Dannii walked onto the quidditch pitch with her broom in one hand and her beaters bat in the other. A trunk with the quaffle, bludgers, and snitch followed behind her. The trunk landed on the ground with a thump and looked around. Hopefully Sam, and anyone else trying out would get here soon. Dannii sat down on her new Purple Streak, which was hovering a few feet off the ground, and looked around the pitch. It was a perfect day for quidditch. Dannii wondered how many people that were on the team last year would be trying out. Most of them were in their 7th years now and might want to focus on their NEWTs. Yeah right. Who would choose homework over quidditch? Dannii told herself.
OOCOut of Character:
Just post arriving and saying what position you would like your character to try out for. Further instructions will be given later. :) Post size doesn't matter at all. 2nd years plus only, sorry first years.

It was another year back at Hogwarts, but for some reason, to Riley it felt like this one was going to be a whole lot harder. The Hufflepuff had somehow managed to scrape good enough grades to pass her sixth year, but now there was the added pressure of graduating, and the fact that, well, she wasn't doing so well in her classes. One thing the seventeen year old could always count on though, was Quidditch. It was something she was good at, and she worked her butt off to get as good as she was and now that it was her last year she was determined to lead Hufflepuff to victory. That morning the blonde had sprung out of bed and pulled on a pair of shorts and her 'Puff sweatshirt, and as always, her golden snitch bracelet. Riley had hardly noticed it was only seven am as she pulled her blonde hair into a messy ponytail and grabbed her trusty Sienna Storm. Trying not to wake the other girls in her dorm, the seventh year made her way down to the Quidditch Pitch, her favourite place of all. And despite being an hour or so early, she made use of her time and got in a last minute practice, the young woman was hoping to bag the position of Seeker for her last year at Hogwarts.

Once she spotted her fellow 'Puff Dannii arriving on the pitch, Riley swooped down, her sneaker clad feet lightly touching the ground as she hovered just above it, before dismounting her broom and laying it down next to her duffle bag. "Hey Dannii, ready to kick some butt this year?" she asked with a small laugh towards the new co-captain. Riley had hoped so furiously that she would get the part, but it seemed the fates had decided against that, and there was no point in being grumpy about it. Being back at school was a welcome change from all of the drama of helping out at the Muggle Market with her mother and her twin sister, of which nobody knew she even had, and she had secured herself an internship at the Daily Prophet. Riley was hoping to keep her options open in case she didn't get accepted to a Professional Quidditch team after graduating. "I'll be trying out for seeker" Riley informed Dannii "As usual" she added with a smile, it seemed like routine now that she had been on the team since she transferred from Beauxbatons in her third year. The seventeen year old pulled her loose pony tail a little tighter with the elastic band and waited for the rest of the hopefuls to arrive, including Sam, not that she would admit to being eager to see him.

Maybe something had clicked in Sam's mind, subconsciously in his sleep, a small nagging telling him to get his butt out of bed because it was not that long after his alarm- that he had so ignorantly shut off - that Sam's eyes shot open. "Sh*t" He muttered groggily, remembering so clearly now why he had set his alarm so early that morning. It was the morning of the Quidditch try-outs and they had been going on for ten minutes yet he was still lying in his bed, in his dormitory. His face was still reminiscent with sleep as he hastily got dressed, picking up folded clothes from his unpacked bags and throwing them on. Before he left his dorm, he hurriedly grabbed his Emerald Streak which leaned purposefully against the doorframe.

He wanted to kick himself for being late to his own Quidditch Try-outs, it was so unlike him, he was never late for anything Quidditch related. Ever. Taking advantage of the length of his legs, Sam strode down the scenic Hogwarts grounds, the familiar path leading to the Quidditch Pitch. A path he had walked just the day before. Although it was his NEWT year, he couldn't help but practice harder than ever. If he wanted to stand a chance of getting a position on a professional sqaud he really had to put Quidditch in front of the academics, even if it was the opposite of what the professors preached. Arriving now, on the pitch Sam spotted only two girls. Which was a relief, until he realised who one of them was. Riley. His stomach twisted and contorted with guilt, he should have mentally prepared himself for this day. Of course she would be at the try-outs, why wouldn't she be? Shortening his strides, Sam's eyes awkwardly trailed along the grass, watching his feet as they slowly covered the stretch of distance between himself and the two girls.

