Libby flew around the pitch on her broom, doing small flips here and there. She hadn't been able to fly all through the winter and now as spring and summer approached she was looking forward to the time she could spend out here. She flew down to the ground and landed neatly, getting off her broom and wandered over to the nearby bench. No one else was out here. She remembered a few first years wanted help before to fly, and wondered if they still did.

Immy looked out the window of her dorm and saw the quidditch pitch. She'd only gone for her first flying lesson a day before but knew to do well in the class she'd have to practice a lot. Immy got up from her bed and got dressed. She took a look at her straight hair, it was for once straight, Immy had bothered that morning to make it straight. She had to admit it actually looked quite nice. Her hair had grown darker, this always happened when it was sunny and it had been very sunny and warm lately. Immy then exited the room excited about being able to practice flying.

As Immy passed the great hall, she quickly walked in. She took a small apple and then continued outside and towards the pitch. Immy walked towards the pitch after collecting a broom from the broom shed. She'd have to get herself a broom. For her next birthday, Immy would save up and buy one for her 12th birthday. Immy noticed there was a girl in the air, flying and doing flips. Immy stood in awe, then the girl seemed to land. Immy walked out on to the pitch and saw the girl sitting. Immy walked over to the girl, a large excited smile on her face.

"That was so cool. How did you do that?" Immy asked.

Libby smiled as a little first year was impressed by what she just did in the air. "Thanks," she shrugged "It's just practice i guess. Ive been flying a long time." she smiled. "I'm Libby by the way." she added. "Can you fly?" she asked.

Immy shook her head. She could make the broom come into her hand but nothing else. She smiled to the girl a little older than her, Libby. Immy was impressed, it must have taken a lot of practice to be very good.

"I can make a broom come to my hand, but that's it. Can you help me learn?" Immy said with a bright smile. "I'm Immy. Nice to met you Libby."

Libby grinned, "You too Immy." she said. "Well go and get your broom and i'll try to help you hover if you like" she offered smiling, standing up and getting her broom back too. "Do you have a particular broom or anyone?" she asked, getting her wand out. It would be easier just to summon it.

Immy shook her head. She didn't have a broom yet. She'd get one soon. Immy smiled happily to the girl.

"I don't have a particular broom so any will do." Immy said brightly. "I'm planning on getting a broom soon. How long have you been flying?" Immy asked curious to how long it would take to be very good at flying.

"Accio Broom" Libby aimed her wand at the broom cupboard. "Ive been flying since i was four... so.. nine years" she grinned and caught the broom that flew towards her. "Here" she handed the broom to Immy. "Show me what you can do at the moment" she asked kindly.

Immy took the broom from Libby and smiled her thanks. Immy blushed a little when asked what she could do. It was nothing really. Immy smiled and placed the broom on the ground, held her hand over it and quietly but forcefully said up. The broom shot up to her hand. She looked back to Libby and smiled apologetically.

"That's all. I've never ridden a broom before so I need a lot of practice. I'm a quick learner though." Immy said with a smile

Libby smiled encouragingly. "Sure." she mounted her own broom. "Get on it like this." she started. "You have to give a kick off from the ground" she did so herself, and rose a few feet. "Then you can hover. If you lean back you will go higher," she said, rising further before leaning forward and touching back down. "To get down just point the broom at the floor" she grinned, her feet touching the floor again.

Immy smiled warmly at the girl who was helping her. She watch closely as Libby showed her exactly what to do. It didn't seem to complicated Immy just knew she had to stop thinking about it all. As Immy mounted her own broom as Libby came back down. She replayed everything that Libby had just done in her head before preparing to do it herself. Immy pushed herself off the ground lightly and rose gracefully a few feet into the air. It was strange to be hovering above the ground suspended by nothing at all. Immy leaned back slightly and went even higher. She let out a long breath before leaning back forward and pointing the broom to the ground. She began to descend towards the ground and maybe not so gracefully landed. Immy looked up at Libby and smiled happily.

"That is so cool" Immy said her face filled with excitement at what she'd just done.

Libby watched her, smiling as she began to kick off. "That's it" she encouraged as Immy started to hover. She was impressed when she chose to fly higher before coming back down. She was very pleased with her, "That, was awesome" she put her hand out for her to high five and grinned. "You, are going to be an amazing flyer i can tell" she commented, meaning it. She could really see Immy becoming one of the best.

(my other account is Robert Kain by the way :L)

Immy smiled and gave Libby a high five. She couldn't help but blush slightly when Libby said she would be a good flyer. She didn't really think so. It would be fun to be good but Immy didn't know. She grinned happily, ready to learn some more. Just being able to hover didn't feel like enough. Always wanting to move on to the next big thing was always what Immy thought and this wasn't the best way of thinking. She smiled happily at Libby.

"You think so?" Immy said with a small curious smile.

Oh, okay cool

Libby nodded. "I know so" she said grinning. "You will, honest" she said, "So what do you want to do now? I could try and teach you to fly once round the pitch? Or we could wait for another day?" she asked, not minding ether way.

Immy thought for a moment. Learn more, do something different. There was comprise in there. She could learn more then do something. It would depend on what Libby thought of whatever she picked to do. Immy smiled. If she learned to fly round the pitch once, Immy was pretty sure she'd be able to fly pretty easily after that.

"Could you teach me to fly round the pitch?" Immy asked excitement hard to hide in this girls voice
