Irene was impatient for the day to end. Work had kept her extremely busy over the past few weeks and she had been unable to see Link even though she had been thinking about him nearly everyday. Instead, she had been dealing with a bunch of splinching cases out in Wellington. With the weekend arriving, Irene had sent Link an owl to invite him to her house so that they could spend some time together.

With one last glance at the clock, Irene put the last of her reports in her outbox, glanced at her still quite full in box and left her office. She stepped outside of the Ministry and apparated to within a block of her home. She lived in a small town outside of Wellington, not too far from the school but not close enough that she had to deal with the students on a daily basis. She walked toward her house, which she had just recently bought. She had just put the finishing touches on it right before the summer had begun and hadn't even had any visitors yet. Part of Irene hoped that Link would already be waiting for her, though she knew that he may very well wait awhile since he knew that she had work.

It was very rare for Link to ever show up when someone wanted him. No one can blame his action, how he played so distant and unaffected by the way he treated others. Link always put his feelings before anyone else, especially when it came to a female. So when the day came and Irene asked for Link, he hadn't mention telling her that he went back to school, for his personal reasons only. He also left out the part were he was chosen as a attende for the twi-wizard tournament, so when the letter reached him unexpectedly Link read it carefully word by word, sentence by sentence. It was a brief letter, asking for Link, to come on over...Link smirked it felt good to be wanted, especially by a woman he felt like he was growing strong feelings for. It felt good to be wanted, in another sense that made Link feel a little half hearted, so what he do, like any young fellow who wanted to escape just for a little while Link apparated to Irene address. Leaning up against a tree, and well hidden by the area that surround him, Link waited till Irene came home, well seconds before she arrived, but he didn't emerge out of hiding spot. Link just felt like observing her just for a little while, grinning till he made his appearance.

Irene stepped up onto her porch and looked around to be sure that none of the neighbors were looking. She knew the other wizards in the area, so it wasn't them she was worried about. She was really looking to be sure that none of her muggle neighbors would see her pull out her wand to unlock her door. Luckily, the closest muggle neighbor was two houses away, but the woman was so nosy, Irene wouldn't have been surprised to see her wearing those weird contraptions that made muggles able to see far.

Seeing no one around, Irene pulled her wand slightly out of her bag and muttered the reverse of the enchantment she used to lock her door. When she heard the click, she put her wand away and put her hand on the knob. Turning it, Irene stepped inside and left the door ajar while she placed her bag down on her couch. There was a nice breeze coming into the house and she was in no rush to close it off by shutting the door.

Link watched as Irene stepped into her villa, leaving the door slightly open. The same familiar cold stare crossed his face, what he did last summer was still fresh in his mind. Why were female so reckless? He asked himself, shaking his head to the side as he apparated right in front of her door. Without making so much as a sound, Link slither inside closing the door behind him, not making a fuss when it close without alerting the owner there was a intruder inside the house. Link lurked around, listening carefully as to which room Irene was occupying at the moment. When he realise she hadn't gone into the master bedroom, Link walked in looking around at the very decorated room. Link could tell Irene had elegance taste, something he wasn't used to since the flat he was renting had nothing but a poster bed similar to the ones in Hogwarts. Link located a few photos that caught his attention, one photo he recognise Ioan right next to his sister. Link smirked to think he was now dating his sister, Link chuckle a little. As he moved on towards were she slept, a bed laid across her room, Link couldn't tell if it was queen or king but it did look comfortable. Taking his blazer off he set it along a chair, and sat on the soft cushion bed waiting for Irene to finally make her way towards her master bedroom.

Irene turned around to head back to the door and shut it before she headed back upstairs, but when she arrived it was already shut. Must've been the wind, she thought to herself and shrugged. Stepping out of her heels, Irene headed upstairs to look in her closet and see if she wanted to change into anything. She hummed as she walked toward her bedroom.

As she stepped into the bedroom, Irene jumped slightly as she was shocked to see a male figure inside. Her fingers were already lifting her wand and she was beginning to mutter a quick curse when she realized that it was Link. A soft smile crossed her lips as her hand reached to her heart which was racing. "You scared the hell out of me..." she muttered as she walked over to him and smacked him on the arm. He had already made himself quite comfortable and Irene warmed a bit inside, happy that he was here and well and her happiness was reflected in her cool blue eyes. "I...I wasn't sure you'd come" she admitted with a crooked smile as she stood over him.