There was not much else for Sam to do but look up now. Although there was still a bit of a distance between them, he didn't want to make it obvious that he was trying to avoid Riley's gaze. So instead, he shouted over to Dannii, as casually as possible, "Sorry I'm late!" He hurried his pace into a jog that covered the patch of grass separating them. He looked at Dannii with a geniuinely apologetic glance and then, so forcefully, looked at Riley. "Hi.." He said. 'Hi' of course was not the thing to say to an ex-girlfriend but he didn't want to make a scene. Leaning quite hard on his Emerald Streak, Sam glanced between the two Hufflepuffs. "Great day for flying eh?" He didn't really think a situation could have gotten more awkward, until he mentioned the weather. Why he walked himself in that position was beyond him, he just hoped some innocent second year would come along and break the awkward atmosphere that was beginning to grow between the three Hufflepuffs.

It was lucky for Jenn that she had Riley Alexandra as a roommate because the girl had woken her up as she exited the dorm, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to get ready quickly by tying her hair back that she had washed the night before and get on her quidditch robes that she had from the previous year. She was going to try out for chaser again and she knew that she would make it. On her confidence alone she had to, it was her last year and she needed this if she didn't have the title as captain like she had wished she'd gotten over Dannii Merrythought. But she assumed that maybe she didn't get it because she had rubbed Patricia the wrong way... Not that it really mattered. She had her best friend, Sam, as a captain and although she knew he would choose who was best for the team he had seen her play the previous year and he knew her talent with flying.

Jenna hopped onto her broom and flew quickly down, ignoring the rule that you were not allowed to fly in the castle just so she could make her way to the tryouts because she didn't want to be late. Zooming through the air as fast as she could, her blue eyes narrowed on the target of the small group that she could see in the Quidditch Pitch as she flew overhead. And to make her entrance a little bit more special she did loop-de-loops before lowering down to the ground and jumping off of her broom and holding it in one hand smoothly. "Hey. I'll be trying out for Chaser." She smiled brightly, her pale skin lighting up as she did so. It was the first time in a while that she didn't have thick black make up on just because she hadn't bothered to put it on this morning so she wouldn't be late for the tryout and she was sure that it would make more of an impact that she was going au naturel because it was something that the Hufflepuff rarely did.

Dymetris Kozlov, had been waiting morning and night for his present to arrive. After a few days he almost lost hope waiting, till he saw his streak come flying to him by owl. And that's where he was waiting at the owerly for his broom to arrive, the owl name Harper, drop the package right in front of Dymetris. "Its about time!" he said in a total grump, knowing today was qudditch tryouts and all he had was the house broom to bring him down.
Thankfully as he rush the numerous stairs, and being daring by the second level, Dymetris flew out the window, with his broom already mounted beneath him. Could you tell how eager the boy was? Almost eager, that he dodge just a few meters down avoiding the branches of some trees crossing his path. In a bit of a rush, he made it early for tryouts, flying over head of them. He drop down a few feet, till he was touching the gravel grounds beneath him. "Ahllo! Names be Dymetris and I am going for seeker again!" he announced, enthusiastically full of loads of energy.

As Libby had chosen to return to Hogwarts for her final year, and dispite leaving her family back in France, she wanted to graduate. Quidditch had been something that she'd always loved, learning it when she was just a small child. Every year she'd tryed-out for the team, but had only ever made it as an alternative. It was her last year, so why not give it another go? Libby picked up her broom and left the Hufflepuff common room. She'd had to postpone flying last year due to her pregnancy, but now that was fine she was able to fly again. Her hair was tied back with a small red ribbon, as she made her way to the Qudditch grounds.

"Hey" she smiled as she recognised her fellow classmates, and nodded at the younger student whom she couldn't quite recognise. "I'd like to try-out for keeper please" she asked. It had been her strongest position, although up until now it had always been Violet's place. The last few months at school she had been practising with the help of Rician, and dispite her leave, she was still good at it, and loved the sensation of the wind through her hair and clothes. Libby was particularly cheery today, and she knew that the Hufflepuff's would excel even more this year.

