Rory was excited to deliver the next rose on her list, and she bounded up the stairs towards the Ravenclaw Tower at a pace that soon had her thighs protesting. But how often would she get to do something like this? A Cheshire grin was already spreading its way across her face, and it only spread wider as she saw the very person she was looking for approaching her down the corridor. Rory had never really spoken much to Harley's little sister, but she weirdly felt like Zoe, and all of Rose's little sisters, were all kind of her own sisters, as well as Sophia. She'd never tell anyone that, of course, but it gave her a sense of protection over the girl ... and a sense of wanting to tease her mercilessly. She should try to hold herself back, Rory thought. Try. "Zoe," Rory called as she came closer to the younger girl, drawing the name out in a way that heralded ulterior motives. "Hi. How are you. Who's your friend?" Maybe one of them would know this other Ravenclaw kid she had to deliver to.

Although she had always enjoyed the energy and excitement, and the fun of sending silly messages to her friends, Zoe felt like she had never quite fully understood Valentines Day until now. It was so nice, having someone special and having a whole day dedicated to that specialness. She and Stella had spent pretty much the entire day together, and it only seemed to get more magical. They were heading out of the common room to go enjoy the sun for a bit, when Zoe heard a voice she somewhat recognised calling her name. Looking up, Zoe smiled in recognition. "Oh, hi Rory!" She said happily, leading Stella over to her sister's friend excitedly. Harley had been preoccupied lately, and it worried Zoe a bit, but her big sister didn't like to talk about serious stuff much. Part of her wondered if Rory knew what was wrong with Harley, but the cheekiness of her tone made that unlikely. "I'm good! This is my girlfriend, Stella!" Zoe said happily, still brimming with excitement every time she got to introduce Stella as such. "Stella, this is Rory, she's one of Harley's friends. What's up, Rory?" Zoe couldn't help a glance at Rory's roses, wondering if any of them were for her.

Stella had never really seen the point of Valentine's Day, until now. Now she had a girlfriend, now she could devote the whole day to celebrating what they had together - only now did she understand why people were so obsessed with romance. Today, with Zoe, felt like they were glowing, a precious light for all the world to see. There was one dark patch on her enjoyment, one small worry that she refused to think about lest it ruin anything, but which was present in the back of her mind as a stranger approached them with a basket of roses. She had sent Zoe a red rose, and Zoe had sent her a pink one. She wasn't going to bring it up unless Zoe did, but it did make her a little nervous. Was there really a mismatch in their views of their relationship, or had she misunderstood? Certainly today Zoe did seem as happy as she was. "Hi, Rory," she said, polite and curious, "pleased to meet you."
