Jamie awoke in the dead of the night screaming as tears streamed down his face, his skin glistened in the pale moonlight as his abdomen inflated and deflated in rapid succession. Jamie pulled his knees to his chest as he hug his legs and waited for his tears to subside as he replayed the last images of the dream in his head as he tried to calm down. It was a dream that had plagued him all of his life and one that he could not escape no matter how much he had tried he even went as far as to buy a dream cater which hung motionless over his bed and yet the dream came to him even still. It was a dream about the death of his parents but it was one that he did not know why he had as he was but a baby when his parents were snatched from the world by the hand of someone else's hatred.
Tokyo and its Neon lights were something to be marveled at no matter if you were a wizard or a muggle as it was a bold testament to mankind's ingenuity and skill as the sky above the city was littered with monuments of steel and glass as mans creativity was only limited to the heavens. At street levels the pavement was crowded with thousands as wizards and muggles alike walked with cause as everyone was looking to be somewhere at sometime and within this crowd was a young couple and a simple yet elegant stroller. the stroller was a vessel for the couples most prized possession, a giggling baby boy with the bright blue eyes. However in the crowed was also the ones who Jamie could only refer to as Life stealers but more commonly they were known as Death Eaters.
The happy couple were military personnel who worked fro the french ministry and had been called to Tokyo in search of a famed crime lord who had connections to France. However it seemed that the Crime lord was no ordinary man but a wizard who had his dealing with muggles or rather what seemed like muggles. They were in fact quibs who wished to lay claim to the magical world which was unfairly torn from the blood through an act of unbiased fate. The crime lord was on to the happy couple and decided to strike them first before they could make the first move and so as the happy couple turned down a nearby alley the hooded figures followed as they pulled from their pockets a muggle tool for killing... a gun. The couple did not stand a chance as the gun rang out its ominous cry as metal met flesh and lives faded to black. The men did not have time to finish off the baby nor did they have the guts to harm a child and so they fled into the night as the baby cries echoed against the cold stone walls...
Jamie had managed to stop crying but he had found that the room had grown far to small for his liking and so he got out of bed and threw on a pair of sweats and black v neck as he made his way down the stairs of his home. Tillian was asleep and could not be roused from his slumber and so Jamie snuck out the front door and made his way to a nearby park. The night air was warm and greeted him like an old friend as hit embraced him but briefly before moving on to its unknown destiny. Jamie walked a slow pace as he was in no hurry nor did he need to be as the world was quietly tucked away in there beds. An owl hidden in a nearby tree greeted him with soft hoot before taking flight as Jamie smiled up toward the starry night before he focused on the ground choosing that his foot fall on the pavement was far more interesting then it should be as the orange glow of the overhead street lights showered him with there electrical brilliance. He had not though much of anything since he left the house but now his mind wandered unheeded as he felt the imposing pull of loneliness tug at his heart. He was not truly alone but he could not help but feeling the somber emotion considering that in a room of people he was so off the beaten path that he could never be apart of the bigger picture. He was a misfit of misfits and it seemed as though he was destined to be the one who was outside looking in while everyone on the inside never notice the ones outside.
He had never fitted in with anyone though he tried all the time to find his place in the world but no matter how hard he tried it seemed that fate decided to put another road block in his path. First when he lived in Japan he was the only white kid in his school though he never knew why and in truth never noticed but the same could not be said about his peers who whispered about him behind his back and avoided him like a thestral. The headmaster took pity on him and encouraged him to remain strong as he taught him how to mediate and other life skills that would prove useful someday as he told Jamie that he was destined for something great. Words that were true as years later Jamie would come to learn he was different in more than one way as he was identified as a wizard. This information took him far from his sheltered upbringing to New Zealand where he joined others like him in attending the famed school of magic. However even with in these dusty walls he was found to be unable to fit in as his former home was something that was not a common sight for the students. His practices and beliefs were attacked but through it all he kept his head down and studied hard to be the best that he could be as he attempted to remain unseen and unnoticed. That is when fate once again showed its face this time summoning him to France where he would learn more about his family.
However it was far from the humble halls of Hogwarts as the children of Beauxbaton were rather vain creatures who lived solely for appearances and knew nothing of being humble or modest. The were obsessed with beauty as many of the students where half breed with blood connected to a race of humanoid creatures who used there looks to claim and manipulate they unwary humans. Jamie was not ugly but nor was he obsessed with his appearance like his peers as he kept his head in his books and out of the clouds. However France did bring him Tillian his newly adoptive father who loved him more than life itself and gave him the world as if to compensated the boy for the cruelty of fate. Tillian was a blessing and someone Jamie could trust and believe in which was crucial as life would only get more complex and difficult in the years to come. Jamie looked up from his mindless walking and realized he was at the park and so he decided to make a beeline to his favorite haunt.
The old abandon gazebo sat in seclusion amongst the trees lost and forgotten as if the forest had nothing better to do than to create a haven for the beaten and the broken. Jamie would spend most of his spare time hidden amongst the trees with his sketch pad and ipod and loose himself in his craft as lead met paper in a beautiful fusion only giving birth to something that was worthy of the world. Jamie however was critical of his art and never allowed anyone to see it not even his dad. He bleed his heart out on the pages of his sketch pad and it was raw and primal at its core as it was the only outlet that he had in the world. He was most vulnerable and real when he was drawing and it was something he would not share with just anyone but with the one. Jamie sat down on the hard wooden bench as he placed his head on the side of the wall and closed his eyes loosing himself in the silence of the night.
