Being an 18-year old girl, almost 19, who had everything a young lady of her age would probably want to have, Harumi tsukino had always been misunderstood by her peers. As long as she could remember, she had always been viewed as the kind of spoiled brat who sports all the trendy and classy brands from atop her head down to her toes. Signature branded clothes and apparel, luxurious cars, in trend gadgets, expensive out of the country trips, people thought that she could easily get them all. Adding up to her wealth, she also got her dancing prowess to boast, she grew up with a mother who, aside from being a fashion designer, was also a Japanese dance teacher after all. Her peers thought that she had easy, and thus, making her an easy prey for the other girls who are jealous of her. That was why despite her over all friendly and warm personality, she did not have a wide network of friends. She had a few who proclaimed themselves as her friends, though none of them she deemed to be true ones.

That was why she often envied her younger brother. He might have fewer friends than she did, but the ones he had were true. On top of that, he had something special too. He lived in a world far different from hers, one that she often dreams to visit. He wasn't like her; he wasn't even her blood kin. She learned a few years ago that he was adopted, yet, that didn't change how she viewed the younger kid. She loved him deeply. And though yes, she was sometimes envious of what he had, she never voiced it out. Besides, she missed the boy too much to complain. Her brother had been away for too long, she could barely even recognize him when he returned. He grew taller, a few inches taller than her in fact. Which was quite surprising. She had been too used to enclosing the younger boy in a bear hug and resting her chin on top of his head. She couldn't do that now. He had grown, and she had not been there to witness it. She would have wanted to spend more time with him now that he came back, yet, by some stroke of luck, she had been asked by her mother to survey the latest fashion trends in France. She had always wanted to visit the place, and though she wanted to bond with her brother, she grabbed the opportunity once it presented itself in front of her.

Haru breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she left the airport. She wasn't really fond of being too high up in the air. She had never admitted it to anyone. "Sugoi." She whispered, amazed by the sight that greeted her as soon as she stepped her feet outside of the building. It was astonishing, breathtaking. She walked a few steps, enthralled. Aside from Hogwarts, the school that her brother attended, this was the place of her dreams. She was living that dream now. She still couldn't believe that she was there now. She would have to sight see and visit all the places she had ever dreamt of visiting. Her daydreaming, however, came to an end when a man came running towards her. A woman screamed. She couldn't really understand what was being said, however, everything soon became clear to her when she realize that she was missing something. Her bag! That man was a thief!

She panicked. That bag contained all her money, even her passport, and her phone. She had no way to contact her family should that man get away. "Thief!," she screamed, running quickly to get her luggage full of her clothes before she ran after the man. She couldn't let him get away or else, she wouldn't be able to get back to her family. She couldn't have that. Yet, no matter how much she willed herself to run faster, she was still too slow. Little by little, the man was starting to get out of her line of vision. Only a little more and she wouldn't be able to see him. She was beginning to lose hope honestly. This supposedly great trip was turning into hell.

Justin had just sent a friend off to the airport for the day. It was good to have a day off from work once in a while but he sending a friend off to another country was not exactly his idea of fun. In fact, for him, it was quite sad for he only had a limited number of friends and yet, he had to send one off since his friend had been relocated thanks to his new job. Despite his brief sadness, Justin still felt happy for his friend who seemed to have been on fate's good side. Unlike him who was always having trouble and worries. This time around he was thinking of all the expenses that his family of four was taking up and then the earnings he was having every month from working at the restaurant. It was always barely enough, and he could only always hope that no devastating emergency would befall on the Joussane siblings since he had no idea on how he would be able to deal with it when he can barely handle taking care of his family without something drastic occurring.