Another year began, meaning another year of fun-filled with Quidditch. Hamza was pretty
excited to try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team again. He was so excited that he was
awake pretty much all last night, just thinking about when the co-captain will be on the
field, waiting for students to come and try out for the team. Hamza had been waiting for
this for a while now, and now, it was time for him to get up and head to the Quidditch field,
where he will be trying out for the team. Getting out of bed, he quickly changed his clothes,
put his shoes on, and grabbed his broom, a broom which his father had sent him over break,
since Hamza decided to spend time away from his family this time around with his cousins
in Bulgaria. 'Time to head out and try my best to obtain myself a spot on the team',
thought Hamza to himself. He was so excited that he had forgotten that he was awake
an hour early. Getting on his broom, he kept thinking positive in his mind that he would
defiantly make it on the team this year. He was wanting to keep his parents happy, as
well as his friends. He promised his little sister Iman that he would be on the team next
year again, so he was out to keep his promise, and to keep a lot of people happy.

Getting to the field, he saw a few students there already, standing near the captain.
Hamza was surprised that there were students there already. He thought he would be
the first one on the field seeing as he got up pretty early, but it matter's not, he was going
to try his best to get a spot on the team and that was it. Reaching the small group in
a pretty fast pace, Hamza gave a warm smile to everyone that was standing there, some
were pretty familiar faces whom had tried out for the team last year. 'Good to see
some familiar faces back again.'
Thought Hamza to himself. Hamza stepped a few feet
forward towards the co-captain, and said, "My name is Hamza and I am here to try
out for the Chaser position again."
Hamza wanted to get a spot on the team so bad
that he was ready to do pretty much anything to gain a spot on the team, except for cheating.

Raffaelo was born and raised in the muggle world, but you wouln't be able to tell that based on his obsession with Quidditch. Ever since the first time he heard of the popular wizard sport, the enthusiastic young Raffaelo couln't think of a better way to spend his time. He spent countless hours learning to fly in his first year, and by the time second year hit, he was good enough for a spot on the Hufflepuff team. Flying came as natural to Raffaelo as walking, perhaps even more so. The boy had taken some pretty nasty falls in his years, but even when faced with a speeding Bludger he managed to always stay on his broom.

The feeling he got from flying was almost as good as the one he got when he spent time with Sui Chin. Flying was the ultimate freedom for Raffaelo, something that he could always do to clear his mind, kill time, or add some excitement to his day. While Raffaelo could always find time to fly by himself, it was always nicer when friends were involved, and it just so happened that the combination of friends, Quidditch, and a certain something extra was what had him heading to the empty pitch that night. As he walked across the lawn, he saw familiar and some unfamiliar faces. "Good day Everyone!" he said excited of what was going to happen for the day. He stood there checking his attire and all.

Dannii waved to Riley as she entered the pitch. Riley was the girl Dannii had always expected to be made co-captain. "Hi, you bet I am" Dannii replied. Dannii nodded when Riley said she would be trying-out for seeker. Dannii had expected nothing less. Riley had been seeker for as long as Dannii could remember. Soon enough her fellow co-captain and beater, Sam Prince, joined the two girls on the pitch. Almost at once things screamed awkward. What the hell happened between them? Dannii wondered. Obviously they had broken up over the break, but Dannii just didn't know how. She had never made any effort to get involved in other peoples business. "Uh yeah... We're lucky to have the pitch booked today" Dannii added on after Sam mentioned the weather. It was becoming increasingly uncomfortable between the three Hufflepuffs when thank-fully Jennifer came zooming in quickly followed by some other students. Dannii quickly took notes on everyone who had come to tryout and what position they hoped to get. Once a few minutes had passed and no one else had shown up Dannii cleared her throat and spoke up for the first time since Sam had arrived. "Okay everyone, first off thank-you for coming back to tryout this year. We would like everyone to give demonstration of the skills they have for the position they are trying out for" Dannii said trying to be loud enough for everyone to hear.
OOCOut of Character:
Sorry this took so long.
Chasers RP shooting against the (pretend) keeper. Beaters RP hitting a few bludgers. Seekers Rp trying to catch the snitch, and keepers trying to save a few goal attempts from the (pretend) chasers.

Anyone who would still like to try out but hasn't rped showing up yet just remember to tell us your name and preferred position before your try out.

