Another book done.

Casper closed The Dark Forces and placed it on top of the fourth book he had read today. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment as he took off his glasses. "Why. am. I. studying again?" he asked himself, finally opening his dark brown eyes.

His hair looked unruly today. Not just his hair, but even his clothes were in disarray. He hasn't slept for two days because he needed to finish these five books for his written report in Defense Against the Dark Arts, so today, he looked haggard. Compared to his original look, that is. He has eyebags and his shirt wasn't properly buttoned. And yet, looking at him now, people would still consider him an attractive sight.

"Oh! Right. My report." Casper murmured, nodding his head for a moment but deliberately shaking it after a few seconds. He sighed again. He was tired of this lifestyle. He only started studying so that he could have an excuse not to see his father. Casper hated his father. Or his father's ideals, at the least. He started reading books so that he can tell Hayley "I'm studying." when she calls him to attend family meetings and such. The usual pureblood stuff.

But lately, Casper thought over the facts once again. Yes, he is definitely pureblood. Not even his blabbering can ignore that fact. Yes, Hayley is older than him for a few minutes or so, but he was the first and only boy sibling to the Hubertas. Yes, it's his responsibility to take over the family. And yes, he can't afford to ruin the family name just because people are calling him a blood traitor.

"I'm not a blood traitor!" he hissed as the thought came to him. Casper stood up and started to fix his things. "I'll show you what I can do." You'll never see a pureblood who's going to be as good as me.

Those filthy students were everywhere, the corridor, common room, classes, Hayley hated them with all her heart. Even tho some of the students were pureblood, they were still filthy because they were acting like stupid people. Yes, there was no difference between those filthy muggleborns and purebloods, they were all the same, both wasted their time babbling, or even shouting, screaming which reminded Hayley of her cousin, the brat. She dislike that girl, she was so much like Koboshi but Koboshi was still smart, and she was clumsy.

After looking at the bag of Hayley's, she groaned and took her robes, walking down the common room, exiting it and to the corridors. She walk up the stairs, to the fourth floor, entering the library and spotted her book on the corner. She took it, ready on leaving but then she spotted someone else. Her twin brother, Casper, yes, Casper. At first she couldn't believe her eyes but then she decided to sat beside him. She notice him talking to him self. "Tell me Casper, why were you talking to yourself?" She said standing up in front of him, glaring at him. "Those girls were talking about you" She said coldly and then glared at the group of girls, giving them death glares and then back to Casper.

Casper looked up to see his twin, Hayley Huberta, looking annoyed as always. At once, Casper took his bitter look away and smiled at his sister. "It's a normal teenager thing, talking to thy self." he joked, mimicking one of his professor's way of talking. It was Casper's usual self, being carefree and all. Though today, he had decided on something. And it would change him forever.

Casper wasn't able to say more because Hayley started talking about some girls talking about him or something. And when his sister glared at a group of students near them, he got what she was talking about. He looked back at Hayley. "Seriously, Hayley, you should stop yourself from noticing everything. And those girls are not even worth your glare. I bet they're just useless mudbloods who can't do anything but talk about me like some stalkers. Creepy." he finished, making an expression that anyone would quickly understand as 'disgusted'. Now Casper had never said anything like this until now. He used to love muggle borns before. He used to not care about blood status. But why not, right? After all, he is higher in blood status than them. And not only in that aspect. He's sure he's better than them in everything.

Hayley chuckled as she listened to her twin brother talking "Why is it normal again?" She asked not finding anything normal, in fact she was a little afraid of him going to talk to himself regularly. No, Hayley never did that, she was always found quiet and cold. People were afraid to talk to her because she never say a word to strangers, well if it was that important she would but if it wasn't then she'd rather not say anything. After all, why would she waste her energy to talk to unimportant people?

What surprised Hayley was the word `mudblood` that came out from Casper's mouth. He sure had changed a lot, he was the one who told her that blood status wasn't important, both Casper and Caroline. And now he was insulting those girls? A smirked that turned into a smile appear on Hayley's mouth as she lead Casper away from the library. After all they couldn't speak in there too much, the librarian would be crossed. "What made you like this dear brother?" Of course Hayley was curious, he was so different than he used to be. "Casper, we'll have to stay in Howard's manor for a while on the break probably a few days because father is going to do something and he wont let me know what it is and I don't dare to ask him what's going on" Hayley would never cross the line, she let her father had his privacy all to himself. "I don't know why Heather likes Dorothy, they both get along very well, but not me, I dislike that girl. How to get rid of her?" For the first time she asked Casper for an advice. She wasn't even sure if Casper dislike that girl as much as her or if he was okay with her screaming around, losing her temper.

