Robert stood at the bottom of the grand staircase, the one that every room finally led to in one way or another. He was dressed in a formal suit. Here he was waiting for his girlfriend to arrive. He had only ever attended the yule ball once, and that was many years ago, with Larissa. Larissa had transferred to Durmstrang now though, which left Robert and Rhi together, without any obsticals. He had missed his time away from Rhi, and was glad to be attending the ball with her this year. He watched as other couples past him, and he waited with his arms behind his back, his hair combed neatly, for her to arrive.

Rhi sighed as she walked her way towards the top of the grand staircase..Many classmates of hers glanced her way admirably because of her gown..They waved and cheered which Rhi almost felt shy..She had especially saved this gown for tonight..It's their first yule ball together..Rob and her..She had reached the staircase now and paused as she look for her boyfriend..She had heard Larissa had transferred to Durmstrang for good to which she sighed with relief..They had been through a lot already because of Slytherin veela..She smiled as she saw Rob..She didn't call him but let her eyes have their fill as she took in his look..He looked more handsome than before and she could not believe they would be going together..

Robert turned to see Rhianne. He was speechless. As she walked he watched in amazement at not her outfit, but her. He walked the last few steps, and met her at the bottom of the staircase, his hands resting on her hips. "You look beautiful" he said, leaning to kiss her forehead. He took hold of one of her hands, and lead her through the school, towards the great hall. As they walked, he turned to her, "You nervous?" he gave her a smile.

Rhi smiled as Rob turned to look her way..She descend the steps slowly,breathing in time with each step..Rob walked towards the bottom of the steps and meet her there..Placing his hands on her hips,she smiled sweetly.."You look beautiful" he said, leaning to kiss her forehead.."Thanks..",she whispered.. He took hold of one of her hands, and lead her through the school, towards the great hall. As they walked, he turned to her, "You nervous?" he gave her a smile..Rhi just nodded and turned to look at him.."How about you??You nervous??",she asked in turn..Students turned to look at the newly arrived pair,guys throwing admiring glances at her and jealous stares at Rob..

Robert grinned "Of course i'm not nervous" he said, looking down at her. "Ive done this loads of times before" he winked, leading her through the great hall. He ignored the other girls as they looked at him as he passed, before turning Rhianne in his arms and holding her close to him. He looked over her shoulder, watching the other couples as they danced, and remembered something as something pressed into his chest. Pausing, he took a step back from Rhianne, and put his hand into his jacket pocket. He knew there was something he had to do here. He pulled out a small red velvet box, before taking Rhianne's hand and pulling her to the side of the hall. "I need to ask you something" he said, loud enough to be heard over the music.

Rhi smiled as Robert said that he was not nervous..She was already thankful enough not to speak again till they reached the Great Hall..Her nerves were already in a jumble and butterflies on her stomach..They passed other couple who were already there before she turned to face Rob..She leaned her head on his chest as they danced to the music until she felt him stopped dancing..She looked up to him in question when Rob pulled her to the side of the hall,his hand pulling something out of his jacket..She looked on with question until came into her view a red velvet box and Rob speak out again.."I need to ask you something" he said, loud enough to be heard over the music..Rhi nodded,"Hmm?Yeah,sure..",she asked nervously,her eyes not taking off its gaze on the box..
