Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y49/S1

But there were clearly no bludgers anywhere, because Susie couldn't find one either.

marley managed to hit a bludger, aiming it towards one of the seekers, but it went off course and hit one of the beaters instead @Susie Lagowski

Susie saw the bludger coming and readied herself to whack it back at Marley, but it curved at the last second and hit her straight in the arm. She cried out, gripping her broom to stop herself falling as the pitch swayed underneath her. Did she break something? Heat radiated from her wrist all the way up to her shoulder. Tears in her eyes, she flew on, putting as much distance between herself and Marley as possible.

Spotting a bludger, Susie swung with her left arm. She didn't expect to even hit it, let alone send it flying into @Oswald Brambleheart. Maybe she should always play like this. Uuugh, it hurt so bad. "Sorry!"

Doyle caught the quaffle again and was feeling quite pleased with himself before throwing it back.

Oz went to catch the quaffle, but almost caught the bludger first. Ouch. He winced, but gave a shaky wave to Susie as though to say no harm done. Then he proceeded to catch the quaffle.

Doyle kept a close eye on the quaffle.

This kid was good, Oz thought charitably as his shot was blocked. It helped that he was not good, but decided he'd think positively.

Whaaaat? Oswald wasn't hurt? Well.... Susie supposed that was a good thing. She'd have to swing a bit harder next time, though.

Jonah winced when he saw Oz-senpai and the bludger thing… yeah, no. He caught the quaffle this time to try and score again

Jonah sighed in relief as he got the quaffle into the hoops
