Hoshi and her mother had gotten closer over the holiday as her sickness was slowly becoming a thing of the past. This did not mean by any reason that Hoshi was giving up on what she had planned for her father. She was going to strike a blow against him. Eden had said that her girl she had been under the curse had been replaced by herself. Hoshi knew that this was only what her hell bent father wanted her to believe. There was something special about Hoshi and it wasn't her Koshiba half. She didn't quite know what this was but she knew this was why her father was bend on keeping such a worthless girl.

She stole floo powder from her mother and went all the way to Japan. "FATHER!" She yelled so that her voice echoed across the manor like it had when she had been little and was throwing yet another tantrum. This would send the manor staffing running to find Mr. Koshiba before the young 'princess' flew into a rage and actually destroyed the house. It never failed. Even know years after Hoshi had learned to control herself better it didn't take long for a communication to reach the ears of Mr. Koshiba. Hoshi was sure of this and waited with her arms crossed.

It warmed whatever heart Koaru had left to hear his true daughter's roar through the house again. He was expecting a vibrent young woman ready to take her place as a Koshiba power when he entered the room. What he found was the misguided girl that she had once been in her dark gothic clothes and dramatic make-up. Koaru sneered. It seemed like the power with in her was a bit too much for him to controle with that particuler spell. There was a no matter part there. All he needed was a stronger doseage of his kind of training and Hoshi would be brought to her knees. "Dear daughter why do you make such a fuss for the help of the house hold." He said though a chesher cat grin. He was eyeing Hoshi as if deciding what to do next with the girl that had so defied him.

Hoshi hated the way her father talked to her. Like she was a fricken baby and not a now fourteen year old young lady. It still steamed her that she had missed her own birthday because she had been in hospital fighting her darker half. Not that she was showing much an outcome her clothing was dark as ever and her hair was now pitch black but looked like it was being eaten up by green flames. Hoshi felt like she wanted to make the flames real now. "Don't you dare call me your daughter! Not after what you put me through!" She yelled her fists balled up. She was going make her father pay for his curse.

Eden heard Hoshi screaming through the house. Following father into the room that Hoshi was in Eden smirked. "Sister dear it is good to see you out of the hospital you gave us all such a scare." Eden was glad to see that Hoshi was fine but she was scared that she would lose everything that she had worked so hard for. Father had given his blessing to her and Chase to marry when they where of age. They would be next in line to lead the family but if father all of the sudden got Hoshi under control that would destroy everything and Eden would be second best and Eden was not going to have that. Snapping her fingers she watched as the maids rushed around to bring tea. "Would anyone care for a cup of tea?" Eden asked in the proper tone of a young Koshiba women.

Koaru was feuming under his pleasent mask. He was happy to see that his adoptive daughter at least was acting like she was born a Koshiba pureblood. "Yes your trip into St. Mungo's was alarming to say the least but we are happy to see you safe and sound. While you where out, your sister has been picking up the slack. She had made quite a few of my friends happy to see such an upright young woman take on the family name." He said hinting at what Hoshi was lacking. He was hoping that this would be enough that he didn't need a spell to get Hoshi under controle, that she would want her place in the family and prove all the people that doubted his ablities wronge. Eden was a good girl but Hoshi had power beyond the normal witch. Harnessed right she would be a force to be wreckonded with.

Hoshi didn't want to play games with the two anymore. She looked at Eden with a twist in her lips. "Eden-chan there is a reason my friends didn't like you." She said shaking her head. She looked at her father dead in the eyes. She knew that as long as she was part of this family Koaru Koshiba had power over her, as long as she was a child of this bloodline she would be trapped inside the rules they set so Hoshi did the one thing that she knew would remove all control he had over her. "I denounce the name Koshiba and all it represents!" She said in Japanese. She didn't care of Eden was trying to be the Koshiba girl that Hoshi was meant to be. Hoshi welcomed her to take it more than anything in the world.

A sudden wind swept though the manor as if Hoshi had tapped into an unspoken magic. Her flaming hair whipped around her as she looked at the two of them with anger in her eyes. Words had power the ancients knew it and that's why they created spells in their native tongue. As the years passed the words became related to the spell more than the intent behind them. Hoshi had tapped into that. As the wind whipped around her she could feel the family ties snap, finally unwrapping her true self to the fullest. The wind stopped and she felt for the first time pure. "It is done, and so are we Mr. Koshiba." She said with a smirk on her face.

Eden watched with a calm look on her face. She loved her sister but she wanted to be the favorite and if she had to kill to be the favorite than she would. "Your friends did not like me because they wish they could be like me. They want the power but are to scared to embrace it." Eden no longer cared about the goth gang and there childish games. She knew what true power was and she was going to make it hers. Listening as Hoshi spoke in Japanese. Eden felt her eyes widen. Hoshi was giving up the name of the Koshiba. Knowing what she must do Eden walked over to Hoshi and embraced her. "I accept the name of the Koshiba and welcome all it represents." Eden knew that not many people knew she had learned Japanese but she had from the wise women of the house.

Eden felt the wind whip around them she was not scared this pleased her. Everything she had wanted was coming into play. Letting out a laugh. Eden backed away from Hoshi. Eden could feel the power flowing through her it felt so good to know that she was getting the family she wanted. When the wind stopped Eden felt like a new person like there was nothing she could do. Walking back over to father. Eden fall to the ground in front of him in a bow. She did not need to see anything more. It was over there was no taking it back. Hoshi was out and Eden was in. There would undoing it.

Ties of magic where stragne and mystiriose when it came to the Koshiba name. Koaru watched as his daughter shouted the very words that made it so he could not keep her in the way that he wanted. He could cast another impirios curse on her but it would do little good. What had been holding her would never come back the way it did and he would have to be present at all times if he wanted to act the way she had been the year before. He also watched Eden take what Hoshi had thrown into the air. Koaru bend down and picked up his knew blood relation.

"Rise Eden and hold you head up high for yours will be all of Japan." He said and held her tight. He clapped his hands to have the maids take the young girl away while he stayed there with the girl that used to be his daughter. "You no longer belong in this house. What name will you take?" He asked. He needed to know. The house was charmed so that people with certin names could not enter without suffering some kind of pain. He wanted to make sure that this girl could never stain the Koshiba household again.

It surprised Hoshi that Eden had taken that without missing a beat. The burden was her's to carry now. Eden would be expected to be the perfect woman, the perfect companion, the perfect wife until the day came that she was to dispose of the person that had given her so much. Hoshi returned the hug. "I hope your happy with the path that you have chosen." She said as Eden let go then turned to the fireplace. Hoshi tossed a handful of green powder into the fireplace she had come from and shouted just when her father had asked her what name she was taking on "Watanukie!" This would not only seal what her name would be but would take her to the house of her muggle grandparents before the house could attack her. Her father had long since forbidden anyone from her mother's side to set one foot inside the house. Hoshi was now one of them. She didn't regret this. She was free now.
