Jake was out and about at night. He left the common room after falling asleep for half the day and felt cooped up inside. He decided maybe tonight would be a good night to practice his wolf form in the forbidden forest. It was the place to go to; somewhere he wouldn’t be disturbed at all. Jake still had to worry about the perfects, but he heard word that they weren’t around. Good. It gave him time to practice all night. When he reached the outskirt of the forest he took off his shoes for comfort. Not that he needed to do so, but they were getting a bit to tight now that he fully grown. He would have to make a trip to the mall next week when it was allowed.

Kicking off his shoes, Jake started to run like he would normally do. That’s when he put all his focus on his Alaskan wolf form. It wasn’t easy to morph into his form, it look more like a wolf merged with a fox really instead of a white wolf from Alaska. Jake had to do whenever he switch form, it took all of practice and skilled magic to manage. Thanks to his transfiguration Professor at Drumstrang he perfectly manages to do well. When he done all the steps to change, Jake morphed and started to run. The forbidden forest was quiet tonight, it out to be in this weather. But because of thick fur he didn’t feel the cold wind chill him. There was no snow on the ground, so it wasn’t cold like most days. Jake kept running in detour circles, getting use to this form minute by minute.

Sorry its Lame >.< will post better I hope!

Jessica Reed was once again on a midnight stroll, except this time she headed for the forest. She wasn't in the mood to just sit on the rocks of the cliffs like she usually did. This time, she was in the mood for a bit of adventure. And where better to get adventure at Hogwarts then in the Forbidden Forest? Jessica threw her hood up over her head as she entered the forest, her newly dyed black hair blended in well with it. Then with a subtle flick of her wand Jessica quietly commanded, 'Lumos'....

Jessica picked herself up once more after falling over for the hundreth time. Clumsiness plus darkness plus jagged roots sticking up from the ground did not add up to a good mix. However Jessica continued to walk ahead, she wasn't going to turn back just because she scraped herself a couple of times. As she walked she wondered to herself how many students, like her, where in the forest? She couldn't be the only one. There had to be a group of mischeivous first years trying it out for the first time, or a troublesome second year crying out her worries. There was no way she was the only one there.

Her thoughts were suddenly disrupted however when she heard loud thuds on the ground, she could even feel the earth beneath her begin to vibrate. Jessica instinctively walked toward the source, she was far too curious to ignore it. Jessica raised her wand higher and peered around looking for the source of the noise. She knew she was getting closer, the ground was vibrating more, the distinctive 'thud' became louder and louder and louder. It wasn't until she saw the beast when Jessica realised that she wasn't getting closer, it was the creature who was getting closer to her. Jess spun her wand in the direction of the creature although it didn't light it up enough to fully see what it was. However, she did manage to get a glimpse of what she could only guess to be its teeth, "Holy sh!t" Jessica said, unable and unwilling to move.

Jake kept dashing along the dusky forest grounds. This form had taken over completely, he had more abilities in this form than his human. He felt his paws scratch the grounds floor when his wolven eyes caught the glimps of dim lights appearing out of nowhere. When he felt the present grew near, Jake whole entire body tense fully. He could feel his claws exposing and as he stop to listen some more he heard someone. His instincts work in play, Jake move towards the dim light letting out an audible growl for the one disturbing him to hear.

The boy thought of it just being a first year crossing boundaries. Being the person that he was, Jake wanted to teach the no good little runt a lesson of their own. He emerge from the shadows of the forest that had conceal him briefly. Letting out another growl, he expose his white teeth. If he would've saw himself, he probably would've been afraid too. Letting his focus remain on his form, he scratch the ground with one paw before letting out another growl.

Jessica wouldn't deny the fact that she was frightened. She wasn't all that good at magic and even if she was, she wouldn't be able to take this beast. She held her wand in front of her, her hand trembled slightly as the creature barked out another growl. She didn't even know what spell she could use to protect herseelf, under this amount of pressure, she honestly went blank. Jessica was afraid to make any sudden movements but she edged a step back, her eyes searching frantically for the beast in the darkness.

Her stomach felt sick and her heart drummed rapidly against her ribcage. She felt her mouth go completely and utterly dry, how would she even attempt to get out of this? Jessica took another step back but carelessly lost her footing and ended up tripping over a large root. The Gryffindor fell to the ground and let her wand slip from her trembling fingers. Her wand rolled across the ground, the light exposing the beasts full body. Jessica gasped as she stared at it. It was some sort of wolf, although her body quickly took over her mind and she began to scramble back onto her feet.

