Interception

Zazuka nodded then looked up again. "Your right. But how it come is your choice really. There are times, like when someone chooses to take your life, when that choice is taken from you. Thing is that there are events that can lead to live like there are things that can lead you to die. When the time comes then you are really in the hands of Fate." She said the dreamyness that was usually in her voice taking on an ethral sort of feel. It was still her talking it just seemed as if the words where being feed to her.

At the mention on Bleak Street Zazuka wrapped her hands around herself. "This is when having skilled like mine becomes a burden. Something touched me while I was there finding Alexander. Something dark and sinister. There is a part of me that believes that it left something behind when it fianally left. The presence showed me a distroyed world ruled by a woman who believed herself to be shuned by all who knew her. A woman with violet eyes. The visions scare me beyond anything I have ever seen before." She said in all honestly. She knew she could trust Maddiie but most of all she had to tell because she had been the first one to ask.

At one point, Maddiie had once let her fate slip into someone else hand. She didn't care much about what could have happen to her if the girl had almost killed her. She wanted to die, she wanted to be with her brother Damon. In heaven were Abuelo had told her, he had went to. It wasn't her time though, Maddiie will remember it clearly now how Alice Derland had stop this from happening. Maddiie sighed she was a lot reckless back than, now she thought more clearly of those she will leave behind. If that other girl had killed her. Maddiie looked at Zazuka to see if what she speak of was true. It had been, Maddiie felt her lips part as she gasp, not so much because she felt the pain in her chest again. "That's horrible Zazuka. Did you know who this woman may have been?" she was like a person who was on the edge of their seat watching a horrific flick. Only this wasn't a movie, it was real and to live your life as Zazuka. Maddiie didn't think she could handle living in that world, she would have given up her vision once she understood what she was seeing.

Zazuka could not handal being herself sometimes. That how she had allowed herself to fall into the hold of the Lotus potion. "I don't know. I can never really see her face. All I see is her eyes. They are so strange to me but it's like I should know them, like I should rememer who that is." She said looking over Maddiie now. It was as if there was something inside her that didn't want Zazuka to see the truth about the woman with the violet eyes. It was that feeling that made Zazuka fear who she might be.

"Have you talk to anyone else about this? A professor anyone else perhaps?" she question Zazuka. Maddiie had always cared to much about others, its weird how she would go into greatest length in life just to make sure someone else was happy. It wasn't just her though, most of her family were that way. They consider other people feeling besides their own, it was only Maddiie who neglected her own feelings. Even if she tried to expressed them, they end up coming out wrong anyways. She hated that characteristics the most. She continue to look at Zazuka with concern, see even if she was a healer like her mother had once been she couldn't help those who were like Zazuka. So what was the point in becoming one?

Zazuka nodded. "I talked to the only professor could. She is helping with control but really we are on dreams now and it doesn't seem like she needs any more work. Worring about the end of all Ends." She said with a sigh. She sat down on a stare and looked up. "It helps you know talking to someone like this. My friends are great but again they have thier own things to be worrying about O.W.Ls and such. I don't want to be a bother." She said while beaming sunshine at Maddiie. It wasn't fake this time. It was as if what was going on inside her had calmed down some. Or maybe it was that she wasn't thinking about it. Zazuka too put everyone else before herself. When she had gotten the vision that Brian was going to betray her with Andy then be murdered Zazuka's only thought was how she could save him from his fate never mind that he was going to stray.

Maddiie sat besides her, crossing one leg over thee other. Slipping her elbows against her knee. "Its no problem really, its always nice to talk to someone other than your close friends for a change. They said if you do, its makes the stranger see more than what your friends may not notice." Maddiie smiled back getting that theory from her mother, she had also been a therapist as well. Anything having to do with the persons mind had been Christina specialities. She had delt with those who had been cursed or hex to do horrific deeds, when her patients had been submitted to Christina, it was already to late for them. All she could ever do, was help them continue to living, and study them as much as she could. It had been a few times, she had found sorts of diagnosed for her patients but they had only been temporary. "My mother taught me that." Maddiie sighed sadly. "She was in Ravenclaw when she met my father."

Zazuka looked back at Maddie and smiled kindly. "Your family seems very close. No one in my family was allowed to be close to me. My father had them all scared. I remember though when Halloween would come around my mother would hide pumpkin spice cookies in one of the gourdes that where flowering in the garden. It was up to me to find them of course but I always could." She said with a smile. It was an odd moment to remember the scared mouse of a woman that had been her mother but still the memory was there and it seemed to warm her somehow.

"Well after losing two others. Its sort of just I don't know." Maddiie shrugged unable to think of a word for what she was trying to say. "We suffer a great lost, for a while now. We still have our ups and down but its always been like that, but now things seem different. Dads doing his best to keep us together, and now he's married again." Maddiie smiled warmly, the small wedding she attended over Brightstone weekend. "To Kasey Carla mother. I'm sure you know her, she's in Ravenclaw." Maddiie small smiled slowly slipped away after what Zazuka had just finish telling her. "I'm sorry, I never realise there could be worst things in life till I meet someone..." she didn't want to hurt Zazuka feeling by saying like you. " viscous at least." she sighed shaking her head. "Were is your mother now? And who do you stay with?" she wonder.

Zazuka smiled wide at that. "I was there, my little sister was the flower girl and I know Kasey. Lovely girl and a wonderful Prefect." She said then sighed. She had felt more at home here with total strangers than she had ever had in the village hidden in the wood. "It's alright. My childhood was a lonely one to say the least but as bad as things where there that's how good they got when I got here." She said with a bright smile. If she had not escaped from home she would not have met Andy or Brian or Maddiie for that matter. "I say with Kailey Paramore. Her family seems to have adopted me." She said laughing. She loved the girls like sisters. Even more so now that even Mrs. Stratum seemed happy.

