Surely, Juno couldn't be the only person who didn't want to be in their house? Out of all the students who were sorted, she had to admit that there must be more than just her that wished they could be transferred to an alternative. Even if that wasn't possible, Juno still wanted to feel like she was included in a family that she felt most at home in, and she she'd gathered all her Slytherin robes and green uniforms pieces, and headed to the Student Lounge with them, arranging them out on a table. Perhaps it would be like some kind of Hogwarts mix and match. If there was another student somewhere that wanted to see what it felt like to be a Slytherin, they were more than welcome to wear Juno's uniform, and she hoped somewhere along the line, a Ravenclaw would do the same for her.

She hadn't exactly advertised this, after all she didn't want too many professors to know about it, but it would be fun to be able to wander around the castle in colours that represented how the first year felt, and she perched on the end of the table and waited to see if anyone would take note of the large number of robes, ties and jumpers that were laid out neatly on the table, excited to see who else was in the same boat as her.

While Apollo was having less and less trouble to get behind the idea that Gryffindor was the right house for him, it had taken him most of the first semester to see this, the boy couldn't say the same for his best friend. Her desire to have been placed into another house was growing every time they spoke to one another and Apollo did not really know what to do about it other than talk to Mitchell about it in the hope that he would have advice for Juno - unfortunately talking to the man didn't help much either. When she told him that she wanted to switch robes with people he laughed it off at first, thinking that she was talking nonsense, but upon entering the student lounge Apollo saw the robes, ties and jumpers laid out on the table. ''Are you sure this is such a good idea?'' the Gryffindor asked, having brought with him a bunch of robes and ties himself because he was still going to support his best friend regardless of what he thought of it.

Juno wasn't sure whether Apollo would come along today, he hadn't exactly seemed thrilled at the idea of it. Perhaps having a professor for a godfather had something to do with it. "No," she said truthfully, not looking up at the Gryffindor, although she glanced across with a small smile to see him laying out his thing too. She didn't know whether this was going to go down well, but she had to try. "But sometimes it's the simple things," she said, picking up one of his red ties and throwing it round her neck, "Sometimes just the way we dress can make us more comfortable," she added. She didn't understand why there was so much attention on houses anyway. It wasn't like it helped them to be broken up, and she hated the idea that so much of her time was spent fighting just to be in a home she wanted to be in, rather than on what she was actually in the school for.

Sydney didn't really buy into the house pride thing, and at first she hadn't been sure the sorting hat really knew what it was talking about. The whole process seemed like just arbitrary labels, but as the year had gone on, she'd still found Slytherin had suited her needs well enough. Arriving at the student lounge though, Sydney figured she could respect the minor rebellion that seemed to be going on anyway, stopping to inspect the uniforms spread out around the room. "The house stuff is all made up really, if you think about it," She said, looking up at the younger students nearby who she suspected might have something to do with it. "If you really want to rebel against the system you could just refuse to wear any uniform, it's all just a scheme to help corral us anyway."
