Lexy Martinez was by no means affable in any sense of the word. She was a not a con artist either. So when on Mr Gabriel Fletcher - 6', 160lbs, black hair, blue eyes as listed on the file Lexy had- decided to not pay her for her honest work, it pissed the petite, scottish girl off a bit. What did it more is that the money that Lexy made was a fraction of what she always gave to her best friend, Zero - whom labored over the wands. Screw with Lexy, and perhaps the girl would let a person off with the warning, screw with her friend's way to pay for her sister's books, and then there were issues. After all, Yiwen was basically Zeros child since she took care of her - and the brunette though Zero should be able to give the best school life to her almost-spawn. So she stood on the doorstep to get the money - plus interest.

Outfit revealing as it was, apparation made it to where she didn't wait long. She knocked harshly on the door and waited. Lexy knew he was a scummy teen boy - so she'd try adn get the money nicely, if not she had other ways to do so. In the cold air her lips chapped quickly, and Lexy ran her tongue over red painted lips as she waited for the boy - men paid their dues - to open the door and invite her in. After all, she wasn't threatening. Even in her heels she was only 5'2" - so knew he'd say yes to allowing her in.

With Prue's funeral in New Zealand, and the mounting pressures of adult life, Gabriel hadn't really had time to think about that wand he'd bought off some tiny girl in a dodgy pub before Christmas. It didn't help that he hadn't touched the wand since he'd first bought it, tried it out, and discovered that it hadn't been any good whatsoever. Clearly it was a fake wand - or at least, he told himself that, because it was less painful than admitting the truth. He was rubbish at magic. Truly awful. And no wand could ever make him a better wizard.

So when the knock came at his door, his mind didn't immediately jump back to the wand trafficker. He briefly wondered if it was Sav, but he knew her signature knock too well to dwell on that thought for long. Besides, he hadn't heard a thing from Sav since she'd spent the night the week before. That hurt. Yet somehow, he didn't feel impelled to get in touch with her himself. Maybe it had something to do with how disappointing the evening had been; even though it was everything Gabe had ever hoped for, after it was over, he couldn't help feeling underwhelmed - and he was sure Saveli had felt that way, too.

Anyway - it was getting pretty late. Who the heck was calling at this hour? Gabriel unlocked the door, removed the chain, and pulled it open. "Oh, hey," he said, a smirk forming on his lips. He leaned against the door frame and folded his arms, barely even pausing to consider how she'd got his address. Honestly, that wasn't really what was going through his mind. "Miss me that much, did you? Guess I am pretty hard to resist. Coming in?"

Lexy watched him eye her and though she wanted to be flattered she couldn't stop thinking of how dumb he was for immediately inviting her in. Lexy didn't think he was really using his brain though. The petite brunette smiled coyly. "I suppose not, Mr. Fletcher." She entered the house and closed the door behind herself but didn't move from it. "I was actually here because I had a very important thing to ask you." Lexy walked around his dirty, dingy little flat for a moment, running her thin fingers over counter tops, and glancing around to try and see if he'd left his wand out.

Finally after a moment of intentional suspense she approached Gabriel, hips sashaying side to side as she did. Once she reached an area where they were close a slender arm raised to grasp the back of his head and pull him down to her level. Once her lips were nearly touching the shell of his ear she asked that all important question. "Where the f*** is my money?"

Gabriel watched with raised eyebrows as the woman made her way around his flat, arms still folded across his chest. What was she going to do? Presumably she was after her money - not even Gabriel was slow enough not to realise that. Well, if she'd come for her money, she was in for a nasty surprise. As she approached, the smirk returned to his face. He stood firmly on the carpet, following her with his eyes. Hm. Maybe she really had come back because she fancied him, after all-

Oh, s**t. Gabriel jerked away, his face creased into a frown. "You're having a laugh, yeah?" he said. "Your pissing wand didn't even work. How about I'll pay you when you do a job worth being paid for."

Lexy watched him jerk away and chuckled. Though her laugh was much like that of a pixie/human hybrid, there was a sinister tone to it. The brunette however did not laugh at his last comment. "Excuse me?" She inquired angrily. "The Wand I bring are the finest quality crafted with the best of the best of woods and ingridients. If the wand didn't work maybe you're a sh** wizard. Or maybe you don't know how to use it." She spoke, trying to wound any part of his pride. "Last chance Pretty Boy. You pay me what I'm owed or else." She spoke. There was nothing more than malice in Lexy's voice. She didn't play games. Not with anyone, and she wasn't about to start with this kid.

Backing away Lexy slipped off her heels shrinking down to 4'11". While she wasn't threatening at this height it was something she wasn't ashamed of either. She couldn't kick him down to her level if she was wearing heels. "Gimmie an answer Mr. Fletcher."

Gabriel jerked his head. What did she just say? His face reddened with a strange mixture of humiliation and rage, and he swallowed quickly to try to regain some composure. Then she was slipping off her shoes, reducing her height to that of a part-goblin. Gabriel managed to smirk despite himself. "Or else what?" he said, laughing. "What are you going to do? Tickle me to death? I don't have your money, and I don't have your wand any more - I snapped it. So if it's all the same with you, I'd like you to get out of my flat."

