Izzy had been touring with the quidditch team for a few years now, going around the world and it had been an amazing experience. She didn’t think that she would quit for another few years. It was really much too enjoyable for the former Ravenclaw, but it also depended where her life took her. For now at least, she was happy with how her life had turned out. Yes, she was still quite young and had many years of her future still, but she was content with what she had. She knew that she didn’t need any more. Especially as she had Liv too, she thought with a fond smile. Liv would always be there for her and vice versa. Although she hadn’t seen the girl in a couple of months now, Izzy still felt the same every time she met up with her. Her feelings intensified, slowly, as time passed. She had realised this when she was away playing some important game of Quidditch professionally. The longer she spent away from her girlfriend, the more she appreciated the moments they shared whenever they were together. And Izzy never wanted that to end, the exhilarating feeling she got when they talked, or went out, or - yes, even then - when they fought. But they hardly did. Because they both knew that every moment was precious, it was special. It needed to end on a good note. Particularly with Isabelle’s tight schedule. She wasn’t home that often, so when she was, she had to make the most of it.

Which was precisely why she had decided, on her way back home from her latest adventure, to ask Liv if she wanted to share the space Izzy had, with her. She didn’t need some alone time from Olivia, that she knew perfectly well. If she did, she would never have thought this through. Izzy had always been one for organisation and well thought-out plans. She had never been more decisive about something this big in her entire life. The former Prefect always took her sweet time with decisions as significant as these before she actually put them into practice. This however was something she really desired and she was convinced Liv felt the same. Or, that was what she hoped deep down. She reached for the keys in her bag and quickly slipped inside her flat when she opened the door, breathing a sigh of relief when she had closed the door behind her. Now, she could finally relax. Until her girlfriend got here. She’d sent her an owl letting her know when she would be back and they had agreed to meet at Izzy’s place. It was the more suitable choice, everything considered. She looked at her watch and her eyes widened. It was early evening, considering new zealand was ten hours ahead of France. She mentally facepalmed, she had momentarily forgotten about the time difference. Thank god she didn’t have to take a plane anymore, now that she’d known how to apparate since her sixth year. Liv could be here any minute. So, within the next hour, the brunette managed to unpack, shower and make some food, making sure there was some extra in case the other girl hadn’t had the chance to cook dinner yet.

Olivia's life had taken many twists and turns after she graduated Hogwarts, she found herself in a position she had never expected, she was running the charity she had volunteered at as a student. The charity was small and what they did was so big, the combination led to long hours, little sleep and even less time for her girlfriend. The only saving grace was Izzy had just as little time to spend with her that the former Ravenclaw's neglect hadn't been as noticeable. Finally, Olivia had managed to find some time to herself and would be spending the evening at her girlfriends apartment in Paris. The former head girl rubbed the sleep from her eyes and apparated to an alley around the corner from Izzy's apartment.

Despite not having jet lag it was still a little jarring for it suddenly be early evening having been the morning for Olivia mere seconds ago. Living in separate timezones was something Olivia hadn't got used to and something she didn't particularly want to get used to. The blonde emerged from the alley and made her way to the building where Izzy lived, her heels clicking on the pavement as she went. Olivia knew Izzy would leave the door unlocked as she was expecting her so she let herself in and dropped her bag by the door. She spotted Izzy in the kitchen and made her way over to her and without a word she grabbed the girl and planted a kiss on her lips. "We can not spend that much time apart again,"
