Killian wished he could just stay home all the time, but unfortunately he was still the captain of a ship, and every now and then he had to go on longer voyages. This last one had been a month, and thankfully it had been all smooth sailing so he was home two days early. His bag over his shoulder, he slipped into his home. He'd hurried back as soon as he'd docked- and filed the right paperwork, of course. It was early, about four in the morning, but that was alright. Killian moved to the bottom of the stairs, and not minding if he woke up the babysitter, he cupped his hands over his mouth. "Marley!" He bellowed, enjoying the way his voice echoed through the house. After that, he just dropped his bag and waited, knowing she'd be down momentarily.
