Ariah Rowan was more than surprised to see how much had changed since she visited here at the beginning of her break before her Sixth Year at Hogwarts. From what she was aware her brother did have a girlfriend but that was about it. But when she returned this time she actually came home to what she thought was an empty house. It turns out that she was completely wrong because the moment she opened the door to the bathroom out walks Colton's girlfriend look as confused as ever to see her there. At least she was dressed and everything or that would have boggled her poor mind. No, instead Ariah was left to question what Gabrielle was doing at Colton's house without him being there. From there she learned a lot more than what she really needed to learn like how Gabrielle had gotten a job as healer not too ago and how her and Colton ended up spending so much time together that they both just decided that they should move in together. Moving into the kitchen with Gabrielle the short-legged blonde hopped up onto the stool and started to listen to the whole story about the situation they were in. She mentioned things about Kalina, the horrible Asian chick that Colton used to be friends with, who seriously needed to fix her face or something, how Gabrielle had a miscarriage and then how Colton asked her to move in since she practically lived here anyways. "And you two share a room? But that's totally inappropriate!" Ariah exclaimed as she stuck a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth and watched the amused looking Gabrielle carefully. Her brother's girlfriend happened to be incredibly pretty and yet graceful for someone who had such a cold look about her. She seemed to match looks up with Theodore and Alyssa perfectly. It was easy to see why Colton liked her so much though, she had this thing about her that made it easy to like her. After Ariah mentioned that Gabrielle explained that for people her and Colton's age it was completely fine so long as they were together, they weren't being unfaithful, and stuff like that. Now Ariah was started to get a little suspicious. W;hen Ariah was asked if she could keep a secret she nodded her head happily. Actually she just lied pretty much lied to Gabrielle, she was horrible at keeping secrets if they were really big and juicy secrets. Chances were that she would tell whomever she could, but since she already nodded her head she didn't bother to speak up and tell her that she had just lied. When Gabrielle told Ariah straight up that she was pregnant again, Ariah was winded. So their first baby didn't survive was said, but that fact that they had the chance of another one got her so excited. "I'm going to be an aunt?!" There was no hiding the fact that she was happy about being an aunt, oh that and having a miniature Colton or Gabrielle running around because that was going to be so cute! But then she was told not to tell Colton and she frowned. Not tell her big brother that he was going to be a daddy. Well Ariah said she wouldn't tell but goodness knows how well that would go. Then she heard the door open and Ariah grinned.

Trying to get off the stool quickly forced her to fall over and knock the stool over with her, but that kept her down on the floor for only a minute or two before she pushed herself up and bolted to the door. Her legs carried her into the living room and the short blonde greeted her big brother with a tight hug. "Colton! Hey guess what? I just heard really awesome news about you!" She prodded her brother. She would wait for him to react and everything but she didn't think that Gabrielle should keep such a secret from Colton. Then again Ariah didn't know that the elder blonde was saving for a time when they were alone and could discuss things before she told him. Perhaps Ariah was naive like that but she believed that anything that could be said to her brother could be said in front of her. She was protective of her brother and since he had a hard time in the past taking care of himself she wanted to make sure nothing put him in that situation again.

--The day at work could not have been any easier on Colton Dalek Kovac when he had to deal with a woman that was depressed over a miscarriage. Then there was a birthing today with a happy couple, which was a cherry to the bad day. Then again, he fought and fought not to let it bother him even though it deeply scarred him. Thank goodness that the baby was a boy and not a girl. Colton cleaned his things in his office, before he realized that there was another addition to the house. Ariah would be arriving any moment now, and Colton figured that since it was close to six, she would be walking in through the door, and he had completely forgotten that he did not tell Ariah that she was living with them now. Everyone else seemed to know so that was not really a large concern of his. He thought that Ariah would have been filled in on the details but obviously not. Colton had forgotten to really tell anyone, because all seemed to know anyway. Colton shrugged lightly as he locked his door and leaving his white coat behind in his office. Not once had Colton thought about Kalina since the moment that they had departed that one horrible day. Colton really hated to think about it actually, so he never did. He just stopped by a shop before he walked home to enjoy the longer days now that it was summer. Colton sipped at the coffee that he bought along the way, before he would soon arrive home to see his beautiful sister and his lovely girlfriend that managed to steal his heart. Colton knew that he loved her, but he did not feel as though it was time to tell her.

--As soon as he arrived home, Colton was tackled - from what it felt like - by his sister, Ariah Rowan. He patted her shoulder, and was glad that his hot coffee did not spill all over the poor girl. "Merlin's Beard, sister," muttered Colton in his native tongue before he turned his attention more to Gabrielle. She heard awesome news...about him? What would that be? Switching over to English, Colton asked, "Um, about me getting that promotion over a year ago?" Colton raised an eyebrow and thought that she knew about that one. He moved Ariah to the side lightly, so that he could go to Gabrielle and see what was going on. She was the only one in the house, and thought that maybe it had something to do with her. But then again, it might have been Yvo too. Colton inquired, "Belle, how was your day? Ariah, this is Gabrielle just in case you two haven't talked yet which I highly doubt though." A small smile graced his lips before he leaned against the counter and sipped on his coffee once more.

Ariah smirked when she heard her brother speaking some Slovak. She wasn't exactly a pro on speaking the language but thanks to her father she understood some of it. Colton was never really the type to be extremely excited or a ball of boundless energy like she was when they saw people they liked or someone they hadn't seen in awhile returned home. So she didn't really expect him to be all happy and smiling. But when he actually moved her to the side to say hello to his girlfriend or whatever a fuse was struck. She loved her brother, she loved him a million times over but apparently he didn't understand how things worked. Ariah was sweet indeed but attention must be paid to her or things were going to get a little messy. Putting her hands on her hips she narrowed her eyes at her brother before she walked into the kitchen where Gabrielle was still standing. Of course they had to have their little kissy moment and pretty much fill up the entire room with their cutesy love for one another. Boy was Yvo right when he said that those two were oblivious to the fact that they were both head over heels. Even Ariah could pick that up and she had only seen these two together for five minute's. Ariah coughed and shook her head. "Heey, heeey, heey, do you two lovebirds mind? I'm like..still here! Anyways, yeah Gabrielle and I have already met. I came home today surprised to find out that you had asked her to move in with you. So yes, we have already had a very lovely chat with one another." Ariah rolled her mint green eyes before she gave her brother a cute smile. Ariah liked Gabrielle sure, but she didn't like the idea of her entire time with her brother being taken up by this girl. Then again Ariah did intend on spending most of her break at the beach or hanging with Leviathan anyways. So maybe it was a good thing that he had someone to keep him busy. It would keep him from bothering her about her boyfriend. He had a tendency to worry about small things a lot.