"Well..." Casper tried to think of an answer, but to no avail. "Well I just know it's normal." he said and gave that usual grin that made girls weak. Casper followed Hayley outside the library, leaving the books he read for two straight days. Not that he'd need them, anyway. The contents are all complete in his head and he can dictate them all if he wanted to. "Made me like what? It's not as if I changed or something. Or did I?" he asked his sister, although he was completely aware of what she was trying to say. Looking forward, for the first time not smiling at anyone who says hi, Casper chuckled a little. "I just realized something important. That's all."

When Hayley mentioned their cousins' names, Casper had had difficulty remembering their faces. It's been so long since he attended family meetings. Although surely he was going to attend the next ones after this. "Their manor sounds nice." he commented, remembering glimpses from visits long ago. "And I can ask father about his little trip, if you want me to." Casper was the favorite, after all. And even though he never really liked it, he couldn't deny it. His father has high expectations, and now Casper was going to meet every single one of them. "You shouldn't think about getting rid of your cousin, Hayley. It's not nice." he told her and chuckled again. "You can't hate everyone, you know. You'll end up not getting married. Unless it's a fixed marriage." he retorted and chuckled again. The though of Hayley growing old and single was really funny.

Hayley rolled her eyes, of course Casper had changed a lot, he wasn't like this, except the grinning "Of course, you were sorted into Gryffindor and I have no idea why, I'm sure when our cousins are in here, they'll be in Slytherin with me, not with you. And back then you told me that mudbloods and purebloods are the same and now you're insulting muggleborns, mudblood" She said with an eyebrow of her higher than the one on the side. "And yet you're asking me that you haven't change at all. Psh" She said and looked away from him, she liked him this way. So that both could share the same interest and probably time if he wasn't as busy as he was.

Why did Casper even like the Howard manor? "It isn't the manor, but the kids well except Donavon, they're wild" Hayley complained not liking their attitude. "Of course except if uncle Rupert is there I don't mind because then they'll be disciplined if they're not behaving. Psh. Screaming and shouting, that's like the third class" Hayley said with an annoyed tone in it. "Yeah if you can find out what's going on with father, please do let me know" She smiled at her beloved brother and hit head with her wand right after what he told her about marriage. "Oh please Casper, I don't get rid of the Jins or even that half blood Koboshi Aiko or Mayfairs. So in conclusion I just don't like those who behaves like... Like them" She said not knowing how to describe her bratty cousin in a word.

Casper decided to shove the talk about him changing, not talking for a few seconds. The two of them just continued walking along the corridors, ignoring everyone. Casper had a hard time remembering the names and the faces of his cousins, making him give that confused expression on his face. "Donavon--err--that's a boy, right?" he asked his sister, still not able to remembering the face.

Now Casper knew their uncle. He doesn't have anything against him, but Casper thought that their uncle was just--too much. Well, not that he wasn't used to it. His father was too much himself. "I shout alot myself. Does that make me a third class? I'm one hell of a first class, though. Ah. Whatever." Of course Casper knew how picky his twin was when it comes to other people. It's some sort of a proof that she was Slytherin. Most of them in that House were like that. "So how are you doing with your studies, anyways? Been failing your grades lately?" Casper asked, grinning again. "You know. I decided to just enjoy my life. No more studies."

Hayley glared at Casper and hit him playfully "No silly, the girl, Dorothy? She's just too much and she screams a lot more than you Casper. Believe me, you weren't there last summer! I didn't even know where you were! And thanks to you Casper, I was the one lectured by father, yes about you missing the whole Summer with the family" She said as she walked along the corridor with her head held high. There were some glares from students seeing that a Slytherin was walking with a Gryffindor was just odd for them but Hayley didn't care. She didn't even care if Lykke saw them, after all she did whatever she want, she wasn't born to please other people than her parents or siblings.

The moment Casper told Hayley about him enjoying life and he didn't want to study more, Hayley stopped and glared at him. "Are you out of your mind!? Do you even know what father said about you? What he expects from you? Dear Casper, you're the only son he has so at least try to satisfy him." The girl gave up, she couldn't change her brother, it was him who chose to enjoy his life by not caring about what Andrew thought about him. "And as for me, I don't like being around those filthy creatures in the classroom, I'm thinking about being home schooled so that I can have the manor all to myself but then I'll have to be away from you and no, I don't want that" She said flatly.
