Remy had spent a lot of his time over the past few years making friendship bracelets with his younger sisters, and had developed a level of interest in the arts that was fairly standard for a homeschooled teenage boy. It wasn't like there was a whole lot else to do when you were stuck at home, other than rereading the same books over and over. Ever since he'd started at Hogwarts, Remy felt like his mum looked at him differently. It had been hard to connect with the other muggle kids his age too, so Remy's entire social circle had shrunk to a pair of preteen girls who only half-believed him about unicorns being real. He hadn't really changed his behaviour much since returning to Hogwarts, so his loner tendencies drew him to the arts room where he could at least feel like he was participating in something with other people. Minding his own business and finding some tools he needed for woodcarving, Remy fished out the half-finished sculpture he was working on and looked for somewhere to sit. He managed to find a spot that wasn't too close to encroach on anyone's space, while also being within the vicinity of the general artsy student populace just so he wouldn't look too much of a loner, and began working on his piece.

Dahlia was trying to remember her lines. It wasn't for any major purpose. It wasn't as though there was any school play or musical to put on. But she wanted to learn some things she could use for auditions, should they come up. There was at least some sort of theatre community in the wizarding world and even without classical training, Dahlia would at least try. The lines had to come together, though. "Be still, my beating heart, for I...for I..." she trailed off. Admittedly, it was a pretty uninspired monologue. That review in the paper had probably been right about this play. Terrible. "I fear the fleeting exhilaration of happiness, as the fall is too painful to...nope, I should try something else."

Dahlia shook her head, looking over and seeing - was that Remy? Wow. She thought he'd left the school for good. She pointed at him, using him as a guide for the other one she'd been working on. "I am so resolved. I am so ready. There is a world and I will see it. And you won't stop me - oh, is that woodcarving? Neat!" The lines were clearly not coming together today.
