A bit of spare time between rigorous quidditch training, her classes, and answering the slowly accumulating pile of letters from her relatives had found Lesedi carrying a small package from where it had been delivered in the great hall just after breakfast that morning. It had been delivered by her family's owl, so she figured it was either an extra load of quills from her mother or a tube of broom polish from her father; however, once she saw her brother's name, written in his messy handwriting on the side of the box, she figured it could only be something he had picked up in whatever foreign country he had been playing in most recently.

Who knew what type of knick-knack could be inside? Last time her brother had been playing in Russia, and he had sent her back a set of enchanted Nesting Dolls that sang Russian lullabies when they were put back together in the right order. Another time it had been a Chinese coin, charmed so that whoever wore it around their neck could speak fluent Mandarin until the charm wore off. She couldn't wait to get to her dormitory to open it - she took a detour to the courtyard where the Conglomerated Arts club had their meetings and sat down on a bench with her package beside her. There weren't many people around, probably because of the sudden drop in the temperature, except for her and a group of older students playing Exploding Snap.

She had taken her eyes off of the package to watch the card game, debating on whether to open the package later and ask if she could join in, when there was a muffled explosion and the sound of cheers from the boy in Ravenclaw robes who had apparently won the game. Suddenly there was another sound, a sort of cr-ac-ack! like glass being squeezed, and Lesedi realized that it was coming from beside her... on the same side of the bench as her package. Sure enough, when her head whipped around there was another student there, sitting right on top of what was producing the sound - her package being crushed under their weight.

"Get up!" Lesedi screeched, jumping off the bench like she had been electrocuted. The older group of students had turned around and started to stare, but she didn't care; she was seeing red, frustrated and angry that the person sitting on the bench was oblivious to what they had done. "You're crushing it! Get up you idiot!"