The Quidditch pitch at sunset was beautiful. Beautiful and startling. In the stands, alone figure was sitting in the very top row, fingers tracing over the metallic letters engraved into his broomstick. Nimbus 2000. Raffaelo's father promised him a new firebolt if he once again joined the team. It had been bought in hopes of restoring some sign of life into his eyes. Raffaelo stared at it as if he'd never seen the markings before; as if this was the last time he'd ever see them. It had been. .oh. .months, months since he'd come down here. On the other hand, he'd go insane if he was never allowed to fly again! He then heard Dannii giving the signal for them to begin their try-outs. During his second year Raffaelo was an alternative seeker, but now seems to be different. He wasn't sure if he want to take another shot for it, after all he heard that two other students would try-out for seeker. Still he wanter to give it a try and if he failed he would try for a new position as a chaser. He was fast and swift, most especially Raffaelo was ready to start. Aware that, he didn't somehow introduced himself to everyone, after all they might not remember him anymore. The fact that he grew taller and taller everyday. "Raffaelo Menzure, trying out for seeker. . . if not maybe chaser" he said to Dannii Merrythought with a deep breath. Clutching the broom in his hands, he took a deep breath, mounted his broom, and kicked off the wall. Within seconds he was feeling better than he had been.

The wind played easily here, sending his hair flying in all directions, keeping the fabric of his shirt rippling. It had always been in the air that Raffaelo felt the most at home, the safest, despite the possibility of falling. The feeling of having nothing, nothing to cage him - no bars, no doors, no walls - was the most glorious in the world. He laughed, a child's laugh, and plummeted down towards the grass in a steep dive, pulling up and soaring back towards the clouds, and then diving down again, the wind pulling at him from all directions. Quidditch. Flying. He paused right before diving down again."Quidditch," he said to himself. Then he laughed again, just because it had been weeks since he"d even said the word. "Qui-i-ditch. Qui-ditch. Quid-itch." Alright, maybe he was acting a tad crazy. It was now time to get serious. Positioning himself as he was in the air controlling the Quaffle. He then noticed that he was the only one who seems to be up in the air. Raffaelo then decided to practice for a while as the other players were down in the grass. Starting with being a chaser, he held the Quaffle as he began to shoot it into some hoops ungarded.

Riley allowed the snitch a three second advantage as she mounted her Sienna Storm and kicked up off the ground. She immediately arrived in the centre of the pitch, searching for the prized snitch she hovered and allowed her eyes to adjust. She flew around the pitch in a large circle, her eyes darting backwards and forwards. When she was on the South end of the pitch, she saw it fluttering over by the North goal hoops, so immediately she leaned forward against her broom and flew as fast as she could towards the gold ball. As soon as she reached her hand out to grab it, the snitch proved it had a mind of its own and flew lurched forward, Riley pulled her broom upwards, avoiding crashing right into the nearby hoop. The snitch was now out of sight and Riley took a minute to compose herself, closing her eyes for just a second before opening them, ready and alert.

It was almost as though she could hear the wings of the snitch flapping as she zoned in on it, a wee way in the distance. She sped up and flew straight towards it, getting that snitch was all she was thinking about. As she came closer to it she watched as it noticed her presence, she couldn't let it get away now. Reaching out her hand the snitch flew behind her and flapped its wings behind her shoulder. She turned her broom gracefully and stared right at the snitch before grabbing it into her small palm. "Gotcha you little mynx!" she said, the snitch had been too close to speed away from her that time. Regaining her breath Riley slowly flew down to the ground and landed softly, placing her Sienna Storm at her feet. "Here you go" she said smiling, and reluctantly handing the snitch over to Dannii. It wasn't the first snitch she had caught and she certainly hoped it wouldn't be the last. She was hoping she would get the part of seeker again, perhaps even on a professional team someday. All she really wanted was to kick some butt and get more points for Hufflepuff, who knew, perhaps it could be their year to shine on the house points board?

Hearing the co-captain say that all of the students that were trying out to be on the quidditch team,
Hamza knew that he had a lot of competition out here. He knew he would have to give it his best and
to beat out the competition, he had to be the best. He knew that if he tried enough, he would get on
the team no matter what. All he had to do was try his hardest and his best, and showing his efforts
would pay off. His father always told him that no hard work goes un-noticed, so he knew that his hard
work would pay off in the end. Having his hopes very high, he walked over to his broom and instantly
said, "Up!" With confidence, the broom flew right into his hands. He got onto the broom and kicked off
very fast up into the air, to where he was at a pretty good height to where he could see both sides of
the field, noticing the goal and keeping his eyes very sharply on the goal he was to hit towards.
Crouching down a little on his broom, keeping his eyes sharp on his target, Hamza bolted off with his
broom very fast. Though, going fast, he was a little fearful of how fast he was going and he just hoped
that he wouldn't screw up in making any goals. Running parallel to one of his team mates, Hamza looked
over to his team mate and nodded. He did a zig-zag formation in order to dodge some of the other individuals
who were beaters and trying to dodge the bludger as well. One of the other team's member almost hit Hamza,
but he barely passed through in order to dodge successfully. He kicked off fast again in order to catch up to
his team member who instantly passed the quaffle to him and seeing the opposite team member coming in for
a shot at Hamza to steal the quaffle, Hamza instantly flew downwards towards the ground, did a quick spin
twist to where he didn't hit the ground, but he started to fly forward near the ground. He looked back to see
two opposite team member's chasing him for the quaffle.