Now it was time to pretty much blow Gabrielle's big secret and tell Colton what the big news she had heard about him was. He had been completely off when he guessed about it being about his promotion. Pffft. I heard about the promotion long ago." Ariah started with a playful roll of her eyes and a strange look in her face. He really had no idea in the world that his poor girlfriend might be having his baby. Guessing by the look in Gabrielle's eyes, it was a secret that she didn't want stated yet. Oh well it was better he know sooner than later. "Your going to be a daddy!" Ariah grinned and vaguely registered the sound of something being slammed on the counter. Ooops, yeah Gabrielle didn't sound happy over there. With the biggest grin she could possibly have she told the two adults that they can converse amongst themselves because she was going to go unpack.

Gabrielle was extremely shocked when Colton's little sister Ariah came through the door today instead of it being Colton like it usually was, it was her Christmas break off so the shock didn't last long. But as cute as she was, her being here did pose some potential problems for Gabrielle. Yesterday night Gabrielle had found out that she was once again pregnant, which was a miracle in itself for this to happen but the fact that they had lost the last one too she was figuring that Colton would want to know sooner so he could screen things and make sure that everything was going okay. But she couldn't tell him while his sister was around because she wanted it to be a more private thing so they could discuss what they were going to do this time. Like whether they wanted to actually risk through the pregnancy, if she should be eating special foods, or even if he wanted her to be resting all the time instead of being on her feet and stuff. Ariah knew already because Gabrielle told her, but she had asked her to keep it a secret from Colton for awhile. Luckily they didn't have much time to converse over why she didn't want Colton to know just yet because he came through the front door and the young girl bounded out of the kitchen and towards the door. That was so cute. Taking a moment to straighten up a few things in the kitchen she managed to put a few dishes into the sink just as her boyfriend came into the room and she smiled lovingly. Ah he called her Belle again, it never got old and oh did she love being called it. It always made her fall in love with him that much harder. "Hey handsome. Ah you know, it was the usual relaxing day at home. At least until your sister nearly scared me to death when she walked through the door. I've been keeping her entertained since like ten this morning." Gabrielle winked softly before she approached Colton and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, she didn't mind being with his family at all. But now that her feelings for Colton had grown she was afraid that his family wouldn't like her and she really wanted them to like her. With her being in love with him, she seeked acceptance towards his blood relatives because in her secret fairytale ending, they would be together for as long as they were alive.

And before Gabrielle could stop her, Ariah went out and spilled the news of her being pregnant. Which she had promised she wouldn't do. Gabrielle had be pleading her for hours now not to tell him the big news because she wanted to do it herself. When the news was spilled Gabrielle dropped her head in defeat and let her hands fall to her sides. Now her night was sort of ruined and she wanted to put Ariah in a clothes hamper and kick her down the fricken stairs. "Yeah, way to tattle on me." Gabrielle muttered as Ariah left the kitchen leaving just her and Colton in there. Now suddenly things felt really awkward and Gabrielle wanted to shy her face away from Colton or something. The first time she was pregnant she hadn't realized she was in love with him. Now she knew she was so it was like they, well they were taking their relationship far further than it had been before. Shyly she glanced up at him before she bit her lip. "Sorry, I would have told you as soon as I found out but I was waiting until tonight, but then your sister came over and, she ruined the surprise!" Gabrielle breathed out through her nostrils and felt like putting on a full out tantrum. This was her surprised to ruin so how dare she think it was okay to run out and do that. Hopefully Colton wouldn't get mad or anything either because Gabrielle didn't want him to be upset that she hadn't told him right away.

--Colton honestly did not know that Gabrielle and Ariah had been spending so much time together or else he would have made an effort to come home a little earlier than he should have. Colton reached around and scratched nervously behind his head before he let out a soft sigh and wondered just what all did those two talk about. He wanted to question it but figured that it would not do much good anyway. It was probably just girl talk and whatnot. Colton hoped that Ariah would be doing well in school. He smiled down at his sister for a moment, and he thought that she was definitely the type to be center of attention. She was nothing like her brother then. Maybe she had gotten that trait actually from Adrian or something. He loved attention too so maybe there were some similarities. Colton tapped his fingers against the counter. "So, ten of the clock this morning, that is rather...long. But um, I guess you two are definitely past introductions." But what in the world were they talking about for the past few hours? If they were talking at all? Colton was a little dumbfounded by girls anyway, so he thought that he would be better off without even trying to see what all they had done or talked about. But Colton felt a sudden wave of guilt wash over his body when he heard what Ariah said about not really telling her that Gabrielle had moved in. He had just forgotten was all. It was not something that everyone could really say in a letter anyhow. Colton bowed his head softly and he murmured, "Sorry for not telling you, Ariah, about Gabrielle living here. There has been a lot on my mind." That was the complete truth in that statement because of everything that has been going on.

--Though the news was a little shocking, but his eyes went over to Gabrielle and he looked almost horrified. She was pregnant again? How could this had happened? There were a few times when he ran out of certain things, but that should not have made the difference. Then a bright smile went across his lips, and he took in the news. Maybe this one would last and live. Maybe this one would be born. Colton once more had his hopes up. How long had she known though? Well, it was going to be a surprise, which was still meaning that she was going to tell him, and tell him tonight. How far along was she then? Colton honestly thought that he would be a nice father. He would be a better father than the one that adopted one. "Okay, Ariah, that's good news, but you really should not have ruined another's surprise. But Belle, how far are you along?" His tone was soft and full of warmth that would not have been there otherwise. Colton hoped that things would be better for the baby and them. But he wondered if she had told him beforehand, maybe they could have given her some sort of prenatal potions and stuff to help the baby live. Colton glanced over at Ariah and he inquired, "When were you going to tell me about you and Leviathan's little arranged marriage?" Colton had Yvo tell him the full details and wondered why Ariah did not ever tell him herself. She was directly involved with the boy anyhow. Colton folded his arms across his chest and he wondered if he would even want to have that boy around his home anyhow. He did not know nor trust the boy, and it was bad enough that he will soon be his brother-in-law and there was nothing that could be done about it at all.