The luminous light flicker down to the ground. Jake eyes caught it as fell exposing his muzzle from the opposite direction the figure who had been lurking the forest ground could see Jake fully now just as he could see the frighten face of no one else but Jessica. He let out a horse grunt that would resemble to a boys snicker. He had to have fun with this, Jake made it his time to fool around with Jess. He kept padding forward, his muzzle trace the ground like he was aiming to attack the defenseless girl. Jake took it to the next measure to leap over towards Jessica, landing with a thud as a growl escape from the frighten jaws, his nostril flare resembling something horrific out of a horror movie. Jake padded forward, but he gently trace his muzzle by the side of Jessica face, sort like two wolves kiss or when a dog brush against his owners. He did this for a minute than step back, his form snapping back into human form. Jake was human once again, his tall figure hover over Jessica small frame. "You look like you seen a beast" he snicker at his best friends. "Or has it been that long since you last seen my handsome face?" he laughed some more crouching or attempting to only to be bumped up again by his best friend.

Sorry edit cause Jake needs to stop acting childish! Hope you don't mind.

Jessica simply couldn't put into words how she was feeling at that very moment. As the beast leapt in front of her, she automatically scrambled backwards on all fours. She couldn't bring herself to scream or to even breath. Her heart hammered against her chest as if it was about to burst through it. When it let out another menacing growl, Jessica continue her attempt to escape without aggravating the wolf, but fell once more onto the damp earth. Her breathing quickened as the wolf came closer to her, closer, closer, her heart was beating faster, and then - it brushed its muzzle softly against her face? Jessica was too afraid to move, she figured it was just getting used to her scent before tearing her apart. But instead of eating her whole, the beast took a few steps back.

What happened next, Jessica couldn't even begin to comprehend. She practically lay on the ground as she watched the beast transform into her best friend. Jacob. Jacob? Jacob! Jessica didn't know what to feel, everything was happening so fast, she was confused, ecstatic, angry and confused again. How she would express these emotions she didn't know. She ignored Jakes smart comments and through her arms around him, forcing him to a stance. Her hands curled around his neck and her face buried into his broad chest suddenly feeling his warmth consume her. She couldn't let go of him. She wouldn't let go of him. She was too afraid that this was a dream, that Jake wasn't actually here with her, because afterall, with tonights turn of events this may aswell have been a dream.

"Hey, hey, hey" Jake said this softly, even if she did just nearly knock him down. Jake stood strong however, nothing can knock him down at least not anymore. He had grown fully and was no longer the kid Jess used to know. "Hey, its okay Jess...I'm really here.." Jake arms were around her body, a body to small to endurce his embrace. She was strong though, Jake could tell by the way she was holding onto him. He felt a sudden sense of concern washed over him. Like something must've happen while he hadn't seen her for a while.."Jess are you okay? Is there something wrong? Did I forget your birthday again" he was still Jake to her no matter what, he was still the little kid. But Jake wanted to show her a different side, more caring side as well. Not to much like his brother Jon, more like Jake side. In some ways he had to thank his father for this, he was becoming the man he wanted him to be. Just one more year Jake and your done...he thought while still hugging Jessica. Getting used to her scent, it was different. Jess was changing as well, her essence wasn't the same, but Jake didn't mind it at all.

Jessica smiled to herself when Jake reassured her that he was here. Her arms slid down his back and she loosened her grip around him as she pulled away slightly to look at him. "..I'm fine..now." She said slowly with an overall content expression on her face. Hogwarts just seemed to get a zillion times better now that he was here. Jessica leaned in for a hug once more but quickly had a change of mind and kneed him where she knew it would hurt the most. Although she hadn't done it too hard, she knew that was a sensitive area for guys, even guys as strong as Jake.

"Thats for earlier." She said with a cheeky expression and fully released her arms around him, "Now do you want to start on the whole wolf part or would you care to the explain why you are here at Hogwarts?" She said with her arms folded across her chest, her foot tapping against the ground in mock-impatience.

A sensation jolted up between Jake legs where Jessica had "accidentally hit him". Jake let out a groan cupping both his hands in front of his crouch letting out a loud groan. "Okay I totally deserve that..." he squeal at the end, a rather harsh breath expel from his lips as the pain finally passed from his legs. "Your so busted for that" Jake grabbed her up and pulled her into a playful nookie. He shook her hair with light knuckles before letting her go, leaning away he grabbed at the side of his neck. "Wolf, well that happen back at Drummy and me taking a few advance Transfiguration class" Jake bit at the side of his lip. It was more Jake cheating his way into advance class, passing the grades with O's but no one needed to know that. Besides it happen once or twice, he couldn't remember. Though it wasn't often did Jake cheat somewhat of it came naturally. "I transfer cause of my family living here...bro graduated last year so I'm here with my cousin and such.." Jake shrugged in a mellow tone looking away absent mindlessly. Jake didn't go on into full detail why else he was here, it had a lot to do with his newly found girlfriend Kathryn.