Hamza knew that he didn't have long before they would be able to catch up to him and he noticed one of the
opposite team member getting close to him and so, he kicked off upwards to where the goal was not very far
away. Hamza smirked at the keeper who was guarding the goal. Instead of taking a clean shot at the goal,
Hamza tricked the keeper in order to thinking that Hamza would shoot towards the goal from the bottom, but
Hamza instantly flew past the keeper and took a shot at the goal from above and successfully making a goal.
Hamza was glad to have made this goal because he had to try very hard to make this goal. He knew that there
are going to be many other older individuals on the opposite team who are well more experienced than he is, but
Hamza knew all he could do was try his best. He knew that he tried hard and would soon get the results.

Dymetris smile at the new team captains, hia right hand kept a tight grip at hia new streak.
Parents aren't going to like me playing this sport, uncle will be okay but not Maleena and Askena.
He could picture both his mothers already scowling Dymetris for trying out something as dangrous as qudditch. Yet it wasn't going to stop hin no less. he like qudditch, correction he love the sprot. He follow the leauge up north, went too a game with his uncle a couple years back. Technicaly it had been a sneak, he got an earfull from both veela woman. They were close to showing their firey birds self.

Its no sweat they wont mind it, I hope. He kept thinking and couching himself to chill out if he wanted to get through try out.
Besides his parents ringing the inside of his ears, he was also dealing with that usual sickness swirling around his stomach whenever he
was trying out for qudditch. The normal nervous feeling, it felt like last year all over again. Sort, he felt confidence, it ttypical to feel a nerpuse. Everyone would be. After seeing his housemate try out, he step up for the bat and gave it his all. He mounted his broom and did a quick dash around the pitch, till he saw them let go the snitch.

At first the snitch had almost disappeared twice in mid-air. How the heck that happen? He had'nt the slightest idea. The third time he caught site of the snitch again, he saw it go around his captain, and than behind one of the beater. He was weaving through an invisble force in the sky, cause the little golden snitch wasn't playing easy for the boy. A few time he cuss, almost giving up. Till he heard the zipping besides him, and in almost imagive of a race. Dymetris look as if he was racing the golden snitch, till he reach out and grab it, the swings spreading between his coiled fingers. "Finally!" he shouted after all that trouble of trying to fetch the little ball.

Quidditch was Jennifer's true talent. She had this in the bag so she felt pretty confident and considering there were only three people trying out for the position it helped her. So she mounted her broom and kicked off effortlessly, zooming quickly through the air with her blonde hair the only proof that she was still in the air because it skirted quickly but left a streak of blonde behind. Once she had arrived at her position, she halted quickly the force tumbling her stomach but she felt excited instead of nauseous like some might. Once the game had begun she flew quickly towards the Quaffle, fighting the other chasers from the opposing team for it and when she had grabbed it, like a mother holding her baby she held it tight to her chest and flew towards the goal posts of the team she was playing against. Just as she had been able to throw the quaffle towards the goal a bludger flew towards her and to not be bashed by it, which was always exceedingly painful, she practiced the move called the 'Sloth Grip Roll' in which she moved around her broom to not be hit by the magical item. As Jenn was spinning she utilized this and threw the quaffle towards the right goal post and as she landed back on top of her broom she saw that it had gotten in. A smirk danced on her lips before she let the other chaser get their chances.

When it was her turn once more, Jennifer had intercepted a pass between two chasers for the opposite team and hitched up her speed. Hoping that they would not catch her but she could feel them hot on her tail and as she was close enough to the hoops she turned around to face them quickly before throwing the quaffle behind her shoulder and getting it into the middle hoop despite the keeper trying to use the figure eight motion to guard every goal. "Thank you Tchamba Charmers," she muttered quietly under her breath as she went to return to the ground. This was when she looked at Dannii and Sam and said, "Well I think that is it, correct?" She grinned at her best friend, hoping that he would see that she was worthy of this position and not just as his best friend.