Ariah softly bit her lip wondered if it was going to be like this with all of her brothers when they started to meet girls and begun to date and think about starting a family. Would Yvo and Adrian both someday forget about their poor baby sister and focus all their attention on their girls, it wasn't fair and Ariah knew that she didn't really have a reason to be upset because they still loved her no matter how in love they were. But before they all got old and everything she was their little princess, and the only woman in their live. Now what was she? Oh yeah, their little baby sister that really had no purpose other than being the little baby sister. As unfair as it was she knew no matter how upset she pretended be it wasn't right for her to do it. They shouldn't dump someone they really liked just to keep her happy. "Way past introductions, I was tempted to show her your baby pictures if you didn't get here soon." Ariah winked at her brother and then rolled her mint green eyes playfully. She wouldn't show them to Gabrielle because she didn't even know if they had any to begin with. Their father probably had one or two laying around somewhere and if the young Slytherin managed to get a hold of them Gabrielle was the first place that they would be going to. All girlfriends should be allowed to witness a baby picture of the one they were dating. Plus she imagined that if she was an incredibly cute baby herself that her brother had to had something going for him. Colton bowed his head a little and apologized to Ariah for not telling her that he had his girlfriend move in with him and didn't tell her. He had a lot on his mind or something. He was being sincere though because even if he knew someone would be unhappy he always told them with honesty. Ariah didn't mind either, she knew he had been busy and with so much going on he probably didn't have the time. Besides he was really happy so she could let it slip. Giving him a soft smile she let him know that she wasn't mad at him or anything.

"Sorry. I'm bad at keeping secrets, besides I got excited, I'm going to have a little nephew or niece! Wow Colton you should see your face right now, you two love each other, it's way obvious." Ariah shook her head and was so tempted to pinch both of their cheeks like a mother would to a small child she found adorable. They could deny and say whatever they wanted to say but it was obvious to anyone who had eyes that they had extremely deep feelings for one another. It looked very serious too. Butterflies in the stomach and the trouble sleeping kind of serious. If they couldn't admit it out loud yet they obviously had a problem. Why would anyone want to hide that from another person. They were going to make themselves miserable over it and Ariah didn't think that they were being fair on themselves. All it took was three words. Eight letters, and then they would be done and they may never have to say it again with fear. Now they had to actually gain the guts to tell one another and it would be all good. When Colton decided to question her about her arranged marriage she found herself getting uncomfortable. Sure sometimes her and Levi fought and made each other upset, but she didn't want her brother to try and separate them or forbid her from hanging out with him during her break. "I wasn't. It doesn't really concern you so I don't think I have to tell you anything. Stop trying to act like your my dad or something." Ariah stuck her tongue out at him before she grabbed her sweatshirt from the counter, threw him another dirty look, and stormed out of the kitchen, quite loudly.

Gabrielle was actually growing amused by watching the antics between Colton and Ariah. It sort of reminded her how she and her siblings reacted with one another. Although Ariah was much less violent and bitter then the majority of them seemed to be. So of course she found it cute and amusing to watch. Especially because Colton was a really good older brother to her and Ariah really seemed to look up to him. That told the elder blond within the room that he would become a very good father someday. He probably didn't even realized it himself but he had a good personality for it. The fact that he was a doctor that worked with children and babies made it even easier for her to see him as a dad. If only her body could handle it instead of crushing their dreams like it had last time. "I would be almost be willing to pay her big money for one of those baby pictures too." Gabrielle teased him as well. She wouldn't try to get a hold of the pictures of he really was against him but a part of her really did want to see what the pictures looked like. After all they had been together for a year, she was madly in love with him, and she was also pregnant with his child. How could she not be a little bit curious about what her boyfriend looked like as baby? He was probably a real cutie if he looked anything like he did right now. If he wanted to see some of her baby pictures she could certainly show him too. There was a small box of them that her mother had given her when she was old enough to move away from home. Hers wasn't so different from what she thought she looked like today. Her hair was still a sandy blonde and her eyes a sky blue. But Gabrielle did look a lot happier then she sometimes appeared to these days, when she wasn't with Colton mostly. Listening to Colton apologize to his sister for not telling her that Gabrielle had moved in with him because he had a lot on his mind, she bit her lip nervously. Now it was starting to creep up on her, that feeling of intrusion and guilt. Of course she made sure it was completely cool with Colton before she moved in. He was the one that asked her so he must have been okay with it. But no one really ever checked with Ariah about all of this so she probably felt like they didn't care. It wasn't like they meant to do it either. Gabrielle had never been in love before so it still surprised her the stupid things that they did because their emotions got the better of them. Like moments when she found herself getting distracted from doing her work because she started to think about him with this silly little grin on her face. Or mornings and nights were she indeed wanted to do nothing but be around him. It was almost disgusting how much she cared about him yet she couldn't stop herself from doing it.

"Were not in love." Gabrielle stated with a roll of her sky blue eyes. She just lied big time to spare her feelings from getting hurt by love if her and Colton ever messed up somehow. But she did love him, so very much. But was it obvious enough to where even a kid could see it? There was no way they had both let their guard down that much. Moments after she told her lie she once again could not look at Colton, she didn't want to see his expression. If he was happy or if he was sad. Gabrielle needed to pretend that she didn't love him until she knew that her feelings were either returned or she could get rid of them. Then he started to react about the fact that she had managed to get pregnant again. At first he looked surprised, but then he looked so happy. His tone was soft and full of warmth as he spoke to her too, she loved it. "I think only a few months along. But thats just a guess." Gabrielle told him shyly. It still felt weird talking about it and thank god she wasn't showing yet, nor was she having terrible morning sickness or migraine's like she was last time. The only thing she was having problems with was fatigue. Lately she had been taking a lot of naps and such. Gabrielle started to put some things away when she started to catch the conversation between between Ariah and her brother over an arranged marriage. Was she really one of the girls that they had put into an arranged marriage? After Ariah's rudeness towards Colton and her leaving the kitchen, Gabrielle and Colton were left alone in the kitchen. "I'm sorry." Gabrielle sighed and she stepped over to Colton, her hands finding their way to his face before she leaned up and kissed him on the cheek softly. Then she removed her hands and gave him a soft look.