Justin's mind had been continuously wandering, and that counted his feet. But all thoughts were stopped so suddenly as another human being suddenly bumped into him that resulted to two of them a sprawling heap of mess on the ground, with their legs entangled. He was just about to apologize to the man he had bumped into until he heard a girl screaming thief, and there he noticed the bag the man was holding on tightly to. It was too girly to be a girl's bag and by the fine sheen of sweat on the man's forehead, he could tell that this was the thief. He grabbed the man's shirt and pulled him closer to him, making sure that he doesn't escape. Justin wasn't very much of a fighter, but he was quite muscular and he wouldn't hesitate on using his arms if need be in certain situations, including now. "Return the bag or I'll call the police," he told the thief sternly and as a warning that he was sure that he was going to do if the man would cause more trouble. And so, keeping his hold on the man's shirt, he waited for the girl, a tourist it seemed, to approach them and retrieve her bag from them.

Haru was already losing her hope of ever seeing her family again. She felt like crying. She should have hugged her brother and told him everything that she had wanted to say. She should have told her mother all her worries, should have told her father how much she missed him. Yet she didn't, and she knew that she regret it all. She would never see them again, and it was all because she was too unaware of her surroundings. She found herself wanting to cry, the tears forming on the corners of her eyes. She was being a little too dramatic, but she could care less. This was it. This was the end. Her family would never know where she was. She would never see them again. The old man on the store, old Nan who loves to tell them stories, Ryuuji's owl, even the young girl from the boy's school. She'd never see them.

The Japanese slow down into a walk, her face wet in tears, however, as she lifted her head, it was as if heaven was smiling down on her. Not too far away from where she was was the thief with a boy who's not that much older than she was. Or at least, so she thought. She was saved. Smiling brightly and forgetting how she looked, she run towards the pair. She was all too happy. She didn't have to stay all alone. She'd get to see her family again. She would be able to tell them everything that she wanted to say. She vowed then that she'd spend a whole day, perhaps, even a whole week or month with them as soon as she gets home. This trip made her realize how precious time was. She bowed a full ninety degrees and looked at the boy. "Thank you, thank you very much," she said repeatedly, bowing again and again, thankful that she found the man who stole her bag even if the bag's not yet returned to her.

"Just give me back my bag, I'm not going to sue you or anything, just give it back please." She looked at the thief, pity shown in her eyes. She never had much encounters with people like this, but she knew enough not to judge the man too harshly and prematurely. Perhaps, he needed the money because his wife was sick, perhaps it was because he needed it to feed his children, he must have a valid reason for it. She then looked at the boy and realization aught up to her. She didn't know if she was understood. She knew little French and she knew not if the man nor this boy understood her. Hopefully, the latter did. She gave the boy a small. "Don't hurt him. I'm fine. I just need my bag," she requested, hopefully, this boy understands english.

Justin was grateful that this man understood the consequences that he had been laying down. The previous Durmstrang student was not really the type to go all violent or just suddenly throw people into jail. But he would do it if need be. His muscular arms were just products of his work though, for he wasn't particularly one to go to the gym and worry about his built. Seriously, it was Crische who had the good body built among the three of them and Justin was next, although he was sure the Brody would soon catch up in that department, considering that Justin was one to worry about work first and it was a less of a contributing factor to body built in comparison to that of his two brothers' work outs. But it seemed that the restaurant waiter's muscular body was enough to intimidate the thief for he was thinner than Justin which had probably caused the man to be blessed with speed. But speed wasn't going to help when he was grabbing the man's shirt whilst they both waited for the owner of the bag who was really trying to catch up to the two of them.

Justin surely didn't expect though the sudden bowing of the girl's head, well it seemed more like the whole upper body than just the head. "No, no. It's okay. You don't need to bow like that," he tried to stop her, his words coming out hurriedly with the awkwardness he was feeling with being bowed at while holding a man's shirt. After all, he had next to no idea why the girl was bowing when clearly he was not of royalty and he had no idea what kind of customs this girl was following. In any case though, she had to stop bowing. Justin gestured for the man to hand over the bag to the girl, and thankfully he obeyed, probably to scared of the police or being sued. And so, the moment that the bag was returned, Justin had also let go of the man's shirt. He smiled at the girl though when she told him to not hurt the man. "I won't. Everything in there?" he said gently before turning his attention back to the man. "Don't go off stealing people's bags. That would be more trouble compared to looking for a job," he said before the man went off and ran away empty-handed but probably would have already learned from experience.
