Jake was enjoying himself, he was traveling again and today was a great day to be on the water. He was in Honduras and although it was hot it was also quite cloudy. He had apparated here specifically because of the weather patterns and the waves were particularly high as he anticipated a storm. Another benefit of the shady weather was that many people were tucked away in their hotel rooms giving him the pleasure of his own company. It wasn't that he disliked tourists, it was that he disliked most people. Not to mention sometimes the locals thought him a demon with his red hair.

Paddling along on his surf board Jake was near a cliff which was in fact somewhat dangerous but he knew he could get himself far away if need be. That water was warmer near the cliff from the welling of water and waves against the rocky structure. It would have been quite peaceful had Jake actually been alone.

Sanctuari, clad only in her bathing suit, stood at the top of a short cliff with her friends. Ever since leaving New Zealand, one could say that the brunette had been a bit reckless. She had regained her old partying habits, and was now starting back cliff diving, something she used to do with her sister before they grew apart. Sanctuari, a girl with more guts than glory, closed her eyes and felt the mild breeze. Her breathing was steady as she approached the edge. She was only about ten feet up, maybe a little less than that. It was a small cliff, but enough to give her the rush she had felt years ago. Her friends were chanting hr name, waiting for her to do it, to dive into the warm water below her; so that's what she did.

Her body flew through the air, at first slowly, but then what seemed like an impossible speed. Knots in her stomach came and went, and before Sanctuari was to hit the water, she opened her eyes. And it was a good thing she did, as she realized she was hurdling toward a boogie boarder. Ri tried to move out of the way, but still managed to practically land in his lap. He was lucky that she was diving from a small sized cliff, or it may have broken his legs. Sanctuari went under water quickly, sinking him and his boogie board as well. A few moments later her head came up above water and she looked around for whomever she had landed on, hoping she wouldn't have to carry him to shore.

Jake felt the waves move beneath him and he contemplated riding a few of the bigger waves. He just turned to paddle farther out when there was a sudden wait on the back of his board. It threw him off and he went under but he was able to hang onto his board and resurfaced very quickly. Jake pulled himself back up onto his board and looked around for whatever had fallen on him. He felt undamaged which was good and even if he had been injured it would have been easy to heal himself, but he wasn't made of glass and he would be fine.

After a moment Jake realized it wasn't a what but a who had fallen on him as a petite girl popped up from the water. Jake then looked up and saw a group gathered around the edge of the cliff. Jake raised an eyebrow, had they pushed her. He mentally shook his head, knowing that wasn't the case. After thinking on it a few moments he realized they must be cliff jumping, he personally had never done it but he heard it gave you a good adrenaline rush. Looking at the girl he wondered if she had even looked before jumping, it didn't seem very smart. "Aye, you couldn't killed me ya know." He said in a not too serious voice, he was after all fine but that didn't mean he wasn't going to give her a hard time.

Ri was still looking around when a voice came from behind her. She waded over to the board and gave the man a shocked look. Her violet eyes scanned him for a second, taking in his wet ginger hair and pale skin. He didn't look like the kind of person you would see surfing, but that wasn't the matter which was at hand. Sanctuari looked behind her at the sign that, in Spanish, warned of cliff-diving. She raised a brunette eyebrow toward the man and shook her head. Her Spanish accent light in her voice she asked, "You aren't from around here, are you?" She then went on to explain herself. "I know that because anyone who lived here, would know that this is a popular cliff diving spot for the locals; it even says so on that sign." Sanctuari waded away slightly. She didn't know if the boy would follow, though in her experiences, that seemed to be the case.

Sanctuari was not the prettiest woman in the world, though she drew people in with her unusual eyes. From there it was generally her personality that made people gather to her. She had realized that in her few years at Hogwarts New Zealand. It was then that she realized, that if the man wasn't a wizard, he could be injured without knowing. And she did owe it to him to make sure he was alright. After all, muggles didn't heal the same way that witches and wizards could. She turned around, only about five feet from the man. "Hey, why don't I take you to the hospital, there's one not fr from here. You should get checked out after that impact." She commented.

Jake took in the girl as she turned to him, her hair was wet and fell in soft ringlets. Her eyes were some bizarre color, which exactly he couldn't tell. She asked if he was from around here and he shook his head, "Do I look like I'm from around here?" He smiled at her his Kiwi accent was strong, he had lived in New Zealand his whole life aside from his travels. "And as for the sign I only know English." The girl swam away a bit and Jake noticed she swam very strongly as many smaller people do. Jake did follow the girl so much as let the current pull the board. She was interesting, this girl and Jake felt he could have a lot more fun here with a local to show him about.

The girl, they still hadn't been properly introduced as of yet meant to take him to the hospital and he smirked. "That's alright, I'm just fine. It's you I was worried about but I can see from your swimming that you're just fine." He hoped she wouldn't push it the last thing Jake needed today was to end up in a muggle hospital.
"But, you did almost kill me after all, the least you could do is buy me a drink?" He said a bit questioningly.

Sanctuari had meant the question rhetorically, but when he spoke she realized that she recognized that accent. That New Zealand accent that she had come to know while she spent time there with her sister and Link. Maybe the accent was part of the reason she was willing to turn around so quickly. She hadn't thought of Link in months, and him speaking reminded her of that man; the dead man she had been meant to call hers. She looked him over when he said he was fine. She wanted to ask if there was something about him she should know. Sanctuari wanted to know if he was a wizard or not, but she never knew how to ask. At this point she wished that they had a code word; like some secret password that only wizards knew. However, things couldn't be that simple.

Sanctuari had been close to land, and was now pulling herself up and out of the water. She looked back at the red haired man who was still in the water. "You know what, what the hell. You know the bar that's like, in the middle of town. It's a little place called, 'La Pub Cantina'?" She looked to make sure he knew exactly where she was talking about, one of her friends running down to see if she was okay at that point. "Meet me there; I'll be the pretty one." She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body, smiling as she left his side to rejoin her group of friends.
