I'm finally back

[Parker Smith]

Parker held his head low as he walked to the cafe in the rain. He hadn’t seen Amanda in a long time and when he had called her she had agreed to meet him at the cafe they had first gone too. He felt bad about having to go out of the country to see his sister. Now that he was back he was excited to see Amanda again. He had really started to like her. Then when he had to leave he’d done nothing but think about her since he had left.

Now as he walked into the cafe he looked around for that cheeky, lovable brunette he had met such a short time ago. The sweet girl who had changed him for the better. Seeing that she had not yet arrived, Parker took a seat facing the door. He wanted to see her arrive.

Amanda Abelev knew she was going to have a great day. Seeing Parker would be the best thing that she had done in quite some time. She had agreed to see him at the place where they first met, hoping to rekindle on their romance. The slender brunette hadn't seen him for a while and had truly missed him. She flipped her long brown hair back and strutted along the cobblestone path. Amanda had really started to like Parker, it was strange since she hadn't felt like this in a while, she was a bit confused to say the least.

The brunette opened the door for herself, only to see Parker sitting right there, " Well look who it is." A wide grin formed on the sweet girls face.

Hearing the door before he saw it open, Parker smiled. He knew who it was. There weren't many people in the cafe anyway and it made sense that it would infact be her. As he looked up his smile grew. "Amanda." He called as he gave her a light kiss on the cheek. On his travels he had met many people. Some of which he would even have considered going out with. But the only girl that had been on his mind was the one infront of him now. "I missed you cutie" he said as he tapped her nose softly. She was so good to him.

"So how have you been? Get into any trouble?" He asked.

Amanda blushed slightly when he gave her a kiss on the cheek, she was going to go full throttle and kiss him in public, she would save that for private times. " I've been alright, gotten into jail two or three times, been talking with the FBI.. the usual." The brown eyed girl gave him a playful wink. " Other than that exciting stuff, I've started my job at a law firm." She nodded happily, loving her job.

" How've you been? I've really missed you." She hugged him tightly, not want to let him go. " You're never leaving again." She looked up at him, from his chest. It was true, Amanda had really really missed him, it was like her other half was gone.

Parker smirked slightly as he gestured for Amanda to sit down. "Jail? FBI? So thats why I've been seeing your name around alot is it?" He teased as he shook his head. He enjoyed muking around and laughing with Amanda. It was what kept him happy. She was such an amazing person really. Parker smiled when she mentioned her job. "Oh already, hey that's great. I'm sure your doing a fine job" He said as he held her hands in his.

"Well, Rachael is getting alot better now. The doctor says that the worst of her illness is over. So I left her in her husbands capable hands and took the next flight back to you." He smiled as he kissed her hands. "I never want to leave you either Amanda. You mean to much to me." He said as he shook his head. He did love Amanda. But he was still young and did not want to be tied down yet. Besides, he'd only known Amanda for a few months.

Amanda lowered her head and nodded, " Yup, I'm causing havoc here.." She shrugged her shoulders. " They might have to deport me... crazy British police men." The brunette shook her head and laughed. " I guess I am, I've just been anticipating seeing your face." She smiled up at him happily. " I honestly hope that she's ok right now, and she's really in my thoughts." Amanda held his hands tight, really showing her connection with him. Resembling a tight relationship. " That's why I love you, you're always thinking of someone else before yourself." She took one hand and rubbed it against his cheek.

Parker smiled. "Yup, I'm sure you are." He laughed as she told him she was causing havoc. It was just like her. "Deportation huh? The British that desperate to be rid of you?" He joked as he smiled at her. She was truly amazing. "Yeah, Rachael is a fighter, and really rather stubborn, so thats all in her favour." He said shrugging. He had been worried about her, but he knew she was going to be fine now so there was no need for the worry. "Right now I'm thinking of you" He added as he turned his head to kiss her hand while she rubbed his cheek.

"Are you hungry?" He asked. "I figured we could eat first before we go back to my place?" He asked her as he looked down at the menu.

Amanda shrugged and widened her eyes, " I think so, the Queen herself said she could take me out." The brunette smiled, laughing alongside her joke. She always seemed to crack herself up. Amanda was super happy that she was back with Parker and her night was going to be great. " She'll be ok, I know it." Amanda nodded supportively back at Parker. " And I've always been thinking about you." Her eyes sparkled when she looked at him, that had to be a good sign.

" I actually am, just a bit though, I don't want to Queen to come and track me down." The brunette laughed, looked at the menu. " You're place sounds wonderful, my neighbours are still at mine, so I hope their not waiting to see you." Her brown eye winked at him.

Parker shook his head as her listened to Amanda. She really was a character, she had charm all her own. "The Queen huh?" He asked as he smiled. He loved when Amanda played things up, it really was quite funny actually. He knew that he was going to enjoy himself tonight. He always had fun when she was around. And it would be especially fun with his neighbours. He was sure they were wondering where he had been. Afterall, he had just up and left without telling them a thing. Which was all fine because they had no buisness prying into his affairs. He smiled when she told him she had been thinking about him. "I did more then that, I told my sister all about you. She said I was a fool for leaving you behind. She was right... next time I'll make sure to bring you with me." He added as he touched her face. "I will never let you go Amanda."

"Well, thats good, pick anything from the menu, I feel like a rich guy tonight." He told her as he laughed slightly. He wanted her to be happy. He always did. "And then we will return to my home and we can explain to the busy bodies over the road that I have been at my sisters and that we are still together. Because to tell you the truth, I rather think they had become worried." He said as he laughed and shook his head. "I'll just have a vegie burger thanks" he told the waiter as he came by.

Amanda lowered her head and nodded, " I know, that poor old soul will have to come over just for me." She shook her head in joking disapointment. Amanda just looked at him, why was he wonderful? He really cared about her and she cared about him. She would literally do anything for him because she really liked him. " I would love to come and see your sister. I think that I'd get along with her, tell me about her. " Amanda rested her head on her hand. " I would never want you to let me go." Her smile widened.

Amanda laughed, looking at the menu, " Oh how I miss your neighbours, they must've been really worried, those poor people looking out for us.. what a shame." The brunette really liked how she could joke around and be open with Parker. " I'll have some spring rolls please." She said to the waiter.
