True to her style, Bethany had decided not to wear a dress to the Yule Ball again just like she hadn't last year. She still decided to dress somewhat nicely in a floral blouse and nice dress shorts and even decided to spice up her outfit with some heeled booties, just to make the outfit seem a little more formal. Beth pulled her wild, curly hair back in a sleek and smooth ponytail to polish off the look and headed down to the great hall for the night's festivities.
The Gryffindor had only been at the dance for a few minutes when she spotted a skating rink at the far end of the great hall for students to ice skate on. Bethany practically ran over to the area and looked around for ice skates, finding a shelf full of them for the students to wear at their convenience. The twelve year old pulled off her shoes, glad to be out of them sooner than she expected in the night and haphazardly pulled on the stubborn skates, impatiently lacing them up one at a time.
