood just yet, which meant the wizard, had made the effort to clutch onto whatever ounce of his childhood he could when his teenage hormones started to make themselves relevant through an unwanted introduction.

On that note, Aiden bowed again and moved to his right, leaving his front doorway empty for Madlyn to enter his quaint home. "Ladies first, miss." Said the teen, as he waited for Madlyn to walk into his new home. It was then the whereabouts of Aiden's parents became apparent within the sixteen year old's mind. He hadn't noticed their presence when he had made the first arrival into his new bedroom fifteen minutes earlier, so where were they? The most logical assumption Aiden could make was they had left to take a walk, they did that rather often. This was not a bad thing, as it meant Aiden was alone in the house with Madlyn, it meant they could have a tea party without any awkward and unexpected interruptions by his mother or father. Aiden traced Madlyn's footsteps inside, only quicker, and the teen found himself at the neatly set up kitchen table with enough time to pull out Madlyn's chair for her before sitting across from her. Now Aiden needed to start some sort of conversation, but unfortunately, nothing crossed his mind, and he ended up just pouring some of the Apple and Rhubarb tea into Madlyn's cup and then his own, watching the red liquid as he poured it into his pink tea cup, while an air of silence graced the pleasant kitchen.
