- Is it that wooden thing the teachers always take?
It was Autumn in New Zealand, and it was Saria's last chance to visit the beach. She day was cool, but the sun warmed her skin. She had wanted to do all week, but was sick for the first part, and then forgot that she wanted to go a few days ago. Today the weather was perfect though, and she was clean and had found the perfect outfit. it made her smile, knowing that she was allowed out for the first time in a long time. She still hadn't told her sister about Oogi, and sometimes she would think about Riley; whom she had gone with. She didn't want to stress her sister out, just in case. Her sister didn't have time for those games.
She had a good friend of hers apparate her to the beach. That friend then left, not really liking the sun and such. Saria never understood how people could dislike sunlight. Sure, getting burned was painful, and then you peeled and it hurt more; but everything else was wonderful. She put down her beach towel, and then laid on the ground. She kept her cover on, and would until she was ready to swim. Her sunglasses kept her from being noticed, even with her eyes closed she felt weird. She knew what her eyes looked like. They scared her every once in a while.