Lexy gave a large smirk at the reddening of his face, her eyes obviously showing delight that she'd managed to get to him. However it was short lived when he told her he didn't have her money or the wand. "Snapped a fine quality wand? You're a bigger idiot than I thought. First you let me into the house, then you tell me you don't have the money and can't return your merchandise." She bit the inner corner of her lip. "There are other ways for you to pay Mister Fletcher." She remarked. Lexy quickly drew her wand and without a word she shot the stupefy spell out of the tip. There was nothing she hated more than someone who would cheat her out of money. Once Gabriel Fletcher smacked onto the floor Lexy made quick work of his hands and feet using incarcerous. She then used all her might to drag him into the main room where she could watch him while she rummaged through his crappy apartment flat for something that equaled the value of the wand she'd sold to him.

She searched every room, dragging Fletcher with her as she did. It wouldn't have taken so long if she didn't want to keep an eye on the idiot in case he woke up and tried other things. She easily found small trinkets, and a knot here or there - but really the guy barely had anything to steal. She had to search the bedroom last. The girl dragged him, leaving him half in the doorway, just enough to see his head. "If you weren't so frickin' heavy this would have been over faster." She muttered, kicking at him gently to see if he was waking up yet. She then began to go through his drawers, looking for the last items to take.

It came from nowhere. Even if Gabe had been in any position to defend himself, he did not have his wand on him, and nor did he really know, if he were honest, how to cast an effective shield charm. So the bolt of light hit him smack in the chest, and he fell like a rag doll to the ground.

When he woke, the skin on his back was burning. And his wrists... why couldn't he move his feet? Slowly he opened his eyes. Up close, he could see just how dirty the carpet was, and took a minute just to look at all the crumbs and hairs and think about how disgusting he was for letting it get so bad. He blinked a few times, gradually coming around to his senses. Why couldn't he move? He lifted his hands to his face to examine them, frowning when he saw they were bound together with rope.

The wand trafficker.

Gabe craned his neck to look around at her. She was rifling through his drawers, as if she'd find anything worth selling in there. The only item of any real value he had in here was... Crap. In his bedside table. It was stupid, really - just a set of bone runes, sentimentally valuable more than anything else. But if the woman could pawn it off for a few Galleons, undoubtedly she'd try. Wait - was this the first room she'd ransacked, or was it the last? What else had she taken? He imagined his upturned living room and kitchen, every last thing he'd worked so hard for gone, just like that. How could this happen to him? It wasn't his fault he couldn't pay her. He'd had unexpected bills. He didn't even earn galleons - he'd have had to have converted his pounds, and when would he have had time to do that?

Gabriel rested his forehead on the carpet and started to cry. He hadn't meant to - he'd meant to say something vicious, to yell at her, tell her she'd pay for this - but the tears were coming and they wouldn't stop. He'd worked so, so hard for what little he had. He'd gotten a job, found himself a flat, moved away from his stupid dad. At this rate, he would have to move back in with him. At that thought, he cried harder.

Lexy was serching the beside table and there they were. Something that looked rather nice. They had carvings on them. "Huh.... wonder what these are." Lexy had never taken ancient runes, there was too much talking and not enough moving around. It was one of the reasons that she'd not been able to become an auror - that and her potions skills, well, she had no potions skills. She put everything back as it was except for the items she was stealing. She'd left all the pounds behind, as she really didn't care about them now. Instead she was interested in the square carved things. They looked sort of expensive. She put the cover back on place on the bed so it was made and looked at the dark haired man. Was that how she'd laid him. No he was definitely awake and he was... Crying?

poop. Lexy hated when people cried. How was she supposed to deal with that? She wasn't supposed to feel bad and she was sure if she saw his pathetic face she'd feel guilty. So Lexy sat on the bed facing away from him. "Why are you being so melodramatic. If you had payed me in the first place this wouldn't be an issue." She spoke, pushing through the drawer once more to see what was left in it. Nothing. She'd really taken everything. Maybe he thought she was going to kill him. "I'm not going to kill you if that's what you're worried about." The Scottish girl spoke. "But you really shouldn't have questioned my abilities either. Real big man you are laying on the ground." She prodded at him.

Gabriel tried to wipe his face on the carpet, without much success. All he got was a piece of grit in his eye. "Right, like you care." He struggled for a moment, his face screwed up with anger. Why did his back hurt? It was almost like... carpet burn. Had she seriously dragged him around the house? "Just get me out of these ropes," he said. "And then you can piss back off wherever you came."

Lexy rolled her eyes. "Listen if you're going to be like that then I don't care. Pretty boys are always such ***** anyways." She spoke with a laugh at her own comment. She moved from the bed over to him, looking at him. He seemed a bit uncomfortable. She reversed the rope charm wordlessly, and then cast Episky, in case she'd really hurt him. "There. Pay your dues from now on so bad things don't keep happening to you." Perhaps that was profound, but Lexy only meant monetarily, before she apparated away from his dingy, disgusting apartment.
