Open Here for a Year

Robyn had been a mix of emotions when she found out she was really coming to New Zealand for a year. She had been ecstatic, excited, relieved, and had felt as though a big burden had been lifted off her shoulders. She could finally take a break from her life in America and come spend it in a completely foreign country that was nearly an entire day ahead of America. She was still trying to find her way around, but she assumed this was how first years felt. Granted, Robyn was much older, so her sense of direction wasn’t as bad. She figured that it wasn’t actually that difficult to locate important areas. She’d been here for a week already, and she’d had a good grasp of where her classes were. That way she could be early to them if she needed. Despite this, the fifth year carried a map of Hogwarts in her bag wherever she went just in case it came in handy. Right now, she had just entered the great hall for lunch, and she was checking her timetable to see when her next class was. The food here was so good that she wasn’t able to stop herself from taking some extra snacks and things and place them in her bag for later when she studied as she knew very well she would get hungry before dinner time. ​