"Oh you missed me.." his question sounding more like a statement already recognising the obvious that she had missed him. His eyes were serious, but his nose was perked and his lips were still holding his familiar mischievous smirked grabbing the hem of her jacket. Link realise she was holding her wand, a light chuckle escaping from the depths of his cold pale lips. "What were you thinking of doing? Curse me? Jinxed or?" he asked a little humour in his voice as he spoke. Yet he wonder what she was capable of doing if she did hit Link with a curse or the means of any attack. Come to think about it, Link couldn't recall the last time he was attack, by anything. Since being in France, prohibited to wonder off like he was used to doing and the fact the schools was secured and locked out. Link was basically contained till the tournament was over. "Lucky I came at the right time..."

Irene rolled her eyes and smirked as she touched Link's cheek with her finger. "Uh-huh, and you know you missed me too" she said easily as she placed her wand back in her pocket. When Link wondered aloud what she had been about to do, Irene laughed heartily and flirtaciously said, "Wouldn't you like to know." She had been taught in a school that tended to favor the dark arts and therefore had learned a few good jinxes and curses to protect herself.

Link was holding onto the bottom of her jacket, so Irene stepped back a bit and took off her jacket, throwing it onto another chair she had in a corner. Turning around, Irene walked over to her queen sized bed and perched herself on the very edge of it clad in just a t-shirt and jeans. "What've you been up to?" she asked curiously as she crossed one leg over the other. She knew what she'd be doing but Irene had no idea what Link had been up to during the time they had been apart.

Link sat at one corner of the bed and chuckle, as he lower his head to rest it on Irene lap. Looking up he stare into her perfectly blue optics, reaching up to touch the side of her face. "Wouldn't you like to know." he teased again while touching her facial features now, making it seem so sureal that he was here. "I've been in France, heard red whine was good for the heart." he try to mimick the french accent, dropping his voice to a whisper singing a few words in french. Even if Link didn't want to be at that school, he was a lot more observant than those truly give him credit for. Link did attended the class, but kept silent whenever he did go. Girls, French girls would come up to him, but he rarley pay no mind. Link never had time to associate, even if he felt he was changing just a little, he remain to keep to himself. It was natural for him to be that way.

Irene rolled her eyes as he repeated her comment to her while he laid his head in her lap. Her hand moved toward his hair and she brushed her hand through it as his touched her face. She listened to him, blue eyes glued to his gray ones as if she couldn't get enough of him. She was surprised to hear he'd been so far away. He hadn't mentioned leaving to France, but then again Irene hadn't asked him. She never asked too many questions.

Pulling out her wand again, Irene pointed it towards the two windows in the room one by one where the shades were open and used her wand to draw them closed. "France huh?" she asked as her hand moved from his hair to his mouth. "Meet any cute French girls?" she asked with a playful pout on her face.

Link felt her hands brushed through his hardly noticeable chestnut curls. His hair was usually smooth, and brushed back away from his face and in place. "Well define cute?" he said while his eyebrows knit together, his words still in teasing mode. "I'm kidding" he said softly, his thumb brushing down her pouty lips. "Just an attendee for the twi-wizard tournament-" he shrugged. In some ways he had wanted to be chosen but only to prove something to himself. What others didn't see in Link, what Leah may have mocked the last time he saw her. Leah. Link closed his eyes, as they shutter open again. Leah hated him, Link didn't blame her one bit. How engrossed he acted towards her, but she didn't understand. No one ever did, again no pity. "I sort of went back to Hogwarts. Not really go back, because I sorted of hot chosen to attend" he said, his tongue chilled but sweet just for Irene. He wanted badly to be different for Irene, if that ment acting unusual than let it be.

"You better be" Irene said in a mock angry tone as she continued to listen to Link speak. She was slightly surprised to hear that he was still in school. She'd always known he was younger than her but she hadn't realized that he could perhaps still be young enough to be in school. That meant that they were nearly five years apart in age. Not that it really mattered to Irene. It was a little too late for that anyway. Irene could feel how drawn she was to Link and knew that it would take a lot to change those feelings.

Leaning over, Irene kissed Link on the lips and then pulled back, looking into his gray eyes. She knew he was probably more than a little dissappointed that he hadn't been chosen to prove himself in the tournament, but she didn't really share that sentiment. " I won't say I'm sorry you weren't chosen" she began in a whisper, "people have died in that tournament..." It was better that it was someone else's worry. She bit her lip and looked away a bit, her hand caressing his cheek.

