Yellow rose for @Aurora Chase

Leah knew she was crazy for signing up to deliver roses when she had so much on her plate. But she couldn't resist the urge to participate one last time. There would be time for sleep when she graduated, maybe. Speaking of sleep she had gotten off on the wrong foot this morning and overslept which meant skipping breakfast and valuable delivery time. Now the day was half over as she rushed into the great hall to get some deliveries done since she needed to eat too. First she headed to the Slytherin table with ever intention to make this quick. "Aurora Chase!" she announced loudly to be heard over the excited chatter around her. "I have a rose for you."

Aura looked up from her nachos as she heard someone shout her name and waved the girl over. "Hey, over here," she said, so the girl would know where to go. She had received a rose earlier in the day so she wondered if this one would be signed so she could rule out people who had sent them to her. She hoped so, she might have liked a bit of mystery, but still.

After shouting Leah scanned the Slytherin table hoping for a sign. Thankfully she got one as Aurora waved her over. She was relieved by how well that had actually worked for her. The great hall was crowded today so she had to work to get over to her before she could hand her the yellow rose and the note that went with it. "Hi!" she said brightly. "Well this is for you." she explained simply.

go get your man darling

Aura smiled at the older girl, not sure of her name as she handed her the yellow rose. It didn't even need to be signed for her to know who it was from and she cracked a half smile before laughing as she looked over to the Gryffindor table to see if Theo was there. "Thank you, I appreciate the work you've put in to run around looking for people, I hope it doesn't take you all day, or you'll be too tired for the dance. Are you going?"

Leah smiled as the girl took the rose and the note and seemed to be pleased by whatever was written. She was always curious to know what the notes said but she had just enough manners to keep from asking. But she was a little caught off guard when Aurora started to compliment her and she blushed. "Oh, its no trouble." she said, even if it was. It was trouble she had willingly signed up for. "I plan to!" she answered brightly when asked if she was going to the dance. "It's my last year, I'd hate to miss it. Tired or not."

Aura nodded, glad that she would get to enjoy one last dance. They didn't have things like this back in Scotland, so she was looking forward to it. "Well I hope you have a really good time, as it's your last one, I've heard it's going to be a lot of fun!" She'd never been to a Valentine's dance before, and the Yule ball had been her first school dance, so she had a lot of expectations and she hoped they were lived up to.
