Jeremiah Walked quietly through the rows of bookshelves that surrounded him. The young Gryffindor was looking for a book that his friend had suggested to him some time ago, but it had taken him up until now to actually try and find it, since it wasn't really high on his list of things to do. With a small sigh, Miah looked around and soon discovered that the library was very, very full. He didn't think that it would have so many books, but it did. This library might even rival his papa's, though it was doubtful. With a small sigh, Jeremiah got on his toes and began to look higher up on the shelves, he was in the right section, so he was sure that the book would be here. Where else would Ryder spot a magical book? He was a muggle-born, he wasn't really surrounded by magical books all day, so it had to be in this library. The unfortunate thing was that the Hufflepuff was quite taller than the Gryffindor, therefore he was far better at spotting books on higher shelves than Jeremiah. Miah looked around him and smiled slightly as a plan formulated in his brain. This probably wouldn't be his brightest idea, but it wasn't like he was a Ravenclaw. Miah looked around to make sure that the librarian was no-where in sight. He was sure that she was probably a lovely woman, when away from her books. As far as he knew, she probably wouldn't like this.

Miah pulled out a stack of books and stacked them on top of each other and began climbing the books so he could reach the book. He soon realised that leaving the common room without his wand was probably a mistake, but he was confident that he wouldn't break anything. Getting his pale hand around the books binder, Miah pulled on the book and sighed when it eventually slide away from the other book. Unfortunately, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and so, the force that Jeremiah used to release the book, was also the force that caused Miah to make a smaller book shift and make the tower come crashing down. Letting out an unmanly 'Eeeeep', Jeremiah soon found himself amongst a pile of books, but he still had his target book in his hands. Success! The Gryffindor looked around to see if the librarian was nearby, he'd heard someone exclaim, but couldn't locate them, so he simply ignored it and began picking up the books.

Taylor was annoyed. She was in the castle walls on a nice day attempting to do an assignment when she could be out doing Quidditch practice. Flying around, bat in hand taking out all her frustrations on a bludger. The wind rushing through her hair and whipping against her back and face. She sighed in pure bliss as the memory of the Quidditch game, though she had been pained by hitting Deme with a Bludger, but it had all worked out. In the end the Lions had won against the Ravenclaws. Even though she was still reeling from this, she could not get out of doing this assignment. And she was missing out on all the practice because she had to do this damned assignment. She rolled her eyes and walked up to the librarian as she rounded on her and placed her assignment on the desk for the woman to peruse as she curtly pointed out the books she would need and where they were. Taylor asked for her to write them down so that she had a point of reference. She often got lost when in libraries. She wasn't very good with directions, she wasn't a Hufflepuff. Weren't they good at finding things? All the Hufflepuff's she knew were anyway. Conan was always able to find her books when she had lost them. So that would work for all of them right?

As the Librarian added a few extra books to the list, for "extra reading" Taylor rolled her eyes and proceeded into the dark reaches of the library, slowly her stack of books growing taller as she peered cautiously over them, watching her step so that she would not trip. She had never been the studying type but when your Potions Professor assigns you twelve inches on the many uses of wormwood, you hoped to it without hesitation. Atleast that was what she had been told many times by various older students. She shook her head and quietly cursed her head of house, prefects and the Quidditch Captain. She really wanted to be out there training. But it seemed as that it would not be the case. As she rounded a corner, she let out a rather large squeak as she saw a sight before her. Her friend Jeremiah was currently falling from where he had undoubtedly been attempting to scale the bookshelf. Was he crazy!? She promptly dumped her books on the table beside her and ran to see if he was okay. After ensuring that he was uninjured, atleast visibly, she began to verbate him. "Jeremiah Theodore Raven! What were you thinking! Did you lose your mind? What kind of an idiotic stunt was that? Climbing a bookshelf? Are you five years old!? How can you -" She shouted, advancing on him. Her hand shot out and grabbed a handful of his shirt. You will listen to me, Jeremiah Raven!" She snapped, undoubtedly reminding herself of her Uncle. "If you EVER do something like that again, I will kill you!" She told him, glaring at him furiously. How could he have been so stupid as to put himself in danger. What was he thinking. "Where on Earth is your wand? Why didn't you use it?" She asked at a second thought. He was reminding her of all the stupid things Lewis used to do. He was lucky he hadn't been seriously injured.

Jeremiah located the sound of the exclamation when the source came running up to him. It was Taylor Blare, a rather irritating, controlling girl that Jeremiah found to be a bit of a nuisance. They were in the same year and house, however, so he was stuck with her until the end of their schooling lives. Something that annoyed the young Gryffindor was the fact that he was full named, by a girl that wasn't even related to him in any way. What gave her the right to even use his last name? Nothing. He frowned. How did she even know his second name? It wasn't usually common knowledge, unless he had mentioned it at some point when they'd run into each other, the times when he couldn't turn corners fast enough or was distracted for whatever reason. "Taylor Blare, I think you're overreacting." He stated, pulling his robes from her grasp and straightening them up. If the slightly bigger girl was going to full name him, he'd do the exact same thing to her. "Also, it's obvious I'm not five, I highly doubt a five year old would stack a bunch of books in a staircase-like fashion in order to retrieve a book they'd never understand." Another thing that bothered him was the fact that she felt the need to grab his robes. It was quite unnecessary, because it wasn't like he was going to run off without cleaning up the mess he'd caused. It wasn't that much, but apparently it was enough to cause the fury of a nosey Gryffindor girl.

Jeremiah continued to look at Taylor as if she was insane. Never had he ever been treated like this in his life and he didn't like it. The Gryffindor wasn't sure what barbarian sort of family she came from, but his family was civilised and this wasn't how his siblings and himself were scolded, and his father certainly never threatened his life simply because he climbed books. "I highly doubt you would be able to actually kill me, especially since I just climbed books, it's not like I was terrorising people." Miah was getting really annoyed, because Taylor was annoying, it was simple as that. Her next question seemed totally unrelated to her earlier outburst, but he decided he might as well answer, just to spare himself her further fury. "My wand is beside my bed, in the drawer, if you must know, and since I can't apparate without a wand, I wasn't about to waste my time getting it when it was simpler to just get the book myself." Next time Ryder suggested a book, he could get it himself, because Miah was not returning to this library by himself again.
