Riley rushed down to the owlery, her robes fluttering behind her along with her blonde locks that seemed to be growing longer with each turn of semester. In her hands were a Peacock quill and a spare piece of parchment, the seventeen year old wanted to quickly write a letter to her twin sister before her next potions class. (which she hadn't yet completed the homework for) So quickly she set herself down and scrawled across the page in black ink, hoping Kalani would somehow manage to read her almost illegible linked writing that she had formed her words with in such a hurry. Riley could hardly believe that the first semester of her last year at Hogwarts was almost drawing to a close, and she had to admit that the thought of being out of school, whilst pleasing and relieving was a rather daunting one at that. She was still to decide whether writing for the Daily Prophet was the right thing to be getting into, or whether she should follow her dream and hope for a place as seeker on a professional Quidditch team. </SIZE><i></i>

How have you been? Can you actually truly believe that it is our final year at school, it's too crazy. And I know I said I was going to try harder in classes and blah blah blah, but I may or may not be writing this whilst I should be doing a potions essay that is due next lesson (my a** belongs to the Potions Professor!) speaking of school and whatnot, I didn't get co-captain, but I'll get over it eventually. Dannii and Sam got it actually, but I am hoping to get the part of Seeker again and kick some Slytherin butt. But how is Beauxbatons? You haven't gotten sick of all the prissy French girls yet have you? Lord knows I did.
School is just so boring, I can hardly manage to stay awake in some of my lessons, and really the only exciting thing that happened was the Hallowe'en feast, I got ready with Jenn, and she helped with my makeup (which I definately needed because you know how sucky I am with that sort of thing) and I went as the corpse bride, wore that old furry cut off jacket thing that mom used to wear, remember the one? Well, you'll never guess, I won best costume! I could hardly believe it myself, but the feast itself was so much fun. It got me thinking, we should have a party or something, for when we graduate, y'know to congratulate ourselves on working so hard (well, I haven't really worked that hard) it would be a blast. (who says blast? I am so lame...)
Anyways, I better get onto that Potions essay, I don't want a detention!
Stay cool,
Riley
Tying a scarlet ribbon around the rolled up parchment, the seventh year kissed it for luck and handed it over to her speckled Owl, Tito with a quick smile and handed him some treats. "Take it Lani, at Beauxbatons" she said as she ran out the North tower, her half written essay clutched in her hand as her robes were sent flying in the wind once more as the Hufflepuff set off for her house common room, hoping that she could pull an essay out of her bum, in order to save it from getting another detention.
