Jeremiah liked to shop, it was his favourite thing to do. He didn't know what he liked most, the feeling of freedom he got when he was allowed to venture from the island and shop in Italy, or the butterflies he got in his stomach when he knew that he could probably buy the whole Italian muggle market with his personal credit card. But right now he was in New Zealand, not Italy, but it didn't stop the butterflies and happy smile growing on his face. He loved Obsidian Harbor, that was for sure, he liked how he could have his wand out whenever, not having to worry about whether or not he was going to be caught by a muggle, because there were no muggles here, well, there shoukdn't be. The next best thing was the fact that all the things here were amazing and wonderful, unlike the things back in Italy. New Zealand seemed to bbe very in touch with the Magical community, when he first came, he feared that it wwas like America, virtually non-magical, it would have been horrible. But thank Merlin it wasn't, or he would have been devastated. He looked down at his rather feminine wand, he did not know why it chose him, but it did, it was apparently good for healing and such, he had always been interested in healing, and iit must have called the wand to him, there was no other explanation. He had yet to inform his parents of his wand, he knew they wanted him to have a strong, powerful wand that would be more included for powerful magic, not a pink wand, never a pink wand. He shrugged, he quite liked it, Miah had never really held a wand such comfort before, this one seemed like the one, it was comfortable in his pale hand and it felt natural for him to hold it, which was why he was, he couldn't bare to put it in his pocket of his jeans.
Miah continued his way down the cobbled street, it was a pleasnt day, the sun was high in the sky and kept the air warm, but there was also a cool breeze coming in from the ocean that was nearby, he could smell the salt of the ocean and in the distance, he could hear the waves, though only if he strained his sensitive ears. He was carrying one shopping bag, though it had many object inside, thanks to the kind shop owner casting a spell for him so he wouldn't have half a million bags hanging off his hands, and since he was under age and without his papa, he would have been stuck with several bags filled with vvarious items. He was not sure if he was going to ever use these items, but that ddidn't stop him from buying them, he did like shopping afterall. When he saw a bench, he smiled slightly and sat himself down on it, his back straight, his ankles crossed and his bag, violin case and wand beside him. He flexed his fingers, they were a little cramped, a side effect from holding his violin case and the bag for what seemed like hours, not that he minded too much, it was just pain, it would go away some day. He picked up his wand once more, deciding that itit was probably more responsible to put it in his jacket pocket while he sat down for a little rest, instead of just allowing it to rest unguarded beside him.