--With a roll of his brown eyes, he knew that what she was saying could never be true on mulitple reasons. Neither of his parents that he knew of ever kept baby pictures, and Colton only had one of where he was honored as Prefect and then another as Head Boy with his professors and his Head of House at the time. And those pictures he had locked up in the attic of his house because he did not need pictures of himself in his home. He thought that it would be rather redundant. Colton smirked lightly, "Nice try, Ariah, no one has pictures of me as a baby. I was adopted." At least, as far as he was aware, no one had pictures of him. But then even Gabrielle added onto it, and he could not help but shake his head, and then turn his back on the two girls to get a soda out of the fridge. He twisted the lid off, and he took a small sip. He narrowed his eyes and he wanted to say something but since his sister was in the room, he deemed it inappropriate, but that gleam in his brown eyes said what his words could not. She has already seen him naked before so why would she need to see him as a baby anyway? Colton would not really care if she wanted to see his baby pictures or not, but since he did not have any, there would be no point in trying to find out. Colton was in fact rather busy with things lately, and the door to the room where their first daughter would have stayed if she had survived was still locked and sealed, where no one has entered it from the day that he found out that their baby girl did not even survive. He really did not want to look in there anymore because of how much it pained him, and he had yet to show anyone actually. It was just hidden and kept away from everyone. At least Ariah seemed rather laid back when he told her why he did not tell her in the beginning that she was moving in. He was madly in love, happier now that he had Gabrielle with him. And like this, he could keep a better eye on her if and when she were to get sick again. Colton worried so much over Gabrielle and half the time he should not really, but that was one of the prices for falling in love, he supposed. Though the feeling of those damned butterflies would have felt nice if they would have left because it was similar to a feeling of about to vomit. Thank goodness he had not done that since he was twelve and had the stomach virus. Though one potion cured that traumatic experience. One of the many things that got him into wanting to be a Healer.

--Nothing in the Healer dictionary could cure the symptoms of being in love though, no matter how hard he looked because he was scared that if it was too obvious, Colton would lose Gabrielle because she had him convinced that she did not believe in love and thus, did not love him at all. Ariah even pointed it out, and Colton just bit his lip out of nervousness. She was far too observant, and then it was Gabrielle's words of 'We are not in love' that made him think that she was just speaking for herself on that one. How much Colton wanted to say that but instead he just remained silent and averted his eyes to the ceiling of the kitchen. Colton just did not know how he could or would ever tell her without knowing if she loved him because nothing hurt worse than telling someone you loved them and them not returning it. Well, that was what he was told anyway in many books. Colton heard that she was just a few months along, which was good because maybe they would be able to actually have this one. But a small voice in the back of his mind told him not to get his hopes up. No matter what he wanted to do or say, that little voice was always there. Maybe they could take or brew something that would help give strength to the baby. Colton really wanted their second baby to live this time around, but what could be done so that it would actually survive? Colton nodded lightly, and he grinned, "Well, maybe Ariah will be an Aunt or something one of these days. How are you feeling?" Colton hoped that she was not feeling nearly as bad now as she was feeling with their first daughter. She looked so miserable and there was nothing he could do about it as well. Colton was a little surprised to say the least when Ariah seemed to blow up about him questioning her relationship with Leviathan Zhefarovich. Perhaps she did not understand how serious it was. Seeing how she reacted to it, he knew that she did not know everything, and Colton was so tempted to throw out that her life was at stake but he remained quiet. And this was the part of parenthood that he did not look forward to. "Don't worry about it, but I need to speak to some man named Asparuh Zhefarovich over the matter. I just don't understand why she has to be in one."

Gabrielle was sorely reminded of the fact that the love of her life was adopted. Often she tried to forget it because it made her feel sad for him and the loneliness he must have had to grow up with. Despite the fact that her mother was always gone and when she was home she was as harsh and cruel as ever, at least she had her true parent there to raise her and teach her right from wrong and everything a girl needed to know. But she wasn't able to think about it for long because he smirked lightly and told Ariah that there were no pictures of him that anyone had. And as he got a soda out of the fridge and took a small sip, she noticed the gleam in his brown eyes and bit her lip to keep from snickering. It didn't even take her long to get what that look he was giving her was about. It was probably the most suggestive thing she had ever seen come from her boyfriend and boy was it able to make her blush. Yes it was true that she had seen him naked before, many many times actually. But why would she need to see him as baby? Well that was an easy answer too, she just wanted to see how cute a mini Colton looked. He already had the cutest face she had seen on a guy his age in the longest time, so she could barely imagine how cute he looked as little baby. Plus if there was ant chance that their baby would get his gene's, then she hoped he was a cute baby. "I'd still pay tons of money to see how cute you looked as baby. But thats okay, my baby pictures were really bad too. I had these gigantic blue eyes that made me look like an owl. I was not a cute looking kid at all, It was so embarrassing." Gabrielle admitted shyly as her cheeks turned red and she hid her face for a moment so she wouldn't have to catch Colton's glance and started to laugh. It was true. No matter how beautiful people thought she was today there was one true fact about her life and that was that she was not the prettiest little girl in the world. But at least she didn't know Colton when she was little. That might have turned him off just a little bit. Gabrielle lurked over and grabbed a soda of her own before she uncapped it and took a sip. The little confrontation between Colton and Ariah still warmed her heart. But even if Ariah didn't like it she didn't know if she could just leave this place either. After being asked to move in with Colton Gabrielle left the house to her brother and his new wife, she didn't want to deal with them anyways so it was theirs. Plus Gabrielle had grown used to living here and being close to Colton. Every morning she usually woke up half an hour to an hour after him so they never fought over the bathroom. Then she cooked him breakfast and then hung out until they had to go to work. When they came home or on the weekends there was never a schedule. Some nights they went out, some they stayed in, the point was that Gabrielle liked living here. She didn't want to miss any of it.

