Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y51 S1

Leena was unaware she was in the way, but reached for the Quaffle when it was thrown back out.

Mary Paige kept looking for the snitch.

Leena considered what type of victory celebration she should do if the ball went in the hoop. She wasn't sure but luckily for her she didn't need to decide right now, as she'd missed.

Susie had been chasing bludgers for what felt like hours, but she wasn't having any luck.

Juniper gulped as she got near the hoops again. She'd noticed the Captain, Susie, fly a tad too close to her and she was afraid of making a fool out of herself in front of the older girl. Throwing the Quaffle she hoped she could score again, to show Susie.

Alas the Quaffle never made it through the hoops.

Mary Paige didn't see the snitch yet.

Susie lunged for a bludger, missing by inches.

Mary Paige kept a lookout for any bludgers headed her way as she waited for the snitch to appear.

Doyle stayed on his toes and managed to keep a good streak of blocking the hoops.

Leena had never considered herself to be a thief before, however perhaps it wouldn't have been a bad thing to practise her tackling skills too, especially if she was going to need to use them when they came up against the other team. The first year flew alongside Juniper, slowly at first, only to reach out and slap the ball from her arm in an instant, catching it for herself. "Sorry!" she did feel a little bad, but at least she knew she could be good at something.

2a

Doyle was a little surprised when he saw the younger chaser steal the quaffle but he got ready for her to come his way.

Juni had been a little zoned out when suddenly the Quaffle was gone... Oh. Glancing towards Leena she gave a shrug to the first year as she apologised and then just began flying alongside her, sort of glad the pressure of scoring was off her shoulders right now.

Juniper thought that stealing the Quaffle would be really rude, especially since Leena had just stolen it from her to herself. However she saw the perfect opening as she flew alongside the first year and getting closer she slapped the ball out from under the girls arm and snagged it for herself. "I'm sorry..." Juni said to the other Chaser before flying towards the hoops, her face pale from how bad she felt about stealing. Did this make her a bad person? It probably did...

rule 2a I believe.

Leena had been lining up a shot just as Juniper stole the Quaffle back from her. She didn't know why it surprised her but maybe she shouldnt have hesitated.

Juniper felt a little bad and she was a little hesitant whether she deserved this attempt at scoring or not. She'd stolen the Quaffle, but it had been stolen from her before so it meant that they were even... Right? There was no time to hesitate as she neared the hoops, it was now or never. Throwing the Quaffle straight at one of the hoops the third year watched it sail cleanly through. Phew.

Leena was very glad Juniper had managed to score after their thievery, but just wished she could too. She looked around the pitch for the other Chaser, not wanting to hog the ball.

Doyle managed to lose track of the quaffle as the chasers swapped it back and forth and he was a little too slow as Juniper came at him and got it past him. He tossed back the quaffle and got into position once again.
