The forest had been tempting Osiris for way too long now. Every day as he walked around the grounds, he felt it sucking him in, well, tonight was the night. He didn't care about all the stories he heard about the creatures in there, he was going in!
He had snuck right out of the front door without anyone noticing and had crept through the Grounds without a sound.
As he got nearer and nearer the border of the forest, his heart starting beating faster, not because he was afraid, but because he was excited.
He tried to look through the trees to see in what direction he would start off in, but they were way to thick...so, taking a deep breath and looking both ways, he blindly took his first step into the forest...

Not for the first time at Hogwarts, Trixie had found that she couldn't sleep. So, picking up Immy's map on the way out, she'd crept out of her dormatory and gone to explore the school. Tonight however, she felt like going somewhere different. Somewhere more exciting. So, with her heart beating quickly, she crept out of the front doors to have a look around the grounds. Trixie liked the thrill she got from being out at night, the fear of being caught. It was this part of her that drew her towards the Forbidden Forest. She'd never been in before, and wanted to see what it was like. Of course she'd read loads about it, about all the dangerous animals in there, but she thought it couldn't possibly be as bad as everyone made out, maybe they were just rumours to stop students going in there?
Grinning nervously, she made her way over to the forest. Standing at the edge, Trixie took a deep breathe then took a step into the trees. None of the moonlight that had lit the ground was filtering through the trees, so she lit her wand as quietly as she could.
Trixie shivered. Now that she was here, it was a lot scarier than she'd imagined. She tried not to think about the dangerous creatures that could be lurking out of sight, and walked a bit deeper into the forest.
Then Trixie heard a noise to her right. She spun around, her heart thumping violently. She shone her wand in the direction the noise had come from, but she couldn't see anything apart from trees.
She stood rooted to the spot, too afraid to move.