Noticing the look on Colton's face, Gabrielle frowned softly. He looked either nervous or like someone had just run over his puppy or something. Did she say something wrong? Her sky blue eyes softened and she approached Colton softly. "Colton...is something up?" Her eyes stared at him as if telling him that she was really concerned about him and wanted to know what was wrong. Was he really bothered by what is sister said? Was he incredibly repulsed by someone saying that it looked like they were in love? Because he was acting like it really bothered him. Ow did that hurt too, Gabrielle felt this pang in her chest that pretty much killed all the butterflies she had fluttering around in there from her lovey dovey feeling she had when Ariah pointed out that they looked like they were in love. She wanted to tell him so much how she felt. To tell him that no one would ever care about him more than she did, but she wanted him to tell her first. So her heart didn't get broken in case he didn't. But since he hadn't said it, or given her a sign, perhaps he didn't even consider ever loving her to begin with. When Colton asked how she was feeling, Gabrielle blinked for a moment, not extremely sure what he was asking, but then a moment passed and she remembered about the pregnancy and figured that was what he was talking about. "Actually, so far I've felt great. A little more tired then usual but I've only gotten sick like once so far and stuff. This baby has huge craving for fruits though, just letting you know in case all the fruit in the house disappears." Gabrielle leaned up and kissed him softly, a smile on her face the entire time. This baby made her hungry for fruit like she was a beast from hell. So far today she had down an entire bowl of blueberries and half a container of strawberries. Which was a lot for her. Gabrielle pulled away from her boyfriend to take another drink of her soda, which she wasn't supposed to do in the first first place because pregnant women weren't supposed to have caffeine. But she was hoping that Colton wouldn't notice and take it away from her. About halfway through a drink of soda Colton mentioned the name of her step-father, immediately she spit the drink out and wiped her chin. "Asparuh Zhefarovich? Nononononono, you definitely don't wanna talk to him...about anything." Gabrielle cleaned up her soda mess and told Colton in a serious voice. That was the last man anyone wanted to talk to about anything if they weren't related to him. Especially when it came to more important business matters. What if he hurt Colton? Gabrielle would be heartbroken.

--Colton never really felt like he should be even pitied for growing up in a life of solitude and isolation. He was not like that now, which was the main point of his life. He had people in it now, and he wanted them to be rather happy with him around. Even though he was a mistake to his parents. Colton never really felt like he was wanted by neither of them, but that did not bother him. The fact that his siblings were pretty much ignorant of his existence except the older ones were in fact proof of that. Colton tapped his fingers against the counter, but he stopped doing that as it seemed to make him seem like he was impatient over something, so he resumed his stance of having his arms folded across his chest, and he thought that it was awful sweet of Gabrielle to blush like she just had. Colton averted his brown eyes to the floor, realizing the reason why she blushed, and knew that it was very ungentleman-like of him to have done or even motioned toward that. Colton glanced over at Gabrielle and heard what she said, and then he too blushed lightly. Well, he did not really know what to say to that because he had no idea what he looked like as a baby. All he knew was that he was born with black hair and chocolate eyes, but the black soon changed over to a dark brown as he aged. He was not born special or anything, just a young boy, and he happened to have pure-blood running in his veins. Colton pointed out, "If you have a boy, that favors me, then I guess you would get a faint clue. But I highly doubted that you looked like an owl." Colton could not even bring himself to laugh at that. No one could help what they looked like, even as a baby. Even though Gabrielle was laughing, the only thing close to it that spread across his lips was a faint smile. That was all that passed. Colton made sure that he was not in the way of his girlfriend when she crossed the kitchen to get a soda from the fridge, and he wondered now what did Gabrielle look like as a baby, and now he was just curious. What if he saw her as a baby, would that have been what should have been born of their daughter? Big, blue eyes that fancied an owl, but that would be over-exaggerating it a bit, so he would think at least. Colton did not think that one's eyes could even get that big. How in the world could they get that big anyway? Colton was trying to focus his mind on that, and shook his head, thinking it to be a wasted subject to even think about really.

--What was even worse was that Gabrielle caught onto his nervousness about his reaction over Ariah's statement, and more so, her answer in return. How in the hell did she catch onto that so quickly? Colton looked away, made sure that he practiced his vacant expressions, before his expression returned to normal, just blank and cold like it normally was when he was at work. Colton murmured, "It is...nothing." Colton hated lying to her, but he had no idea if she knew what it was like to love someone that did not even believe that love existed. It was a slap to the face, and a stab to the pride. He did not know how to show someone that he loved them, and well, he thought that moving in with him would be some sort of clue, and then letting her see him cry. That would be a hint, wouldn't it? But he was not even seeing her own hints. Why didn't he think that she loved him? Perhaps it was just her words that always echoed in his mind all the time that he thought about telling her. Though the subject was changed which he was glad for because he could let his facial expression melt into what he was feeling, which was happiness that he wanted to share with her over having another child, one that might live this time. She felt great, which was a good sign, though being more tired than usual is also a sign, no idea whether it was good or bad, but weakness was not a good sign. The baby made her crave fruits too, which he laughed a little bit. "Hopefully I won't want an apple anytime soon then, saving it for the baby I suppose," Colton said with a smile on his lips. However, he wondered why she loved fruits so much, or he. Well, more vitamins and minerals for the baby, he guessed. Maybe they could start out on taking some potion to make sure that the baby lives this time, only if Gabrielle was up for it that is. Gabrielle kissed him softly, and Colton returned the favor with a gentle kiss of his own. The moment that he mentioned the name 'Asparuh Zhefarovich', Gabrielle had the most interesting reaction. She spit out her drink, and he raised an eyebrow. Colton nodded at the name when she repeated it, but said that she did not want to talk to him about anything. How did she know him? Colton was still as stubborn as ever. "I need answers, Gabrielle. And he is the only man I know that would give them to me. How do you know him, or rather, know that I would not want to talk to him?" Colton was suspicious now. How big and connected was this Zhefarovich family? The family that made Adrian leave the room at mention, and struck fear into many?

