Austiin sighed happily and continued walking around, he was shopping with his son and even though he knew that Tommy didn't like being dragged around, Austiin had no choice today. Cameron was working, Abby was sick and Stephanie and Speed were in Australia, what was Austiin going to do? Let Tommy stay at the bar with Cam? Let Tommy be killed by his angry-when-sick sister? Or ship to Australia? Austiin had to admit, he was close to apparating to Australia and leaving Tommy with Speed and Steph, but decided that a responsible father would take his son shopping too, besides, Tommy did need new clothes.

"Okay, Tommy. I was thinking we could redesign the whole bathroom, because look at this towel right here," Austiin said, grabbing a towel and showing it in the direction he assumed Tommy would be. "It's blue, well its actually ceraulean, but really soft and fluffy, while our bathroom lay-out is reds, whites and pinks, so if I get this towel, I'll have to replace all the red towels and get the bathroom redesigned, but if we keep the red towels, I'll miss these really soft blue towels..." He explained, the red towels were not as soft and fluffy as these blue towels, and Austiin was always redesigning the house out of boredom, or he would find something new and decide that it would not match the room he got it for. "It's so hard to decide..." He muttered sadly, he turned to Tommy, deciding that he would let Tommy decide the decision. "What do... Tommy?" He asked, looking around.

Austiin's heart stopped. His nine year old son was up to his tricks once again. Tommy had a game he liked to play. 'Let's see how paranoid and scared I can make Daddy today!', was what he called it, and for good reason. Austiin was very worrying when it came to his son, it was his first and only child, sure Austiin adopted him and sort of jumped into the whole parenting thing blindly, but he thought that he was a good father, though he did seem to lose Tommy often. "This is why we can't have nice things..." He muttered, putting the towel back and starting to look for Tommy.

I am on the unsorted situation, just a matter of waiting. :)

Tommy rolled his eyes as he followed Austiin through the streets. He was a few paces behind his father because Austiin often stopped in front of shops and Tommy had had enough of running into him, his belts would always stab him and it didn't feel nice. But that was what Tommy got for having a dad that liked spiky belts. "Daaaaaaaaaaad." He groaned, looking at his shoes sadly. This was getting ridiculous, Austiin had dragged him everywhere on the Earth and for what? Towels. They had been everywhere looking for red towels, and Tommy had seen many nice red towels, but everytime Austiin would that they were the 'wrong material' or 'wrong colour red'. What annoyed Tommy more was the fact that there were nice soft and fluffy red towels right next to the blue ones, did Austiin care? Obviously not.

Tommy glared slightly. Any excuse to redecorate something, Tommy was sure that if he wasn't a living and breathing being, Austiin would redecorate him too. "But I like the bathroom..." He grumbled, he already had sore feet, all he wanted to do was go home or get ice-cream, like Austiin promised. "But there are red towels, right there!" He cried, holding his arms out to the red towels. When he noticed that Austiin was paying next to no attention to him, he crossed his arms across his chest stubbornly. "Fine then..." He muttered, deciding to play a game with his dad. Tommy knew that Austiin didn't really like the game, but what was Tommy going to do? Let Austiin drag him into some crazy re-designing scheme? Heck no.

Tommy smirked slightly as he turned the corner and out of his father's sight. He knew that Austiin would find him in a few minutes, maybe an hour, but the fun of the game was stalking Austiin as he attempted to stalk Tommy. Tommy liked seeing how worried he could make Austiin before Austiin started dying from paranoia. But Tommy's plans were shot dead when he tripped over something and hit the ground, hard. "Owww..." He muttered sadly, looking at his grazed hands sadly, he had not fallen over since living with Austiin, Austiin was always very careful with Tommy and never allowed him to be hurt, so Tommy had forgotten what it felt like to feel pain, but now he remembered, and he didn't like it, not one bit.

x-Look all sorted, Yay!
For Alexia, today was a pretty decent day. When she had gotten up this morning, the sun had been shining through her window. It was nice when she got to wake up like that. She loved waking up to the sun on her face. She had woken up at about seven o'clock and had gone to work. Again, that was nice. She did like work sometimes, though often all the filing did annoy her to the core, but she usually got over it. Like she did every other time. Today of course was no excpetion. She went into work, like she always did, and continued with all the paper work she had started. It was a nice day outside, just what she liked, so she opened the windows in order to get alittle sunshine into the Auror offices. The liked to brighten up her little space, to make it feel more homely, it reminded her that she was a person, and not just a thing, like some ministry officials would have her think otherwise. But she never put up with there nonsense there was no need for her too. However, when one of the girls from administration came to bring her more files, she sighed in furstration. Why did they have to keep bringing her more files? Was that all they needed her for? To just file everything. She closed her eyes and sat back in her chair. This was unfair treatment, and she was not going to stand for it. So she kicked her chair backwards and walked out of the office, a few glaring eyes watching her as she passed. But Lexi didn't care, she was going out to lunch, and they couldn't stop her.

