It had been nearly a week since Cloe had begun the exhausting search for her son, and in those few days she had barely slept. Thus her appearance was rather sickeningly shocking, for Cloe had always been thorough about how she presented herself. Until recently of course. The only constant thoughts that ever crossed her mind were those of her son. How could he have done this to her? What she had done was only in his best interest. Even if she had been the one to have brought this upon them. Joshua included.
Cloe had only just arrived from the Ministry, and after the valuable information she had gotten, she was in a hurry. Blake's last known wand activity had been in the Forbidden Forest, last night. If she was lucky and quick enough she'd be able to find him before he was on the move again, and so she had very little time. It was already mid-day.
With a quick wand-swishing movement, Cloe had her things packed and ready. It was perfect timing that she would be leaving that day, as the residents of the apartment she had been temporarily living in were returning later that evening.
Without another moment's delay, Cloe grabbed hold of her belongings and turned on the spot, the physical pressure of apparation granting her a second of numbness that buried all emotional pain briefly, before she returned back to her mentally distorted state.