Gabrielle thought about having a little boy. She actually preferred to have a boy over a girl because females just made everything more complicated and she knew that for a fact. Plus she thought it would be more than adorable to have a little baby boy that looked just like his dad, Gabrielle figured she wouldn't make a very good boy anyways since he would probably end up looking like her brother. "I pray that if it is a boy he ends up looking like you, because if he ends up looking my brother, I'll never ever forgive myself." She teased as she took another drink of her soda. There could also be a chance that it would look like one of his brother's or something because genes were always weird with the way they worked. But she hoped that they stayed within her and his features. Gabrielle also could hope enough that the child was born with a brain. Since Colton was far from being dumb and so was she, there was no way she was going to let the kid's head be filled with sawdust or something, that was her brother's card. Another smile grazed her lips when he said that he highly doubted that she looked like an owl. So he didn't believe her when she said that she had really big eyes. It made her smile just because it meant that for a moment he could have been denying the fact that she was a horribly ugly child. But she really was and that made it that much funnier. Her brother always told her that she would never get married or find a guy because she looked too much like a bloody damn pigeon. Well it goes to show him. Sometimes she still felt that she had big eyes yet here she was pregnant, in love, and living with the most perfect guy in the world right now. There wasn't a single thing about her life that she would trade right now. Well except that she was starting to feel slightly nauseous. Breathing out slowly she rubbed her stomach and pushed the can of soda away. The baby certainly did not like the taste of that. However she hid her uncomfortable look when a grin. "Oh...you doubt me looking like an owl hm? I remember once that when I was eleven, my brother and his really cute friend called me a bloody pigeon. So I tied them to a tree in the woods. Too everyone almost two days to find them." Gabrielle shrugged her shoulders. She sort of liked sharing some of her childhood memories with Colton because she sort of felt like the more he knew, the longer he could have been in her life. But there was something things she wasn't sure if she ever wanted him to know. Like the loneliness and the Death Eaters, and certainly now how Xander had ruined her views and opinions on love by breaking her heart and making her feel like the biggest fool in the world.

"Are you sure it is nothing? Colton you know you can tell me anything right?" Her baby blue eyes stared up at him worriedly, she had an urge to embrace him and never let him go, so she could take away all that was bothering him. But she was worried. What if he was upset with her. Like it could have been her fault and he was just afraid to tell her because she was pregnant and he didn't want her to get upset. The situation did not get better either because he claimed that he wanted to speak with Asparuh. Once Gabrielle cleaned up her soda mess she removed herself from the kitchen and brought herself to the living room where she sat herself on the couch and sighed as she let her back rest against the couch. So he wanted to meet with Asparuh. As much as she loved him, she was thinking he was a fool right about now. Her eyes drifted over to him where she met with with a soft but stern look. Gabrielle wanted to be the one that protected him. But she didn't know if she could protect anyone from Asparuh if he so dared to go after them. "Answers about the arranged marriage? He's married to my mother...making him my step-father, Colton I know him. I know what he does to people. If you question him the wrong way...he could hurt you. He could take away everything you hold dear....I want to protect you...so if you must go, I'm going with you." Gabrielle told him as she brought her knee's up to her chest and breathed out to try and make it seem like she wasn't worried. Asparuh could take Colton away from her. He could take her away from him, he didn't play games and she wasn't sure on how he would take to being questioned to his family customs. What would her mother think as well?

--Colton could not resist laughing when she said that she was hoping that if it was a boy that she was having, it would not look like her twin brother, Xavier. Colton had only seen him a few times, if only once actually from what he could recall. Colton did not think that the man was bad looking or anything, because he seemed like a regular man to him. Colton was not attracted to boys either so he really could not speak about how handsome some would be. He never took pleasure in aesthetics. Colton smiled, "Looking like Xavier wouldn't be the end of the world. Now, acting like him, that would be a completely different story." Was that not the truth? It was acting and whatnot that was the biggest thing with having a baby. Colton wondered what their new baby would act like, who it would resemble the most. It might even turn out to act like Adrian and then he would never forgive himself for putting Gabrielle through so much pain then because Adrian was just not the best role model in the world. Now if their baby was a boy and acting like Yvo, Colton would not mind at all because Yvo's attitude was nothing short of satisfactory compared to that of Adrian and Xavier's. Colton narrowed his eyes a bit as he thought about their baby. He wanted a baby with Gabrielle. He would go as far as saying that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Colton still could not imagine Gabrielle looking like an owl and all. He just could not see it. However, maybe it was other people that said it thus she believed it. She could have been a little angel, and someone could have convinced her that she looked like Merlin's left - well, she might have believed anything back when she was a kid. Colton didn't know. Colton pointed out, "Well, that guy obviously deserved being tied to a tree. Him and his bloody friend." Colton hated people like that, and it was just unnerving that someone had to suffer through bullying however she seemed capable of handling herself even then when she managed to tie them to a tree. Colton never had to endure bullying because he was a Slytherin, and he just glared at others when they tried to say something to him that he did not like. It worked, clearly. Colton could give out some cold, mean glares when he wanted to.

--The Healer thought about telling her then, but he chose against it. He knew that he could trust her with anything and everything, but this matter could destroy all that because he knew what he had heard, and knew that she did not believe in what he had fallen in. Colton nodded and he smiled to reassure her that nothing was wrong. He hoped that nothing was wrong anyway. He was just covering up his feelings for her. Colton coaxed, "I trust you with everything, Belle. So, when I say it is nothing, it is nothing; or else I'd share it with you because I know I can tell you anything." Colton averted his eyes at the last part. Well, he could tell her everything, except one sentence that had three words, and eight letters. Colton followed Gabrielle into the living room once she had cleaned up the soda mess, which he did not even see had spilled, because he was so distracted as it was anyhow. With his feelings coming out and his thoughts on seeing this Asparuh man, he wanted to get everything straightened out and see why that family also made others pale just by the mention of their last name. Colton took a seat next to Gabrielle and he put his arm around her shoulder so that he could hold her as well as talk to her about this. He knew what he wanted to do, and he saw no danger in it - however he was ignorant, completely ignorant. Even after seeing one witch there dead under that last name, he was still determined to go see Asparuh. When Gabrielle started to speak, Colton was even more amazed that Asparuh was her step-dad. He could take everything he held dear? That was not really enough to scare Colton away, but he did not know how Asparuh would know what all he held dear. Colton shrugged lightly, "Well, if he is really that dangerous, I don't want you going around him really. But he is your step-father, and you know what all he does to people? What does he do to people, exactly? I just want to ask him why my sister out of all the others out there. Surely one could not get pissed off about that, right?" Colton was feeling a little unsure now, what if she was right? Colton was unsure, but his determination would undermine anything else. "Well, I'm a pureblood, and I was once a Slytherin. So, maybe that could make a slight difference?" Maybe prejudice...or knowing what Colton was, would lighten the mood up?