"Oh right that must've slipped my mind." Maddiie had forgotten that Zazuka had been at the wedding. No wonder she felt the need to actually talk to her this way, her little sister was a wonderful child. "Epiphy sweet. Seems like you did a great job with her." Maddiie smiled brightly her chest rising as she exhale slowly. "I know how Hogwarts could be, well to most at least. My first few years weren't all the great." Maddiie admitted when Zazuka had told her about her escape to Hogwarts. "I don't know, must've been just me, but I always felt disconnected by everyone." Maybe because half the time she wasn't always at school, but than things progressed better. "I'm happy now, well at least I think I am. I've always have been the black sheep of the family." she blushed slithly looking down. "I'm sure things will get better for you one day." Maddiie smiled never left her face, soon she will have to go to her droms, it was getting late, and there were still a whole stack of assigments she had to get to doing. "You already left your tragedy now its your future you have to worry about, even if you could see it. Doesn't mean certain events will happen." she was hinting her vision of the end of the world. "Things change, and it may seem like there nothing you could do about it, something out of nowhere will happen.." she hope that made sense to Zazuka. "For the better.." she left out or worst...

Zazuka beamed genuenly. "We did a good job. I made sure that Epiphany would be sarounded by people that would love her. As long as I breath Epiphany will know no more sorrow than she already has." She said. Epiphany only had to live though a year of what Zazuka had. One year would be enough for anyone and if they where lucky Zazuka would have gotten to Epiphany early enough tha she would not remember her life before this. Zazuka would make sure that there would nothing but good memories for her little sister.

Zazuka laughed softly. "Knowing your family if your the black sheep then I'm my father's favoret." She said laughing only softly. Zazuka got up slowly. "I should be getting back to the Tower. I am a prefect after all." She said with a soft smile on her face. "Choices make up the paths that everything walks. All I can do is hope that I figure out everything sson enough that I can help the person make the right choices. That's all that can be done really." She said then let her voice trail off. Zazuka looked up at the stares thinking that maybe she would dare to sleep more than three hours. In fact she thought she should. "Will I be seeing you around after this?" She asked looking down at Maddiie.

"Well that's good, she lucky to have you as a sister to guide her." Maddiie smiled as she stood herself, understanding a perfect duties. "Yes I need to get going myself, besides written assignments and such. Still need to brew a ghastly stinking potion for Professor Mercer." Maddiie made a face. Not that she didn't like mixing with hazards ingredients, its just the smell of it once it was brewed. She just hope the rest of the hufflepuff were up for the aftermath. The essence of rotten eggs, and cheese already came in mine, Maddiie stomach flopped once as the thought of that. "I'm pretty sure you will see me again. If you want you can write to me in Cyrus Trillion." Maddiie spoke genuinely meaning every word that she spoke. "Just if you ever need someone to talk to." she added, but was positive Jon was already taking care of that part of their oddest relationship. She still offer it though, she was positive there were somethings Jon couldn't help with everything. Maddiie waved goodbye as she was about to leave, when she heard a raven crow crowed, than a sudden screech made her double take twice, almost twisting out of place wondering what that may have been. "What was that?!?" she looked almost stunned, looking towards the windows wondering if something had flown inside.

[whoooa spookiness :r ]

Zazuka did not want to take any credit for how her sister was turning out. Epiphany was speaking more and asking more though her half vocabulary was almost next to impossible to figure out. Zazuka was happy to see the little girl flourish the way she did. Thinking of it made Zazuka smile. She had great expectation for her little sister. Epiphany was showing signs of magic and Zazuka knew that the little girl would be a powerful witch.

"Yeah that sounds good to me." She said then started to go up the stares. The moment she heard the raven's call. Zazuka clutched the front of her dress and screamed as she held on the railing. The feeling she had just gotten made what she felt in Herbology seem like a needle prick. "Omens abound where is Cyrus Trillon?" She asked her dreamy voice rasping a little from the scream.

Maddiie had ran towards Zazuka side as quickly as she could. "What happen? Are you okay?" she sounded frantic, something didn't feel right. "Cyrus Trillion?." oh she had forgotten that's were she will be staying for a while. Not for long, it was temporary so her father won't jump her throat if she had moved with Alex so sudden. "Its a town over the Harbour. Not that far away from the ocean shores. Zazuka you nearly gave me a heart attack. What the hell just happen?" she asked again her throat nearly becoming dry, looking around to see if she noticed the crow that she just heard. The corridors were emptied except for them two, no crow or student have been around. Strange, Maddiie thought to herself looking back at Zazuka Bones.

Zazuka was breathing heavily but it was getting back to normal. "I'm sorry but that call. It was just a feeling. I was hurting. I'm fine though that happens from time to time. I'll burst out laughing when no one said anything funny, I'll find a quite corner and start crying for no reason. They are just feelings. Please, be careful on you travels." She said as she looked into Maddiie's eyes. A dark cloud hung around like a plague trying to drain her. "Be careful." She said again.

Maddiie had a terrible time understanding, without questioning though she slowly nodded staring back at Ms. Bones gaze. Raising up from were she had crouched down she let out a sigh. "This wasn't the first time something like this had occurred." she look down at her hands, they were red beat red but Maddiie didn't panic. They have been like that for a few weeks now, it was mostly the lines going criss cross that made her nervous. She was mostly talking about the "curse" occuring again but for some reason Maddiie didn't share this with Zazuka, I think they both had enough for one evening. "Take Care Zazuka." she finally said slowly drifting back towards the hufflepuff common room. Tonight Maddiie knew she wouldn't be able to sleep, maybe a visit to Alex dorms would calm her down. "Pleasant dreams." she nearly whisper as she corner the corridors disappearing as she came.
