Rebecca Koshiba was grumpy. She was hungry, but she didn't want to get out of bed yet to go to the Great Hall and get food. That required energy. Something she seemed to lack this morning. She was refusing to even open her eyes, something she did all the time back at Eden's, she would usually just send Pita in to wake her up, but right now - she suddenly remembered - she was not at Eden's, she was in Hogwarts, in her dorm room trying futilely to stay asleep. However it did not seem to be working and Bex eventually got out of bed, realising that it was quite impossible for her to actually stay in there all day. Not if she wanted to eat in any case. So, she got out of bed, noticing that most of her dorm-mates were up and about already. She shrugged it off, she mostly ran at her own pace anyway, she didn't really like talking and they pretty much figured that out within the first five minutes of meeting her. She didn't mind Paige though, she did get annoyed when Paige kept finding new ways of making her stay in any given conversation, but she kind of liked that Paige cared enough to want to talk to her. Though she did like her peace and quiet, that was usually where Alan came in. With him taking all of Paige's attentions, Bex could easily sneak away to somewhere way more peaceful. The only problem arose when she ran into that Dexter kid. He was far, far too excitable for Bex's taste and the blonde's tended to rub each other the wrong way. As easy as that was though, Bex was sure that the other blonde was trying to annoy her out of spite for something she had done in a previous life. She really just did not like that boy at all. He was stupid and annoying.
As Bex walked out of the common room and sighed, she had no energy today and she thought it might have something to do with the fact that she just had not gone to sleep that night. She had been finding it hard to sleep since getting here. She wasn't used to sharing a room with anyone. Now she was sharing with a whole group. She wasn't even used to seeing kids her own age around. Now she was surrounded by them. Classes were due to start soon and Bex had to wonder whether or not she was going to be ready for this. She was so involved in her own thoughts that she did not even notice that she had stopped in the middle of a hall until she bumped right into someone. She frowned and looked up to see a boy about her own age standing in front of her. Nice. She bumped into some-one, though it was probably both their fault to be honest. Seeing as she had been brought up a specific way, she looked him in the eye and bowed her head slightly before him. The appropriate degree for an apology. Damn them Japanese instructors. So damn proper. "I apologise. That was careless of me." She stated, before waiting patiently for the reply.