Gabrielle still didn't feel reassured about him telling her everything, she still sensed that something was wrong and he wasn't telling her something. There was no way for her to read his mind or convince him that if it was anything serious that she needed to know. Not knowing what was going through his mind scared her. Since she had such strong feelings for him it was like she always wanted to know what he was feeling or thinking about. A gracious sigh left her when he used that nickname, Belle. He knew that she liked hearing him say the name. So sweet, romantic, and simple with the way it sounded yet she knew it was all hers, no other girl would be Belle to him. He told her that it really was nothing and if there was that he would share it with her. Because he could tell her anything. All she could do was shake her head and release him. "I don't believe you Colton, I can tell that something's not right here and I wish you would just tell me. Just...it's not some other girl is it?" That would suck. Mostly because here she was, pregnant and in love with him and if it was some other girl he was hung up over then she would be screwed and most likely doomed to be alone. She had never felt this way about anyone else in her life and she didn't want to know what a true broken heart felt like. It messed her mother up pretty badly so she could scarcely imagine what it would do to her. Gabrielle trusted Colton to never do anything with anyone else but if he had feelings she couldn't keep him from any true happiness he wanted. Whether she was having a kid with him or not. It would be lonely and cruel but it wouldn't kill her, unless it was actually possible to die from a broken heart. Once on the couch she watched as Colton came over too. Which she didn't want because she wanted a little distance from him. If he was close then she would get comfortable and she'd forget all about this. Being in love was stupid and it made her do the most foolish thing. She would have rather been born and died without having known what love was because it torn a person apart. The moment Colton put his arm around Gabrielle she immediately tensed and forced herself to do something that she never thought she'd do. Gabrielle ducked her way out of Colton's hold and scooted away. Gabrielle would not let him hold her, not when she was feeling like this and not while she was scared to get attached and forget that she was supposed to be upset with him. The blonde beauty brought her legs up onto the couch and wrapped her arms around them. He still wanted to meet Asparuh too.

"I'll have to go around him sooner or later, he's married to my mother and she's nearly as bad as he is. He kills people Colton, sometimes for no reason but out of pure anger. You'd be a fool to walk right in there and question him about anything. They could torture you...If he ever hurt you or anything I'd...." Gabrielle's tone was filled with worry and displeasure. He wanted to go in there and actually question Asparuh about something that could set him off and bring him to harm Colton. It would break her heart completely if harm were to come to the love of her life. But he was walking himself right into it, right into his death. When he asked if being a former Slytherin and pure blood would help and all she could do was shrug her shoulders. It was hard to say if what he said would make them more likely to accept him. Then there was her mother that she wanted to impress with Colton, she wanted to be with him forever if she could and if they were ever to marry and Danielle disapproved then it would be hell. Sighing Gabrielle got up without word. She wanted to apologize and kiss him and just say; 'I love you do damn much it's hurting us both' But she could not and she wasn't sure if she wanted. Silently she made her way towards the bedroom.

--The Healer had to just keep with his hiding of his feelings, because he did not want her to know that he was in love with her because he was afraid that she would end up breaking it off with him because he was getting too close to her, which he did not want to do until she loved him in return. Which if she did, then she would not have said that she did not believe in love, right? Colton wanted her to love him but never knew what type it was. However, there was something wrong, and then she had shown it when she scooted from his touch. He also noticed and comprehended what she had said. Some other girl? Was she thinking about that? Colton retreated to just folding his arms across his chest, and he felt almost offended that she would think that there was another girl. Why would she think that? Colton wondered if she even trusted him. Colton would remain as faithful as they come, and he thought that she would have known that at least. Colton breathed out, "It is not time yet to tell, okay? I will, but now is not the time. But how in the world could you think that it is another woman in my life? I could never have more than one girl in my life." Colton had no feelings for anyone else, and he would never anyway. It took forever for Colton to even gain feelings for Gabrielle and they had a natural connection. Colton let out a frustrated sigh and he narrowed his eyes at the floor. Colton could not even think straight because he felt like he was accused of liking or even loving another woman. He could never do that. Not when his heart was written out for just Gabrielle, and that was all. He did not think that she would react well to the whole him loving her right now.

--He watched her actions that indicated that she did not want to be touched, but it was enough to just make him uncomfortable, more so than she knew. Colton felt like she was almost forcing him to tell something that was not yet time to be told. He could not do that and risk everything. Colton was scared of losing her when he just become something that he could actually live with. Everyone was liking his improvement of his attitude over the past year. Colton was not going to back down from this, seeing as it would be cowardly to do so. Though she did not know what exactly what was going through his mind right now. Once he heard what all she said, Colton was convinced somehow that he would not piss off this man, this Asparuh Zhefarovich. But her final words were something else. If Asparuh ever did anything to him, then what would Gabrielle do? After she had thought that he would end up feeling for another women. Colton was concerned. What all could the man do to him? Her tone was filled with worry so he knew that she cared for him, but was it love? Colton watched her shrug and she shrugged when he told her if it would help if he was a pureblood and a Slytherin. He did not know if it would or not. He bowed his head and he thought and thought. He could think of nothing, but he had to see...why his sister? And he did not understand why Gabrielle was so against it. He had to see if it was his sister. Colton watched her get up to move toward the bedroom but he rose up from the couch, and he pointed out, "Okay, what is really going on? If something happened to me, what would you do, granted I don't find a way out of it? I care about my sister and I just have to know." Colton wanted an answer just a moment though before she would end up going to the bedroom.

