Riley rushed down to the owlery, her robes fluttering behind her along with her blonde locks that seemed to be growing longer with each turn of semester. In her hands were a Peacock quill and a spare piece of parchment, the seventeen year old wanted to quickly write a letter to her twin sister before her next potions class. (which she hadn't yet completed the homework for) So quickly she set herself down and scrawled across the page in black ink, hoping Kalani would somehow manage to read her almost illegible linked writing that she had formed her words with in such a hurry. Riley could hardly believe that the first semester of her last year at Hogwarts was almost drawing to a close, and she had to admit that the thought of being out of school, whilst pleasing and relieving was a rather daunting one at that. She was still to decide whether writing for the Daily Prophet was the right thing to be getting into, or whether she should follow her dream and hope for a place as seeker on a professional Quidditch team. </SIZE><i></i>

Hey soul sister!
How have you been? Can you actually truly believe that it is our final year at school, it's too crazy. And I know I said I was going to try harder in classes and blah blah blah, but I may or may not be writing this whilst I should be doing a potions essay that is due next lesson (my a** belongs to the Potions Professor!) speaking of school and whatnot, I didn't get co-captain, but I'll get over it eventually. Dannii and Sam got it actually, but I am hoping to get the part of Seeker again and kick some Slytherin butt. But how is Beauxbatons? You haven't gotten sick of all the prissy French girls yet have you? Lord knows I did.

School is just so boring, I can hardly manage to stay awake in some of my lessons, and really the only exciting thing that happened was the Hallowe'en feast, I got ready with Jenn, and she helped with my makeup (which I definately needed because you know how sucky I am with that sort of thing) and I went as the corpse bride, wore that old furry cut off jacket thing that mom used to wear, remember the one? Well, you'll never guess, I won best costume! I could hardly believe it myself, but the feast itself was so much fun. It got me thinking, we should have a party or something, for when we graduate, y'know to congratulate ourselves on working so hard (well, I haven't really worked that hard) it would be a blast. (who says blast? I am so lame...)

Anyways, I better get onto that Potions essay, I don't want a detention!
Stay cool,
Riley

Tying a scarlet ribbon around the rolled up parchment, the seventh year kissed it for luck and handed it over to her speckled Owl, Tito with a quick smile and handed him some treats. "Take it Lani, at Beauxbatons" she said as she ran out the North tower, her half written essay clutched in her hand as her robes were sent flying in the wind once more as the Hufflepuff set off for her house common room, hoping that she could pull an essay out of her bum, in order to save it from getting another detention.

Riles,

I've been alright. Crazy busy though, you know how I do. God, it's so crazy. It's like only yesterday we held hands as we walked into Le Grande Salle together. I'm super proud of us, not to be a corny loser or anything. But shame on you, miss-I'm-going-to-get-better-on-my-NEWTs-than-you. Oh well, at least you're doing it, I've been so crazy with my Head Girl things that I haven't had a chance to start practicing for my patronus charm. I have a feeling it's going to kick my butt and I don't want to be embarrassed, I guess. I just can't think of something that stands out because most of the moments I've had have been pretty happy except for recently. As for the prissy French girls, I'm Head Girl now so they have to answer to me so really I'm fine. It's really a bummer that you didn't get quidditch captain but maybe they didn't want them both to be seventeen years because it would be easier so one of them could take the lead role when Sam graduates? I'm sure if that was not the case, you would have gotten it in a heart beat, you're such a good player, hun. Speaking of... Have you gotten any offers yet because I know soon enough they'll be scouting and you're going to be an awesome player as long as you don't get drunk.

Ah cool. Halloween is the best, I love it. For Halloween I was a ballerina. Super lame right, considering I've done it for the past ten years. Also, that would be so awesome! We would just have to kick mom and her new beau out of the house (by the way, have you talked to mom lately, she seems so happy, it warms my soul so much to see her like this). Firewhiskey, music and boys - it does sound like a blast, you pretty little dork face.

Well I have to go. Some jerk is trying to get my attention and I think I have to give them some of it because of my role. So write back soon, twinnie.
Love,
Lani.

I'll edit with rp later. I'm too tired, atm.

Lani,

IKR? Things have been so crazy, it's been so weird being at Hoggies so far away from you, but I guess it still was the right thing, and it isn't all too long until graduation and then we'll get to see eachother again everyday! So long as you don't get sick of me, right? Ugh, practising, please don't remind me! I haven't had time either, but I don't really have an excuse like you miss-too-big-for-her-shoes, and you're right, if any of those little Frenchies get on your nerves you can go all head girl on their butts! I have had one offer so far, but I am hoping for another, I don't know what path I want to go on yet, I mean this internship is fun and everything, but I don't know if I can stick all of the paperwork, you know me. I want to be out there flying around! You may be many things, but you my dear twinnie are not lame! You make such a good ballerina, it would be a shame to go change a routine, now wouldn't it?

And about trying to get mom and Tamas out of the house, I don't know how easy that is going to be, we need our own place! We're almost eighteen, we can't be living with them forever, especially now that they're getting all lovey dovey and whatnot. I mean it's cute and all when they kiss, but at the same time, ew! It's MOM. Hey who are you calling a dork, sillay! If we got our own place we could have parties all the time, but seriously a graduation party would kick ass! We could make it a grad party/hosewarming party, and you can't tell me we wouldn't be the most epic room mates, because we totes would. I wonder if Jenn has a place to go after Hoggies, what say ye to the three blondes united!?

Tell, him to go be a jerk elsewhere, it's twinnie timeeee ♥ P.S. are you working on that French tan?
Love you hun,
Riles

Riley-Poo,

Babes, its the third year since we've been at different schools. You really should have gotten used to it by now. But, God damn I can't wait until I'm out of school. We can do basically whatever we want and it will be amazing! I couldn't find anything else laying around but my too-too and pointe shoes, I figured it would work. Just said I was Princess Odette, people bought it, not knowing who the heck she was. Funny, uncultured people make me laugh.Oh by the way... I got an offer a few days ago for a ballet company in Russia. I'm going to actually be a ballerina, do you know how amazing this is? Yaye, dresses and prettyness all the time!

I guess I said it out of habit... You get used to one way of living for all your life and it's not a habit to say that you can actually be living on your own. Also, oh my gosh! That would be so much fun! Of course I'd have to apparate to Russia constantly for performance and practice, but still so much fun! I totally agree, Jenn sounds like a hoot!

He didn't leave, I tried to brush him off by looking pretty intense into writing the letter but it didn't help. Damn persistent, jerks who hit on people who are not interested.

Love,
Lani.

PS. Pale as ever, babes. You know me... Burnt or ghostly.