Link smirked, still caressing her soft skin tone. Its weird to act this way, you know different. Even if he still had the urge to cause destruction, mayhem more like it. Sort like an endurline rush, a part of him he could not just turn away. This side he had known so well, but the other side rarely came out of Link. Only a few witness this side of Link, he could only count two, maybe three if he was counting Zion. Link had thought about this before, he wonder where his eyes wandering when he caught the eyes of dazzling blues staring right at him. Those eyes, it made him weak, Link closed his eyes for a moment again, this time he caught the lips of Irene, so soft and sweet. Link grace her lips back, spilling as much passion he could ever offer a person. She makes me feel weak.

Link quickly open his eyes, when he heard the next few words. "Hmmmm, so your saying that you didn't want me to be chosen?" he question her so serious now, but not angry at all. "...that you care?" his lips peeled back to a warm smile. A genuine smile he couldn't resist but show her. Merlin must be turning over his grave at this point. Though everyone knows Link deserve to die, well really only his victims that no longer exist. A past he was still leading up till this day.

Irene glanced back at Link as he spoke. She was a bit confused by what he said. Of course she cared, hadn't she made that clear to him before? His smile melted her heart and she couldn't help but smile back. "What is it that the muggles say?...Well, duh" Irene said shaking her head at him. "Of course I care about you." she said as she shifted Link off of her lap so that she could lay beside him.

With her head on her elbow, Irene continued to look over at Link. She surely could stay like this forever. She knew they wouldn't be able to since she would have to go back to work and he would have to go back to school, but at least they would have the weekend together. Taking out her wand, Irene flipped over onto her back and stared at the ceiling, lazily waving her wand around and making some bluebell flames appear. "So...Link, what do you want to do this weekend?" she asked, thinking that she had an idea or two but wondering if he had anything in mind.

Link watched as Irene slipped away his head now resting on the softness of her bed, only to lay next to him. The way she had laid, Link never had done this before, just lay there without much physical contact. But it was more than that, he never had stayed that long because he wanted to. Most of time when he was in a young woman bed they would have a wild and pleasant evening. Though when the morning came he was already half way out the door. Without even a good explanation in where he was going or his whereabouts Link felt like he never really had to do so.

His life had always been that way, go where he went end up wherever he go. Meet who he wanted to meet, kill who he wanted to dispose of…Harsh but the past never lies to Link. Recently he was behaving, he had to anyways. The school was watching him like a hawk. He was still a stranger to the Beauxbaton residents. If someone end up missing though he was sure to never leave a trace as always. “I don’t know love. Whatever you feel like doing..” he went on top over and kissed her deeply this time. More passion than the last time, “I’m feeling a little I don’t …wanting to play.” He smirked teasing her after pulling away from the kiss. His hands now moving up and down her beautiful face.

Irene smiled absentmindedly as Link hovered over her and planted a kiss on her lips. This time the kiss left her a little breathless and she knew it had everything to do with Link. "Hmm..." she said aloud as she considered what she wanted to do first. Right now, she was enjoying the feel of his hands on her face.

She put her hand right over Link's and pressed his hand against her face. "Well, there's plenty I want to do, but maybe we can..." she began flirtatiously but was interrupted by the sound of the front door. There was someone knocking below. Cursing and groaning, Irene looked up into Link's eyes. "Maybe if we ignore it, whoever it is will go away?" she asked aloud, though she knew that probably wouldn't work. On cue, there was another knock on the door.

Link heard the knock on the door, letting his head drop as he cursed along with Irene. "Piss off" he wanted to say but continue to mumble in low audible rants before looking back at Irene again. "You know they're not going to leave us alone" the knocks continued as Link sat back on the bed with the sole of his feet now resting along the wooden floors. "You were expecting someone else?" he asked a little hint of jealousy in his voice claimed at what he was feeling at the moment. Maybe someone much older than Link? He hated to think Irene would be seeing someone else behind his back. Not that any girl ever had done that before, most were tremendously loyal to Link. But Irene was much older than Link, she rarely saw the likes of him. Could happen, Link looked back at Irene with a raised eyebrow still giving her that questionable look. "Well were you?" he asked her.

Irene sat up slowly and narrowed her blue eyes at Link. The words he spoke were innocent enough but his tone seemed to be suggesting something else. It annoyed Irene a little bit and she looked away without another word. The wonderful, flirtacious mood the pair had been in seemed to be taking a turn for the worst.