Lexi smiled when she reached the fresh air of Brightstone. The minute she had got outside the Ministry she had apparated herself to the beautiful shopping area. They had many different types of shops here and she had never tried any of the restaurants or cafes, so she thought now might be as good a time as any. She did like to go shopping every now and again, it kept her active. Besides, she often needed to get out and go shopping, just so that she remembered she actually did have a social life. Like today, most days weren't like this though, she usually stayed at work and completed her files, but today was just too much and she absolutely had to get away. It was just her mood today. She was in a shopping, go out for lunch in the nice weather sort of mood. Which was more often then not a bit annoying, because when she was in this sort of mood, the only thing she could stand to do was shop. Luckily it was a rare mood.

The last time she had gone shopping, she had met a guy named Andrew. He was really funny and thought that she was cute for having unusual moods. Though when he had first laughed she had thought he was mocking her, after all he was British and she being Australian, it was just the most logical thing she could think of for why he had been laughing at her. Though of course he had explained himself later and she had forgiven him, though she was sure to remember that he had laughed at her and that he now owed her a laugh.

As she was walking to one of her favourite stores however, she noticed a smallish thing in the middle of the footpath. When she got closer, she recognised the shape of a small child, lying acorss the footpath, with his head up, looking at his hands.
What on Earth is that kid doing? She wondered as she walked closer. Looking down at him, she could see blonde hair and blue eyes. His face was angled in a manner so it made it possible for her to see his whole face. It looked familiar but she wasn't sure where she had seen it before. Maybe when this childer was younger? But she couldn't picture the face. "Hey kid, are you okay?" She asked as she leaned down to get a closer look at his hands. Not that she was that tall, so really it was unneccessary. She couldn't shake the feeling that she knew this kid from somewhere.

What a tops kid :tut:
Tommy looked up slightly, finally taking his attention away from his sore hands. He had little tears streaking down his face, he had always been a little dramatic and now was no different. But he soon frowned. He had just fallen over, he was crying and his hands were sore, and this woman had asked him if he was 'okay', it was obvious that he was not okay and he wanted attention to make him feel better. "No." He answered, picking himself up, careful to not allow his palms to touch the ground. "My hands hurt..." He muttered sadly, looking at his hands as if it was the end of the world.

But Tommy soon shook his head and looked back at the rather short woman, she was taller than Tommy, but a whole head shorter than Austiin, plus some. "Alexia?" He asked, looking at the woman very closely, his blue eyes scanning her and looking into his memories to see if she fit the picture. He was right, this was Alexia McSomething and she was his adopted fathers best friend and the lady that never failed to get him ice-cream and chocolates. That was why Tommy remembered her so well, she always gave him chocolate and ice-cream, even if Austiin said no. "Do you have chocolate?" He asked abruptly, forgetting about his sore hands at the prospect of getting creamy chocolate. "Not the ugly fake chocolate, the really nice creamy one." He clarified, he didn't want just any chocolate, he had high standards for his chocolate needs and would not allow himself to go without and he never settled for second best.

And thanks for the weather update, could've been anything xD

x-smart arse, i just thought it would be easier, it wasn't just for you ya know.
Alexia looked down as the boy began to whinge about his sore hands. What was he like ten years old, and he was having a whinge because he had only mildly grazed his hands. What a spoiled little kid. She couldn't believe the way he was acting. No child of hers would ever act this way. It had to be bad parenting or something, most kids always grazed themselves and never whinged about it. He had only grazed them, it was only one layer of skin gone. If that. That sort of injury wouldn't even need magical healing, it was quite capable of doing that itself. Why the heck is he crying? She could not understand this no matter how hard she tried, yet she still could not shake the feeling that she not only knew this child, but had seen this display before. It was so weird, it was right on the tip of her tongue and she was actually getting kind of annoyed that she couldn't remember. That is until the boy said her name.

"Ah, I'm sorry, but how do you..." She trailed off, she had noticed the boys feet and they were wearing some interesting shoes. Designer brand, and this designer brand never worked kids shoes. She knew of only one person who could get these custom made and that person was her bestfriend Austiin Hayes. He wore nothing but this brand, although Alexia didn't particularly like it, she too had a few pairs at home in her wardrobe, to appease Austiin if nothing else. So that meant that this child had to be young Tommy Hayes, Austiin's adopted son. how the heck had she forgotten that?! Though he was alot older and did look quite different. Perhaps it was the shoes?
"Oh, you're Tommy right?" she asked, just to be extra special sure.

