Hufflepuff,Practice​

Marley had been a co-captain of the Hufflepuff team for a year now, and so far she had been enjoying it. She liked the responsibility, and she pretty much enjoyed Quidditch as well. The weather for today was at least decent, it was cloudy with a bit of light wind, but she knew that wasn't really going to stop the practice today. Marley had been a little disappointed with how everything went last year, but she was positive that they could turn it around this year. The Hufflepuff had arrived on the pitch a little earlier to set some stuff up for the team. She made sure to grab some extra brooms for those who needed them as well as some water if anyone needed anything while they were practising.

Marley stood on the pitch, broom in hand, as her teammates slowly started to pile onto the pitch, a grin on her face. She had a good feeling about this year's Quidditch. Once everyone had arrived, she clapped her hands together and grinned happily at everyone. "Hey, everyone! Welcome back to returning players and a massive welcome to the new players on the team! If you didn't know, I'm Marley, one of the co-captains on the team, and this is Bailey, the other co-captain!" Marley says enthusiastically as she introduces and gestures to both herself and Bailey. "We'll get straight into practice! Chasers, do your best trying to score, make sure you're passing as well! Beaters, try your best to aim, but also make sure to do some defending too! And of course, Keepers, try to guard those hoops as best as you can, and seekers, try your best to catch that snitch," Marley says with a grin. "Alright, let's get straight to it! Also don't forget to have some fun!" Marley says as she claps her hands together once again, before blowing the whistle to indicate that practice had started, before she was then up in the air, once everyone else was.

[Jonah Edogawa]

As soon as he was allowed, Jonah jumped on to his broom and swiped the quaffle to make a beeline for the hoops

 

[Bailey Walden-Cade]

Bailey got right to it once practice and set off looking for the snitch.

Marley flew into the air, ready to hit a bludger

 

[Bailey Walden-Cade]

Bailey didn't catch the snitch.

 

[Jonah Edogawa]

Jonah threw the quaffle and frowned when he missed

 

[Nox Walden-Cade]

Nox couldn't believe he'd actually made the team, he'd assumed that Bailey wouldn't have wanted to give him a spot because it would have looked like favouritism, but there he was at practice. He got onto his broom and started looking for bludgers.

 

[Sofi Ayre]

Sofi kicked off the ground and went in search of the snitch.

Marley managed to hit a bludger, aiming it towards @Bailey Walden-Cade

[Doyle Mooney]

Doyle was a little surprised he made the team and he was quite nervous for his first practice. But he took to the air and found his place in front of the hoops.

So far Nox wasn't having much luck.

Doyle was starting to realize a keepers job involved hovering a lot.

 

[Sofi Ayre]

Sofi thought she might have seen the snitch and headed over to investigate

Bailey felt the sting of the bludger as it hit her in the ribs but she carried on searching.

Sofi didn't end up finding a snitch

 

[Jonah Edogawa]

Jonah grabbed the quaffle again and sped around the Pitch

Sofi moved out of the way of the chasers

 

[Susie Lagowski]

Susie wasted no time getting up in the air and searching for a bludger. Spotting one, she swung hard at Sofi. It soared right past her and hit @Jonah Edogawa instead. Susie cringed. Oops. Still, a hit was a hit.

Marley did not hit a bludger

 

[Jonah Edogawa]

Jonah had completely missed seeing the bludger headed his way and he knew that if his mother were here, he’d be yelled at to hell and back. Even so, with tears threatening to fall after being hit at the side, he managed to throw the quaffle in to score.

 

[Sofi Ayre]

Sofi continued to search for the snitch.

 

[Bailey Walden-Cade]

Bailey kept looking.

 

[Nox Walden-Cade]

Nox didn't hit anything.

Sofi saw a bird and thought how lovely it was to be at their level in the sky.

When Jonah saw no other chasers nearby, he swooped in to grab the quaffle again for a lap