When Link asked her again, she glanced back at him, crossing her arms over her chest and tossing her hair back behind her shoulder. She looked at his face, with his eyebrow raised. Part of her found his jealousy incredibly hot. It showed that he cared just as much about her as she did about him, even if he wouldn't declare the words aloud. The other part of her, the part that was winning, grew even more annoyed.

"No Link. As a matter of fact, I am not expecting anyone" she said with an eye roll as she got off the bed. As she did so, the knocking stopped and Irene sighed, annoyed that whoever had been there had finally decided to leave now. Hearing the knocking start up again a moment later, Irene headed for the door to her bedroom in icy silence and turned after she'd opened the door. "Want to come too so you can see who's there for yourself?" she asked, her annoyance floating through on the words and left for the living room without waiting for an answer.

Link sucked his teeth in when she responded back. He wasn't satisfied with her answer, standing as he pushed his shoes back onto his feet. He fixed the collar of his shirt, making sure the sides were flat instead of flared standing up like he would wear it most days. When she had asked if Link wanted to escort her to the doors just to see who came unexpectedly, Link could tell she was more annoyed as he was. Whoever decided to come had ruin the part of him he wanted so bad to show Irene. Maybe she not ready to see it, or maybe she not the one to see it. If he had been wrong about girls many time before what make this time any different than the last time. He wonder but decided not to overreact. This one he wasn't going to let go so easily, there had to be a human side of him somewhere. It was just taking him to long to knowledge that side even exist, he knew it had at one point in his pitiful. So why was it so difficult to see it now? He ponder the thoughts some more but before he could even replied with a cold blunt "I'm coming" Irene had already disappeared downstairs. Link cussed some more as he walked out the room. Taking slow steps just to eavesdrop a little as he stayed at the steps. For a while it grew to quiet and it made Link even more frustrated than he was before. Walking down now completely he stopped just by the foyer leaning against the border of another entrance to the livingroom. "Well who is it Irene?" he asked her waiting for her to response. His eyes facing the back of the doorway, her back facing somewhat of Link. He could tell she was talking to someone but couldn't tell who it was or what they were talking about.

Finally, Ioan thought to himself as he heard someone approaching the doorway. It annoyed him to have to wait especially when he knew that Irene was home. She had moved into this home nearly a month ago, but Ioan hadn't visited her yet. Besides, he had been hoping to share some news with her.

As he heard the door open, Ioan began to speak, not even waiting for a greeting from his little sister. "What the hell, Irina? What took you so long?" Ioan said only mildly annoyed now that she had come to the door. The news he had to share was enough to stop him from being too upset with his sister. He heard other movement in the house that wasn't his sister and realized that she must have a guest. "You have company?" he asked curiously, his eyebrow raised.

Irene pulled the door open but stopped when she realized who was standing on the other side of it. It was Ioan, her big brother. Her face went pale as if she had seen a ghost but she quickly tried to recover. "Ioan" she said trying to smile, but failing miserably. This is not happening...this is not happening... Irene thought to herself as she wondered why her brother was here now of all times. His timing couldn't be any worse.

Hearing movement behind her, Irene realized that Link had actually taken her up on her offer and accompanied her downstairs. That only increased her annoyance because it made her think that Link didn't trust her. "Now isn't a good time" she told Ioan, hoping he would simply leave though she knew it would not be that easy to get rid of her brother.

When Irene heard Link ask her a question, she quickly turned her head to him. She had no idea what she should do, but knew that neither guy would leave without finding out who else was with her. With a sigh, Irene opened the door more fully, and waved Ioan inside. Taking a deep breath, Irene quickly introduced the two to each other, not knowing that they may already know each other. "Link...this is my brother, Ioan. Ioan...this is Link" Irene added nervously, her voice lowering in volume as she spoke. "My boyfriend" she added in a near whisper both because she didn't want Ioan to hear and because she still wasn't entirely sure what Link thought of their relationship. She couldn't bring herself to look at her brother.

When Link study Irene closely unsure what she was going next, it took him by surprise when she open the doors to her residence wide enough for him to see. There standing right in front of the doorway, was no one else but Ioan. A wide grin spread lightly only to turn into a smirk. Link stepped right behind Irene and gave her loving kiss. Never should I doubt you, he said only to himself. Only to break away, looking back at Ioan. "Its been a while Ioan.." he said with a chillin' breath. Link couldn't predict what Ioan might do to him, but if he was going to start swinging Link made sure he was ready.