When Tommy asked her for chocolate she shook her head. That was to be expected of course, he had nearly run her broke the last time she had seen him. He kept wanting her to buy more chocolate and she had stupidly complied. This time however she was stronger willed than she had been previously and she was not going to let this pass. "Maybe I do... maybe I don't, what's it to you?" she asked as she crossed her arms and looked away. She was playing a game with him and wanted to see what he would do.

Sure sure :tut:

Tommy noticed that Alexia was looking at his shoes, they were very nice and comfortable shoes, so Tommy quite liked them and tried his best to keep them clean. "Yes." He answered. Tommy was known for his short, but not always sweet replies, he didn't see the point in wasting his energy in a long reply to someones stupid question. Of course he was Tommy, how else would he know her? Did she often know young children/ Or was she just stupid? Tommy looked away and rolled his eyes, making sure that Alexia wouldn't have seen him, if she did, she would surely tell Austiin, who would then smack Tommy on the bottom and Tommy didn't like that. He hated being yelled at for being naughty, though most of the time people deserved it. It wasn't Tommy's fault that Austiin had sent him to a muggle school, which meant that it wasn't his fault when he started fights with the muggle kids, it was Austiin's. It wasn't Tommy's fault that Austiin insisted on dragging him around to go shopping, which meant it wazs not Tommy's fault that he would play hide-and-seek at the most inopportune times, it was Austiin's. Which led Tommy to one conclusion. It must be Austiin's fault that he was stuck with a stupid lady, if Austiin had not befriended this neanderthal, he would not have been seeking her attention, and chocolate. "I am Tommy Hayes, Austiin's adopted son." He added, just in case Alexia was not mentally smart enough to understand his previous statement and put two and two together as to the fact whether he was related to Austiin or not.

Tommy had a mental breakdown. How could Alexia deny him dairy treats? So what if he was lactose intolerent? Who was she to deny him happiness!? Tommy wanted to push the small woman down, he wanted to yell at her for her rudeness, how could she do this to him? She was exactly like Cameron. She deserved to be pushed down stairs, she deserved to have books thrown at her, she deserved to be spat at, just like Cameron. Though it was slightly different in this case, Alexia had the ability to make Tommy happy again, but Cameron? If he was in the same room as Austiin, Austiin would pay him more attention than Tommy, so Cameron had no chance of making Tommy happy, ever. Tommy started sniffling and more tears streamed down his face. Whenever he used this face, people melted, he always looked so angelic and sad, they simply had to help him. "Please...?" He asked, his voice a little wimper, his eyes two big oceans and his little blonde hair and adorable face made it all the more harder to deny him what he wanted. Chocolate.

Alexia looked at Tommy and sighed. She knew he wanted chocolate and with the look he was giving her, she couldn't help but to falter and sigh. She looked at him and rolled her eyes. "FIne I'll give you chocolate, come on." She said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him along to the store. "What kind of chocolate do you want?" She asked as she walked around the shop. Though as she thought about it, she began to wonder where Austiin was. She hadn't seen him with the boy and she knew that Austiin would never leave Tommy by himself. Had the kid run away? She had to make sure she didn't let Tommy out of her sight. Austiin would kill her if anything happened to him. Whether he did run away or not.

Lexi looked at him again. "Did you run away? From Austiin?" She asked as she sighed and turned to kneel infront of him. She may not have been very tall, but she was still taller than him.

Tommy smirked, he had won, he was getting chocolate, nice creamy chocolate. It was about time, Alexia had taken a very long time to finally get him chocolate, but it was okay, she was now getting him chocolate, Tommy liked her again, for now. He allowed the small woman to lead him to a store that sold lots and lots of chocolate, strawberry filled chocolate, nut filled chocolate and just nice normal chocolate aand mmany other chocolates, he was very happy and it showed, he was no longer crying and his smile was great. But it would be better if Austiin was here too, though Tommy would never admit it, ever. ''I want that one!" He said, pointing to a large block of chocolate, it was supposed to be very creamy and it looked very nice, he wanted it and since Alexia was offering, he was going to hhave iit. ''That one right there."

Tommy looked skeptically at Alexia, what was she getting at? Was she to rrefuse him chocolate if he had run-away? Why did she have to know what he was doing and why he was here? He glared slightly, if she was threatening his chocolate, he was going to scream, very loudly. But he decided to be cheek instead, now that he could see tthe chance of having chocolate, he was hhappier. ''You buy me my chocolate, and I will tell you where my Austiin is.'' He said smuggly, purposely not calling Austiin, 'daddy' like he usually would have when happy, he rarely let people now that he called Austiin daddy at aanytime.