It wasn't time for him to tell? Just this little sentence alone was enough to drive Gabrielle into the brink of madness. If now was not the time then when would be the time to tell? Waiting to know what it is that was bothering him worried her and brought out the impatient side of her that she didn't like to let people know existed. A saddened sigh escape Gabrielle and she brushed some of her hair behind an ear and let her blue eyes and fall to the floor for a moment. "When in the world will it be the time to tell though? Are you really going to let me sit there and worry until you are ready to tell?" She paused for a moment. "I never thought there was another actual woman hu-Colton, I was only asking. I know your better than that." She started with a sigh as she cocked her head to the side and didn't say anything more. It was easy to tell that she had upset Colton by her statement of there being another woman. She hadn't meant it like that. Never would she think that there was actually another woman in his life. But she felt the need to ask if there was someone else on his mind. Colton didn't seem like the type but it was very possible to love two people at once. Gabrielle had seen it countless times before and it never looked like it was at all easy on the poor heart of the person who held affections for two. But she was happy and delighted to hear that she was the only girl in his life. If it hadn't been for the worry she was feeling, she would have cuddled him like crazy. He was the best boyfriend in the world but they were hitting their first bump and it was pretty much all her fault. Gabrielle was nervous about him keeping stuff from her, she loved him but he didn't return her affections, and he was letting her grow worried for his safety. She would have successfully made it to the bedroom too if Colton hadn't also risen and started to say something else to her. "It doesn't matter what I'd do, what does matter is that you wan to go in there with a couple of humanity despising Death Eaters and assume that they won't do anything to you. Colton I've felt and lived through their anger before, and I don't want them to destroy the one thing in my life that isn't sh*t." Gabrielle told him softly, but with a sternness to it that said that she wasn't going to change her opinion on this topic. In a way it was like her awkward and hidden way of saying that she loved him. Because he was the one thing in her life that truly meant something to her and wasn't destroyed yet. She loved him. Actually loved him and wanted to spend her life with him. Her heart would be destroyed if her mother or Asparuh took him from her. They would have to get through her if they wanted to do anything to him.

Gabrielle was getting ready to head back to her room, but an overwhelming feeling of guilt took over her body and now she just longed to hold Colton and tell him that she was sorry. He was everything to her and she wasn't upset, she was just worried that he was going to do something stupid. With a sigh she stopped walking and turned back around. Who cares if she was upset? She didn't even ask him if it was alright but instead wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, where she buried her head into his chest. She just wanted to be held by him. "Ohhh I'm sorry. I don't even know why I did that I'm just worried...and I really like you so I don't want you to get hurt or anything. And I think the baby is messing with my hormones and..and... Please don't be mad." Gabrielle cutely pouted out her lip as she pulled away a little and looked up at Colton. She even fluttered her eyelashes and gave her best attempt at a puppy dog look to get him to melt and hopefully not be mad at her. Gabrielle's hands rubbed his back softly before she leaned up to kiss him softly. Although she was cold hearted and had trouble opening up, she knew vaguely on how to soften up any man. Another moment or two and Gabrielle smiled softly, letting the worry and the temporary feeling of upset fade away, she backed away from Colton softly. Though she paid little attention to where she was going, her left foot ended up getting caught on the coffee table, and the petite blonde tripped over herself and landed butt first on the floor right in front of her boyfriend. Her cheeks dusted a red immediately and she laughed softly as her hand went around to her backside. "Ohhkay, that really hurt my butt. Ow." Gabrielle winced. Even the baby must have felt that landing and she mentally apologized to it. Hopefully Colton wasn't mad at her anymore though. She did not want to fight with him anymore. Especially since she really would miss cuddling with him at night.

Colton just let out a frustrated sigh. He knew that it was not time now, because he had to know how she herself felt about the feelings of love anyway. He needed to know how she would handle a man loving her when she does not believe in love. Colton just felt really bad about not telling her but he did not know how she would handle it. Colton did not know how to answer her because he did not know the answer himself, he did not know when it would be time to tell her. He wanted to, and it bothered him to the core of just losing sleep and everything over it. Colton smiled at her and he murmured, "It is nothing to worry about, but the time will come, soon." He did not know how soon, but the tone of voice he used was not uncertain at all. He seemed confident in his answer. However, he continued, "If you thought that there was not another girl, and how you trust me, why did you even mention it?" He would never think of any like that, not with Gabrielle in his life. He did not know by the way she said it at all, but he knew that there was something wrong to make her think that to begin with. Colton never liked anyone or loved anyone as much as he had Gabrielle. A part of him was afraid that she did not trust him with not being loyal and thought of him like many other women thought of men, as trashy cheaters. Colton was anything but that. He could not stand to think of people like that, and he would never do that because he only had eyes for one. And if he doubted or fell from their relationship, then he would have told her and ended it. And he did not want to end it for the world. Colton wanted to have children with her, and wanted to be with her forever. He never wanted anything bad to happen to her. Colton was just a little upset that she would even think that there was another woman on his mind. He had no one on his mind other than family and her. That was all he had time for. Colton's eyes widened when he heard exactly what she said, and that they were Death Eaters and he did not know what they would do. But he did not think that anyone that came across them would be toasted on the spot or else they would not have had children or anything like that. Colton smiled warmly at her, and he nodded, "I understand, and trust me. As a Slytherin, I know a few tricks up my sleeve. I am glad that you care a lot for my safety, as I do yours. But...I have to see why if my sister does not go through this, her life will end shorter than it should. There might be a way out of it so that she doesn't have to risk her life. I just have to know, for her own sake." Colton had means to escape, whether that would be apparating or fighting his way outside even though he had no idea what the environment would hold.

Shifting in his shoes, he let his arms hang loosely by his side, and he started almost helplessly at Gabrielle with a sense of longing. He watched her begin to go back into the bedroom when she turned around, and then she ended up hugging him very tightly, and Colton almost jumped back in surprise and shock. Yet, Colton embraced her right back and he smiled gently. He held her close to him, and enjoyed the feeling of closeness that she provided for him. He did not care of she did not ask for and then she started to apologize for being worried, and he did not think that it was all her fault. He did not want to tell her the plans that he made but she did have a right to know because it was something that he had to do somehow. "Belle, you have every right to be worried, but this is me, and you should know that I can do what needs to be done. I won't be hurt, and you do need to just...relax. I'm not mad because you are worried about me. I don't see why anyone would." He kissed the top of her head and his anger from before did melt away as if he was never mad. The look she gave was just so sweet, and he melted even further, and kissed her softly in return. Wow, he was such a lucky guy right now. Colton dropped his hold on her when she started to back away from him, and he smiled. He loved her, and thought that it was obvious as it shone on his handsome face. However, the moment that her foot caught on the coffee table, her blonde self tripped and she fell right on her butt. Colton raised an eyebrow, saw that she was all right and even blushing. Colton could not resist shaking his head and laughing softly at what had happened in front of him tonight. Colton approached her and he smirked a bit down at her, and wrapped his arm around her waist. "I can take you into the bedroom and treat that for you, if you like." He turned his wrist and it cracked just a bit, before he chuckled and could not believe that his girlfriend pulled a stunt like that, but it also left him an opening to say that to her as well.