What Ioan hadn't known Link had planned this actually came true. Link had used the bit of information that Ioan gave him to "consequently bump" into Irene. Now she was his, and there was nothing Ioan could do about it. "How's your mate?" he asked a bit amused. Link was loving this more than anyone in this world at the moment. If only he knew what they were close to doing upstairs. Link smirked just thinking about it.

Ioan scowled as he entered the house and saw Link standing there. He heard Irene mumble something under her breath that sounded crazily like she was saying Link was her boyfriend. When Link walked up to Irene and kissed her, Ioan realized that he had heard correctly. His scowl deepened and his blue-green eyes narrowed to near slits.

Ignoring Link for a moment, Ioan spoke rapidly to Irene in their native tongue. "Irina Eºti tu serios? El? Ai vreo idee cât de nebun este asta?" He listened to her reply, crossing his arms across his chest. Finally turning his attention to Link, Ioan was not pleased to see how happy Link looked. He had the feeling that Link was enjoying this immensely.

Link's question reminded Ioan of the reason why he had come in the first place, but now all thoughts of mentioning his wedding were placed on hold. His priority now was to end whatever these two thought they had and now. Ioan may have considered Link to be an acquaintance or even a friend, but he certainly did not want him dating his sister. The guy was unstable in Ioan's opinion and there was no reason for him to be anywhere near Irene. "When are you leaving?" he asked coldly, hinting that he hoped it would be soon. His stance showed that he was prepared to forcibly remove him if necessary.

((Translation: Are you serious Irina? Him? Do you have any idea how crazy this is?))

Irene closed her eyes when Link kissed her in front of her brother, half afraid that Ioan would simply walk up to Link and punch him. It was what he had done to Irene's last boyfriend, and she was surprised at the restraint that her brother seemed to be showing. His anger was definitely growing though. She listened to him and flinched as he spoke to her in Romanian. It was obvious that he didn't want Link to understand, and Irene didn't know what to say in response. She bit her lip and looked down towards the ground, not wanting to meet either Link or Ioan's eyes.

When Link continued talking to her brother, Irene wanted to send Link a message that he should be quiet. He was much too pleased with what was happening and Irene couldn't understand why. She was sick to her stomach and couldn't wait for it all to be done. As soon as Ioan directed himself toward Link, Irene looked up sharply, eyes widening. "Ioan!" she exclaimed.

Link extended his hand to raise Irene chin up. There was no reason to look down unless she was ashamed of being with Link. Which lead to bothering and annoying him the most. Link acted unaffected by Ioan but when he sized him up Link wasn't backing down. The way he was treating Irene, made him even more furious. He pushed Irene away from the scene, and was the first to throw the first hit. "Never" he went for a uppercut to his jawline weaving in and out dodging Ioan blows. "Come on bro thought we was cool? Now all of a sudden I'm dating your sister and you want to act like a little priss" Link striked again this time he aimed for the corner of his lip. To bad he wasn't wearing the band Zion gave him years ago. It would have caused a lot more damage. He continued to duck and hit but caught back with a few blows to the face and possibly his upper torso. Link was leaned and regular for his age, Ioan was tall and built. No matter he did the best he could to kick Ioan ass. Link took a minute to look at Irene, again he was dedicating more to her than most girls. Between the four girls he fell in love, Link couldn't compare to the other tricksters. They had more than what Link was ever going to give a woman. Which was a lot in his eyes.

Up until the point that Link swung at him, Ioan had been keeping his calm. His temper was rising of course but he had been doing his best to keep it in check both because he was in front of his sister and because he had at one point considered Link close to a friend. Now, he had no idea what he would consider Link except someone's arse he wanted to kick.

"You really wanna do this?" Ioan said loudly after Link had swung at his face. Ioan swung back right away, but watched as Link easily ducked under. "Yeah...I wonder why Link"Ioan stated sarcastically. Link was smaller than Ioan, so he was able to move easier. One of Link's blows caught him on the cheek, but Ioan shook it off, growing tired of fighting with his hands. Ioan landed a couple of blows himself, but it wasn't enough to knock the younger guy out. If nothing else, Link was scrappy. Ioan was tired of guys who thought that they could best him in a fight though. He ducked his head so that he could tackle Link and take him down to the ground.
