Being an 18-year old girl, almost 19, who had everything a young lady of her age would probably want to have, Harumi tsukino had always been misunderstood by her peers. As long as she could remember, she had always been viewed as the kind of spoiled brat who sports all the trendy and classy brands from atop her head down to her toes. Signature branded clothes and apparel, luxurious cars, in trend gadgets, expensive out of the country trips, people thought that she could easily get them all. Adding up to her wealth, she also got her dancing prowess to boast, she grew up with a mother who, aside from being a fashion designer, was also a Japanese dance teacher after all. Her peers thought that she had easy, and thus, making her an easy prey for the other girls who are jealous of her. That was why despite her over all friendly and warm personality, she did not have a wide network of friends. She had a few who proclaimed themselves as her friends, though none of them she deemed to be true ones.
That was why she often envied her younger brother. He might have fewer friends than she did, but the ones he had were true. On top of that, he had something special too. He lived in a world far different from hers, one that she often dreams to visit. He wasn't like her; he wasn't even her blood kin. She learned a few years ago that he was adopted, yet, that didn't change how she viewed the younger kid. She loved him deeply. And though yes, she was sometimes envious of what he had, she never voiced it out. Besides, she missed the boy too much to complain. Her brother had been away for too long, she could barely even recognize him when he returned. He grew taller, a few inches taller than her in fact. Which was quite surprising. She had been too used to enclosing the younger boy in a bear hug and resting her chin on top of his head. She couldn't do that now. He had grown, and she had not been there to witness it. She would have wanted to spend more time with him now that he came back, yet, by some stroke of luck, she had been asked by her mother to survey the latest fashion trends in France. She had always wanted to visit the place, and though she wanted to bond with her brother, she grabbed the opportunity once it presented itself in front of her.
Haru breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she left the airport. She wasn't really fond of being too high up in the air. She had never admitted it to anyone. "Sugoi." She whispered, amazed by the sight that greeted her as soon as she stepped her feet outside of the building. It was astonishing, breathtaking. She walked a few steps, enthralled. Aside from Hogwarts, the school that her brother attended, this was the place of her dreams. She was living that dream now. She still couldn't believe that she was there now. She would have to sight see and visit all the places she had ever dreamt of visiting. Her daydreaming, however, came to an end when a man came running towards her. A woman screamed. She couldn't really understand what was being said, however, everything soon became clear to her when she realize that she was missing something. Her bag! That man was a thief!
She panicked. That bag contained all her money, even her passport, and her phone. She had no way to contact her family should that man get away. "Thief!," she screamed, running quickly to get her luggage full of her clothes before she ran after the man. She couldn't let him get away or else, she wouldn't be able to get back to her family. She couldn't have that. Yet, no matter how much she willed herself to run faster, she was still too slow. Little by little, the man was starting to get out of her line of vision. Only a little more and she wouldn't be able to see him. She was beginning to lose hope honestly. This supposedly great trip was turning into hell.
